Popped in on hubby's birthday weekend after a little bit of shopping in the area. Wanted something quick tasty and filling before we left for home. Very friendly welcome from the owner. Ordered a BLT and a brunch. Did not disappoint. Very tasty cooked fresh and altogether a great find. The owner was chatty too and made us feel like old friends.

First cafe I came to after getting out of the train, so I dived in for breakfast. Cheese-and-tomato omelette and tea. Just the job. Owner was a fun guy with grey hair in a ponytail, gold earrings and necklace, and friendly banter. He said to pay afterwards, as a runner wouldn't stand a chance against him! Omelette looked a bit of a mess but was excellent. Mug of tea decent too. Things that can't be taken for granted. Cost me only about £5.00, so this cafe is excellent value! It's way back from the seafront, so maybe that's why it felt friendly and the exact opposite of a tourist rip-off joint.

I thought I would try support small business again, expecially since the virus, I was still disapointed, owner was more intrested in taking photos from his door and checking his phone than customers needs. The food seemed slightly undercooked and pale in colour, exspeically the sausages, were only just cooked.

Stumbled across this little cafe and we're so glad we did, brilliant food and better service! Considering it's called lite bites, the portion you got was anything but! Everything cooked fresh to order and excellent value for money!!! Biggest breakfast you could have was only £5.50! (2 bacon, 2 sos, 2 eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, chips, 2 toast and a cup of tea or coffee) it was spilling off of the plate, so much so I couldn't eat it all. Does a great range of food including a full roast dinner for a fiver, sandwiches, jackets, etc. All meat was from a butcher, none of the shop bought rubbish. For the price it was exceptional and shall definitely be returning! Excellent food and top bloke :-)

Went there for a good old fashioned fry up. Food was good, but expensive for what you actually get. 5 quid for a tea, 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 tomato, spoon of beans, 1 bacon. Disapointing, I understand that they have to cover rents, tax rates etc, but I could had got so much better buying a All day breakfast sandwich from Morrisons for half the price. To top it off inbetween customers Barry (the owner) was outside chain smoking and then going to stir some bits WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!

Lite Bites is a very small cafe on the one way system in Skegness. I visited there in the summer and once there are more than 5 customers sitting it is very cramped indeed. The decor is very old school which is fine if you like that sort of thing and the food is of average taste and value for what they sell. The view is of traffic going by on a very busy one way system so no points for that. One of the biggest gripes I had was there were no toilets for the customers. When you sit there for a meal and a drink I find it odd there are no toilets, and if you need to spend a penny you need to venture to one of the nearby Pubs or the train station to relieve yourself, also there is no parking. I would much rather promote Raff 55 on Skegness seafront. Their breakfasts are excellent and are all you can eat for much less plus the drinks are not from sachets. The view is of the seafront and parking just over the road is ample and free during winter months. There are many eateries in and around Skegness so you have a wide variety of choice, I'm afraid I will not be going back to Lite Bites.

This is a lovely little cafe located close to the one way system in Skegness which means you can watch the traffic and people go by as you are eating, great if you love people watching. This is only a small cafe with limited seating outside, but this goes in its favour as you get more of a personal sevice, almist as if you were eating in your own dining room or kitchen being served by members of your own family. The Cafe is clean and tidy and tastefully decorated with a great many Skegness related photos, old posters and other Skegness related memorabilia scattered about. This is a family-run business with a very pleasant and helpful 'governor', Barry who does most of the cooking and serving himself and will welcome you with a smile and a pleasant greeting. A nice range of meals and 'light bites' (now you see how the cafe gets its name) to choose from with a choice of deserts, hot and cold drinks and VERY reasonable prices, which are well within reach of pretty much everyone's budget I would say. You certainly won't be ripped off here, that is for sure. A range of 'all day breakfasts' are also available, which cannot be said of a number of cafes in Skegness who stop serving breakfasts around 12 noon. I will definately be returning, and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

We were away for a few days in Skegness and wanted a breakfast as the hotel wanted to charge us another £10 each for breaky! We knew there was a Wetherspoons but we wanted to go local not national so a couple of doors down from the Red Lion was Lite Bites.. there are only about 6 tables (and 2 outside) BUT don't let this put you off... They have a standard breakfast for £2.50 (and that includes Tea and Buttered Toast!) In my mind it's great value and serves good home food! I'd recommend it!

Unfortunately, the Dunes Complex is definitely not wheelchair friendly. There are disabled parking spaces in the car park. However, they were all taken, and some didn't have Blue Badges visible. Once in the Dunes Complex, there are 2 more ramps to consider, the 1st one is quite steep, and the 2nd one is less of a hassle. If a wheelchair user or someone who has mobility difficulties wanted to get to the stage, they would have to ask staff for a further ramp. To get onto the stage itself, well, there are narrow corridors that a wheelchair does not fit through, and there are no handles or any form of mobility aid.

Staying in Aby village for a week's holiday and had to try the local pub. Exterior looks a bit "tired" but don't be put off - inside it's friendly. cosy and lots of character. Excellent choices of dishes on the menu and "daily specials" board - we especially appreciated the choice of gluten-free options and Dawn was happy to go through each option in detail. Good portions and served hot! Very tasty and wholesome. Wide range of dessert options too and it was evident from conversations with other diners, that Dawn would also be happy to adapt these just to suit individual requirements. Obviously very deserving of the many awards over many years.

Lovely fish and chips hot and fresh cooked to order . Few seats outside or you can sit inside at extra cost . Only reason I've not given 5 stars is cause they charge for a carton to take away what you can't eat which I thought was a bit mean as we'd spent over £30
