I'm not a reviewer but I wanted to say that the Tower Cafe is a bit of a find in Skegness. Up the stairs at the back of the amusements, it's a bit hidden away. Once you do find it though, you'll come back for more. The food is very good, the staff are friendly and engaging and it is very good value for money. Definitely going back soon. Mandy is quite lovely.

Not good everything greasy including the food get what you pay for everything done on the cheap staff scruffy food poor.

Come here for breakfast every time we are in Skegness, and have been coming here for years. the breakfasts here are without doubt the best value breakfast in Skegness and the portion size and quality are great cannot recommend enough.

First time I have been in here I am local so took my daughters in the staff was very rude young lad told us where we could put fold up wheelchair and one of the staff rudely said you can not park it there then one came up and ask us what did we want first and last time I will go in there

Bank holiday weekend I get it’s busy. 30 mins for two milkshakes is not good enough. We only ordered drinks as I needed a sit down was going to go back in the afternoon for food. I’ve always come to this cafe and it’s the first place I go. I’m afraid I won’t be coming back or recommending this place anymore. We had two lattes and two milkshakes. Our lattes came pretty quick the milkshakes I got told there will be a little wait. So we went to sit down the one lady on the till taking orders was rushed off her feet seemed to be under pressure to take as much money as she could forgetting about the people who have ordered before and are waiting. We went up multiple times asking about the milkshakes. Only to be told when I get through this queue I will start doing them. The queue never stopped so our milkshakes never got started. On the 3rd time of asking I said I would like my money back. Only to be told and I quote WE ARE NOT A FAST FOOD CHAIN AND DONT GIVE MONEY BACK! our milkshakes were swiftly done and we finally got them after someone else got there milkshakes first. Customer service in this place does not exist.

Once again we went to Tower Cafe, once again the food was excellent and the staff were cheerful and friendly. We will definitely calling in there each time we are in Skegness.

The towers cafe is easily the best and only place to go for breakfast. When we have a weekend at skegness we will never go anywhere else as nowhere even comes close. Fantastic value for money. Cannot recommend it enough

Everytime we come to Skegness we always come and have our breakfast here. There are no frills about this place but as long as food is good, what more do you want. We both had the Mighty Tower breakfast, you can choose either fried bread or toast, and tea/coffee. Tower Cafe you didn't fail to deliver again, as we had a lovely breakfast, lovely friendly staff who are very accommodating. The tables are thoroughly cleaned after each user with wipeable menus. We will definitely be returning when we are next in Skegness.

Food was not worth the money, was expensive for what it was. Sausages tasted cheap and bacon was covered in white fats as you can see from the picture. Beans didn't taste of anything and eggs were split. Chips was nice though.Service was terrible, lady served me was rude and didn't smile at all. Not welcoming and made sure not to go back there.It's a shame because I saw the good reviews and thought it would be good but my food looked nothing like the other pictures on here and in reality it wasn't worth the money and when staff are rude it puts you off going back

We have visited the cafe regularly over the past few years and have always had good meals. Nothing is too much trouble. Great value for money and great customer service 👍

The staff and the food here are brilliant. Ordered the Mega Breakfast which came out in 5 minutes. Plate was full to the edge, well presented and most importantly tasted great ️If you've not had a breakfast from here before then it's well worth a visit as you'll be pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem Will be back again

Saw this cafe as number one on the Trip Adviser for cafes in Skegness, just had to try the place. It really is good and great value, a full freshly cooked breakfast for under £5, including drink and toast, all served with great service and a smile, I can really recommend you give it a try, I promise you will not be disappointed.Great veggie options are also available.

Stopped off here a couple of times while in skeg the breakfast was that good, first time had the large it was a good portion so had to downsize next time, lovely food with great service.

This is the English Breakfast that you want to eat to set up your day. the sausages are cooked to perfection. the fried eggs you can tell are Free Range. the yolk is so lovely. Not soggy toast. the Bacon is deep. cooked well. and cuts up easy. the beans OH HELL JUST GO AND TRY THIS BREAKFAST as we are a very long way away now and the Group and Myself just want to go back in time to july when we had the best breakfast ever. we will return on our next vacation that is a promise. Thank you Ma.AM and Staff. Thank you all.

Breakfast for 2 people for less than a fiver aswell as good service the food was great too. Would go again, but avoid the grand hotel on north parade .

Always tasty food but price is creeping up on mains unfortunately the decor and premises are not...part of the cost of any meal is the surrounding location,soon the two won't be compatible.

Use it regularly during the summer. Good quick friendly service and good quality breakfasts of various sizes at decent prices

When in Skegness - to many it's the ‘Las Vegas of Lincolnshire’ (okay there’s not so many bright lights but not far off plus there is enough sand on the beach to compare with the Nevada desert around Vegas, but then does Nevada do donkey rides?) - we usually go to the Tower for either breakfast or lunch dependent on time of day of course as it serves ‘no frills’ good, well cooked food at reasonable prices that won't break the bank plus your wallet or purse for that matter. We have been going there for quite a few years now and we have never had any ‘bad moments’ meal-wise as its all cooked fresh and arrives on the table in mere minutes. They have a good menu to choose from with assorted sizes and portions to suit just about everything - true we have not seen the “Incredible Hulk” in there, so can’t speak or grunt for him as to his requirements. While there is a range of different sized tables to sit at from a table for two upwards, while a nice touch is a large table clearly marked as a ‘family’ table as it seats quite a few in one go - I say quite a few as it depends on the size of the family or people sitting down - so it’s a nice touch. The toilets are well maintained and a member of staff we note is often popping in to cast an eye over them to make sure all is well. We have often referred friends to the Tower when visiting, like us, and so far everybody who has been has not had a bad word to say about the place plus the staff are quite friendly and helpful. Overall the Tower represents good value for money, really good food so if like us, these qualities ring a bell with you we may well see you there soon then!

grandson had a baby tower breakfast when we arrived in skegness and soon finished the lot, along with a mug of tea, i just had a tea which was nice and hot, all for just £3.40. on saturday grandson had a roast pork dinner and i had the lite bites lasagna chips and salad, couldnt eat it all but grandson polished off the chips after his dinner.lovely lady doing the cooking and having a banter with grandson making him laugh. great food at bargain prices. a must to visit!

We're local and go for breakfast (Baby Tower) twice weekly. The food is always well-cooked and hot, and always delivered quickly, no matter how busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent value for money. Typical cafe setting. Keep up the good work!

Visited on the spur of the moment and found a simple menu, but air-conditioned surroundings and friendly staff. The menu is a basic seaside menu, but it is well cooked and at a fair price (although I found the soft drinks a little pricey). Food was served up quickly and I enjoyed my burger/salad/chips. Lots of tables and nice staff. Worth a visit!

Called for breakfast this time, i think they open a little late for this,9.30 before the gate opened, though i'm sure they know their customers better than we do !

My wife and myself both had one of the many daily specials. Roast pork with all the trimmings. Owning a cafe ourselves we are usually quite critical.....Not on this occasion everything was lovely. Will be calling again.

We go here for breakfast every time we are in the area because in our opinion you can't get a better breakfast for the money anywhere else in Skegness.The food is great quality given the price. The staff are very friendly and efficient you don't have to wait long to receive your food. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

Went here last Monday and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had it was cooked very nicely food was not greasy at all and very tasty and good quality ingredients my partner had the cheese burger and that look very nice too will definitely be back again.

we stayed at Butlins for the 70's weekend and visited here every morning again for there Mighty breakfast, it's a generous serving cooked to perfection with a choice of frayed bread or toast, also includes a mug of tea :-) all this for £4.50 bargain. nice friendly banter with all the staff, it was exceptionally busy due to the beach racing weekend but they never stopped working with professional manners, a credit to the café. I also was back in here the following week with my friend and daughter and told the boss how they have a good team working for them :-)

Have tried most places for breakfast in skegness but only go here now as the price and food are fantastic!!

On walking in you may be tempted to leave, don't ! Ok the decor is old an in need of a serious update but the prices and food make up for it. I had a fabulous cottage pie lunch,wife a baby tower breakfast with tea and coffee came to just over £8. Great price and great food albiet in a dated environment but clean and friendly.

Visit here quite regular when in skeggy Cheap and cheerful, plenty choice, good portions, usually eat in there for breakfast, great value mini breakfast/ tower breakfast! , will defo continue to visit here x 👍

We chose to eat here twice or more (a few days in a row) a year when we visit. We love seeing the same staff here, committed and friendly. The food has never been bad- always tasty!

Visitamos con mi familia para pescado y patatas fritas. Excelente porciones. El pescado y patatas fritas no estaban grasientos. Los guisantes blandos eran muy buenos. Tuve el pensionista especial que tenía mucho para comer, con una gran jarra de té.

This cafe is one of the better cafes in town. It's a typical 'greasy spoon', the decor is aged, the furniture is past it's sell by date, no funds spent on the decor, yet the food is great and such great value for money.

Visited Saturday 24th September.I had regular sized haddock, chips and mushy peas. The fish was quite big I wouldn't have managed a large one. My wife had a roast pork sandwich which wasn't technically on the menu but they did it for her which we appreciated. They asked me not to tell anybody so please forget I told you.Iconic location next the clock tower and good value food. Staff very friendly which our quick lunch even more enjoyable.Worth a visit!

Had a mini tower breakfast at 1.70, sausage,bacon, egg and beansit was hot and just enough but at a geat price, and it was lovely and a cup of tea at only 50p, yes, 50pthe specials all looked good with lots of choice and will definately be going back

Came here with my mam to grab something cheap and cheerful for lunch and that's exactly what we got. We ordered the farmhouse grill and it came pretty fast, staff were friendly too. The food was gorgeous especially the mushrooms and chips.I liked the music and atmosphere in the room... and to top it off I had a nice pudding for a better than good price. My only criticism is they should change the scent in the toilets to vanilla or something as I don't like the fruity smell much but other than that I am pretty happy with the meal and service I had. Good place!

Went to skegness for 10 days and went to this cafe everyday staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. They serve the best breakfast I have ever had.i would highly recommend to anyone and the prices are brilliant well worth your money :)

Been here for breakfast all week and it's always been spot on, and such lovely staff. Quick service unless really busy which is understandable. It's a lovely little cafe that has a great choice and a warm welcoming. Would recommend this to anyone.

Called in for a tea and a coffee, total cost £1.10. Yes just what we wanted at a price we were more than happy to pay.Didn't eat there, but the menu had a good selection to choose from, and again all very cheap.

Was recommended this place by one of the locals, you have to walk through an amusement arcade and up a flight of stairs to reach it but it is worth the effort.. I opted for the mega breakfast (£6) because I was really hungry AND because it included black pudding as well as all the usual items.. coffee or tea was included in the deal, very good value. The lady cooking our breakfast was on her own and dealing with quite a few customers but still managed to serve up our food quickly and exactly as ordered. she was very efficient.. I struggled to finish my food (eyes bigger than belly) but did eventually manage it, it was very tasty and worth every penny

Called in for coffee, hot choc and brekkie, had sausage bap which had 3 sausages, not best banger Ive ever eaten but good value, and Mrs C had fried egg bap which had 2 eggs, again good value. Its not Michelin 3 star but they fill you up at a decent price

Breakfast in various sizes from mini to mighty for those with a big appetite. Typical cafe food and gets quite busy at times. Also serves good home made grub. Always a special offer available. It's definitely cheaper to eat here than cook at home! The staff are friendly and helpful. Best cafe in town.

during a recent break we came here for the tower £4 breakfast three times during the week, the breakfasts in here are excellent value the food is freshly cooked to order and comes with tea or cofee, the lady who cooks the breakfast even remembered that we order one breakfast without tomatoes and one without beans we thought this was real ly good service we are going to skegness again in a couple of weeks and we know where we will be be having breakfast.

Got breakfast here almost every morning on holiday. Food is made fresh and value is unbelievable. Proper mugs of tea, made fresh and only 50p! Breakfast to fill you for the day for the cost of a pint. Friendly staff. Best value for money in Skegness. It may not be the Ritz, but who cares when you are getting quality cooked food at prices most cafes were charging 20 years ago!

The full English from here is top class. Very filling. A lot on the plate and also very cheap. With very quick service. Would recommend.

The pricing is very fair, you get tasty, English food served in quick fashion. The staff are friendly, a nice, quiet place to know in the Skegness area.

We always go hear as it's the cheapest place to eat in skeg the food is hot and plentiful was off putting when people was walking a dog around the cafe maybe this was just a one off

My wife and I decided that we needed a good breakfast to start our day, well before the wife went on her shopping spree. The Cafe is easy to locate, with one flight of stairs to climb. Plenty of seating available with tables and chairs that were all exceptionally clean.Menu listings were readily available and condiments were aplenty. Service staff were extremely polite and welcoming when I ordered our food.The kitchen area was spotless, even bearing in mind food was continually being prepared. Utensils used were frequently changed and nothing was used twice in preparation. The orders were taken and we sat down to await delivery. Prices were very reasonable.Within 15 minutes, there were two orders before mine, our orders were delivered to our table, piping hot, on clean plates, which means the dishwasher is well maintained. The food came on plates that were free from grease or excess oil. The quality of the food was excellent, everything was cooked properly, the quantity too was much more than expected. We left fully satisfied.I would without hesitation recommend this cafe to anyone...

The food was very good had roast beef dinner took about 20mins from ordering to table well worth the wait.

Been here on a number of occasions.The prices are good and the food is not bad and the staff you can have a laugh with!. But I have to mention that when i went in recently to have some breakfast they had some maintenance work being done near the cafe and was drilling while the cafe was open and people was having their breakfast and i found this very inconsiderate to me and for the customers that was in the cafe and no apology was given. I left some of my breakfast because of it, and did not stay because of the noise. Apart from that I would go there again because I have been going for years to this cafe and this was probably a one off but I thought I mentioned it because customer satisfaction was not held on this occasion. I think they should do there maintenance when it is not open!.

Been in the tower cafe a few times this week. We find it to be nice food nice staff. Just with the other cafés in town woz as good as the tower.

I am a regular and visit a couple of times every week for my breakfast. The breakfasts just get better and better and the price has never changed since I started using it two years ago. Yes sometimes you have to wait, but I'd rather wait for it to be freshly cooked than have pre cooked food on the table instantly. To all you holiday makers, if in Skeg Vagas give it a try, well worth the short wait.

the tower cafe is in a nice location but when i ordered it taken over 15mins to arrive i felt like going down to the arcade while i was waiting

We eat our breakfast here most weekends. For 4 mini breakfasts, toast & drinks its £8!!! Unbelievable value. Just the right size for our children and perfect for us. Not greasy at all. The bacon is very tasty! We've also had other meals here and the roast dinner is well recommended. The staff are very nice and friendly and service is quick.

Have had breakfasts here a few times. The food is high quality at a really good price. Only the best produce used and homemade. Efficient service and friendly staff make this cafe stand out from the rest. Highly recommended open all year.

I am a local and live in Skegness. I have visited many of the cafe's in the area and found this one to be best for value and friendliness. A mug of tea made fresh in the cup is 40p and coffee 10p extra. A small English starts from as little as £1,50 and there are deals to be had out of season. It is open 12 months of the year where as some close for the winter period. The staff are polite and friendly and will have some banter with you if your up for it. Well worth a visit if only for a cheap cup of tea on a cold winters day.

My Husband and I have been dining here since Mandy took over the running of this cafe. There is a wide choice of meals, with prices to suit all pockets. The kitchen is extremely clean, the food piping hot and the service excellent. The staff are friendly,helpful and you will always get a welcome smile.
