Best chippy in all of Skegness. Daughter kaity says the cod was the best she’s ever had, even better than when we was on holiday in Cornwall last year at Rick Stiens. Staff super friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10.

This place is ok, fish and chips are fish and chips at the end of the day however what put me off is the seating area is dirty and staff stand around just watching with there headphones in not really doing anything. Yes they wipe the table tops but the seats and floors are something else,

Great fish and chip shop , every thing cooked as it should be. There are lots of these shops in Skegness, how ever we found third one to be good.

Vile food and staff. A ton of over done batter with a tiny bit of dry fish inside, we ate what we could and didn't say anything about the food all though we left most of it. What p**sed us off was a 'staff' member coming out multiple times and screaming f**k off at the birds as we were trying to eat. I was tempted to throw my disgusting food in his face so the birds could have a feast. I understand now why the place was empty

It's out go to chippy, always excellent food wether it's busy or not. Fish is cooked to perfection and you get a generous portion of chips.

me and my partner went here this weekend, it looked okay so we thought we would try it. the chips were either really dry or completely soggy, my cod was fine but my partners had loads of gristle in! the place wasn’t clean at all, the tables had curry sauce on them and food from previous people, the shop wasn’t even busy at the time we went, there was probably another 3-4 people in there, also not very well run, there was about 8 workers and only 2 of them were actually doing there job the others are standing round. unfortunately we won’t be coming back here.

The first fish and chips shop I came across when I decided to eat. I had to wait a few minutes for the fish to be fried. The actual product was excellent. There was seating inside and outside. Later I discovered other places were slightly cheaper. But I had already eaten and maybe the others were inferior.

Obviously a trip to the seaside isn't complete without fish and chips. There are many to choose from in Skeg. We went to Tony's because they don't offer gimmicks just good honest fish and chips. We placed our order took our seats and waited a short while for the food to be cooked to order. Really nice fish with good batter. Proper chips none of the skinny french rubbish. Topped off a good day out, thank you

August Bank Holiday weekend, suggesting a visit any other fish & chip shop is Skeggy would be criminal, Tony's is without doubt the best.

Dissapoonting, chips were pale amd soggy, fish was nice but there was not much of fish under thick coat of batter, charged me for mushy pras even though the price list said they were included, asked for cheese on top of my chips it was the cheapest cheddar type of cheese which didnt melt as the chips werent hot enoigh, would not buy there again

Visited yesterday expected better. Fish and chip was like batter and chips the batter was hard not crispy but hard. Chips and peas just out. Outcome -upset tummy won’t go back.

I went here for some fish and chips at dinner time. There was a 10 minute wait but they take your order, let you pay and call you when it’s done. We had haddock, chips and peas for £5.95 each. They were beautiful, really fresh fish and lovely chips. Not greasy with lovely thin batter. It was a popular place but worth a treat with indoor and out door seating. Expected the best fish and chips in Skegness, as it had been for the last 10+ years. We were so disappointed, batter not cooked properly, chips very pale, small portion sizes for the price. Staff were miserable, tables and floor weren't very clean. Will not go back again, it's gone down hill rapidly since change of ownership/management.

Fish undercooked and not properly coated in batter. Chips were quite pale. They were busy and I suspect it was a case of trying to get people served quickly which I understand but I’m sure most would rather wait a minute or two extra for better food. Things have changed here. Came her a couple of years back and it was pretty good. Went today and asked for Cod with the skin taken off and got flat refused. Told some rubbish excuse about the fish falls apart and doesn't taste right if you take the skin off. Utter rubbish. Ramsbottoms next door manage it, and with a smile too. Change your attitude people, or like me, trade will walk out and go elsewhere. Terrible customer service, do yourself a favour and go to Ramsbottoms next door.

Just reviewed a restaurant in Ware Uk. The fish we had was very poor.It Got me thinking about Tony’sWe are 5 ladies . 1 has a caravan in Skegness.We always visit for lunch on one of our visiting days.The fish is always so lovely and fresh .Chips as they should be with colour great taste and just the right consistency .Peas and curry both good.The prices are amazing . Poor fish and chios in the south 12.95Great fish and chips here with peas 5.50.Go compare !The only small downside for me is the pack of starlings if you have to sit outside.We have a dog so did have to.They are very annoying dirty and noisey.Maybe you could fill the sides in so the birds have knowhere to sit.Saying that in Bridlington the seagulls swoop down and steal chips.Keep up the good work Tony.

We travelled from Barnsley to Skegness, we were not disappointed. We had fish (haddock) lightly battered absolutely delicious, chips big chunky and red hot, mushy peas just finished it off. The nice touch was the newspaper sheet which was like a place mat. Took me back to when fish and chips were always wrapped in newspaper. When I went to Tony's for fish and chips I was amazed at how small the portions were tiny fish handfull of chips the fish was one side and the chips the other peas on top little pollastiren dish tasted lovely but for the price the smallest in skegness I think

Had two specials off the board today and it was delicious very hot fresh fish light crispy batter chips and thick tasty curry. Will be back

The fish and chips are gorgeous. not greasy. food hot. Fish is lovely. SUCH A HUGE PORTION wow. Is that really one portion per person we got? really? Golly Gosh. And it is a fair price for a huge portion. well dome to the staff again for showing our group that we are all equal when trying to see the menu and trying to sit and relax. than you to every one . I have been using this chip shop for 20 odd years and to day was the worst the fish was dry and the batter I could have hammered a nail in a wall with the staff did not smile just looks like that have eaten a old lemon except for a gray haired lady that as been there for years and she all ways has a smile on her face . A smile gos a long way in my book it's a shame that the old owners are not running it as things was a lot better

Best fish & chips I've had for ages. Not at all greasy, a light and crispy batter and the haddock could not have been fresher. Very tasty.

My fiancé has been bringing me to this chip shop for the last 3 years. He has been visiting here since being a child on his family holidays. The food here never disappoints me. Good sized portions. I always leave happy.

The place is clean and modern in which you can eat inside or out.

My son & myself eat here every visit & never disappointed. It was closed last time so we went next door, never again, they were awful. Tony's haddock is so fresh it falls apart. Only complaint they charge for plastic cutlery, should be included in the price.

Beautifully bubbly, crispy batter; white, flakey fish and fluffy chips are what you'll find at Tony's! The family and I have been here a number of times, and each time we have never been disappointed. The staff are always very friendly, and there's always something delicious to choose from. Don't fancy fish and chips? Then there's always the trust Pukka pie, battered sausages and even turkey dinosaurs for the little ones too! So if you're feeling that hunger strike, or you're just in the mood for a good chippy, then take a walk to Tony's and try it for yourself.

We always use Tony's for our chippy lunches. They are always freshly cooked and proper spuds not new ones. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. Only downfall is lack of toilet.

Tony's Chippy at the Clock Tower has long been a favourite of mine since early childhood and I have visited almost every time I'm in Skegness. Cod Chips & Mushy Peas is always the order. You buy your food inside at the chip bar and eat it outside at the tables in the enclosed yard. On this occasion the fish was tasteless and the batter soggy and it didn't help that the fish was languishing in the abundant scoop of mushy peas on top of the chips - a bit of a mess, not helped by fact the batter stuck to the chips and the fish fell apart as I tried to eat it with the traditional, small wooden forks. Not good and not so cheap either.

We came to Skegness for the day with our two young boys, and obviously needed to have fish and chips at the seaside. I looked on trip advisor for the closest and best ranked place to eat, and came across Tony’s. It was very busy but we managed to get a table. The fish was so fresh and had a lovely light and crisp batter, the chips were really tasty and the mushy peas were great too. I’d read about small portions but thought the portion size was just right. Throughly enjoyed!

A family of 4 adults 2 kids what can I say the food was great. Fish, chips and mushy peas for a fiver great value. Service was what you expect from a chippy go order get your food and go to your table. Who needs all the trimmings like table service on a great day out in the sunny weather.

We always go to Tonys the chips are the best in town. They let adults have kids portions if they can't eat big meals. Warning get there early if you want to sit and eat as gets very busy.

We went here last October when we came on a day trip and it was delicious.....this time it was not very good at all....not sure if they have changed staff etc. The fish was still excellent but the chips were really dry, the battered sausage wasn’t good as the batter was too hard to even chew, the battered burger was ok but again the batter was really hard....like it had been cooked twice. I have been using Tony's Fish and chip shop in Skegness since 1986 and tonight had the most awful visit.

Visited last Friday for some lunch, price was average, to be honest around same price what we pay at local fish and chip shops, smaller portion though, however the fish was cooked well, light crispy batter with good flavour and nice crispy chips, the peas were good quality ones too.

Yummy food and a short wait for it. Friendly staff who are only to happy to help. We'll worth stopping at if your hungry and are wondering where to eat

Me and my wife used this Fich and Chip Shop for the first time and found everything was just as perfect as is possible for Fish and Chips outdoors. Will cerainly be going thereb again this year when we are holidaying in the area.
