Hames is by far the best ice cream around.. staff are fantastic and most helpful. Outside seating is also great 👌 5***** from me and my family

First time we have been to the Highwayman. we were greeted with a spacious car park. On entering the pub we were greeted by the landlord and his wife. Both were friendly and helpful without being over the top. Two carveries for pensioners £4 95p each how good value is that on a Sunday ? There was a choice of pork, beef and gammon cooked just right well we had the succulent pork seven vegetables, creamed spuds and roast spuds. As much as you wanted. The landlord served the meat which was really thick and generous with portions, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. The gravy was of the right consistency and full of flavour the mash was fluffy and tasted lovely. All came on a hot plate and you helped yourself to the veg as most places now do. I would recommend the Highwayman to anyone that wants a good hot roast dinner. We shall return again when we next visit Skeggie

Had ultimate burger with chips. Milkshake. Tea and can drink. Burger bland. Beef patty poor. After 15 minutes waiting was told didn't have the flavour shake ordered so chose another our food had already arrived. The shake took another 15 minutes which then meant we at to leave as needed to get to work. Couldn't drink the milkshake at all as flavour was way too strong coco powder taste. Overall disappointing and a waste of money. Quite busy one young girl serving and making all drinks so no wonder wait was over 30minutes for one milkshake!

What a loss to Skegness the loss of this place is, we visit town at least 3 times a year and always had lunch here used to be such a bargain and good proper food, so hope the owner surfaces somewhere new, they new how to cook proper food

Popped in on hubby's birthday weekend after a little bit of shopping in the area. Wanted something quick tasty and filling before we left for home. Very friendly welcome from the owner. Ordered a BLT and a brunch. Did not disappoint. Very tasty cooked fresh and altogether a great find. The owner was chatty too and made us feel like old friends.

I usually take my other half here as regular as possible and I have to admit that the food is always cooked to a high standard… I ordered steak & Ale pie mashed potato and fresh vegetables was delicious. The Mrs ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and accidentally got a rare sirloin steak which may I point out she’s never had rare before but was very happy and absolutely loved it and loved it so much that we actually stayed for a pudding… We had, cookie dough Cadburys chocolate crazy something and sauce on top and vanilla ice cream and oh goshhh was that moorish yummy 😘👌 lol We really loved it so I left a tip. This is not a negative it’s a very big positive thanks Wolfies.! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Lovely pub shame don't sell food

Gone massively downhill. Haddock tasted and smelt rank and rotten, didn't look or taste like Haddock at all. The chips were Frozen chips , and very tasteless and pale looking. The portion sizes were very small and not worth its money one bit. The cups of tea were watery and out of a processed tea machine, and tasted nothing like a real proper tea pot with teabags. Massive decline in quality overall , won't be visiting again, plenty more higher quality fish and chip shops in skegness.

Lovely cafe along the high street. Great tuna panini and BLT as well as beers and cakes. A gem in the middle of Skegness. Highly recommended. Staff also very polite and attentive. Definitely worth a visit for a nice lunch if in Skegness.

Popped in here while passing and was not disappointed. Good value and excellent quality food. Great service and friendly staff. Get there early if you want a seat as its so popular!

Worst Fish & Chips we have ever had ! Chewy overcooked fish tasted of nothing and curry sauce tasted powdery and unlike anything else from a chip shop restaurant! The chips were fine, at least they got one thing right. Absolute waste of time and money. We used to come here a lot and the food used to be really nice, but it has massively gone down hill to the point where the food is no longer edable. I dont see how they could get it so wrong?

Visited twice on sunny Saturday. First visit very busy, several stag and hen do's, very noisy inside and both outdoor areas rammed. However, managed to get served reasonably quickly and 2 large glasses of wine good value. Returned 2 hours later, after checking into hotel. Quieter although still busy, and got a booth at the back of the pub. Ordered 2 chicken jalfrezi curries. Arrived in 15 minutes, good portions, fluffy basmatti rice, naan bread and 2 poppadoms. Arrived hot and very tasty. Excellent value and good service. Tommy's Margaritas to finish, premixed but great value.

Absolutely disgusting service ordered 2 teacakes and our friend after us ordered her food, her food comes out 30 minutes later and no sign of the teacakes when we asked for them we were spoke to like trash and then only 1 teacake came when we said there should be 2 teacakes we got "well we are short staffed" another lady then appeared with the missing teacake that wasn't even toasted ended up asking for a refund and that seemed even harder than getting a properly toasted teacake..
