I called in to collect a family member from a regular activity ran by one of the fantastic groups operating from the Derby Dance Centre. Ahead of my schedule, hungry, I took the opportunity to branch away from the homemade cake faire and coffee and order from the simple but extensive memory. I haven't eaten a fish finger sandwich for decades, but the thought of acid tartare sauce, vinegared chips swayed the choice in this direction. Without a real clue about what was to be presented from the chalkboard, I ordered at the counter, quickly served and was served at the clean table! A delicious bloomer sandwich, buttered tatare, crispy salad filling to flavour wrap the 3 fat fish fingers, rocket salad garnish and skin on fries. It was delicious, filling and great value for money at £6.50 having been made to order. A large flat white at £3 complimented the lunch. Lovely staff keep this venue bubbling along with intelligent conversation and a personal responsibility invested in the Dedá dynamic.

Great breakfast here, went somewhere else the other day because they was closed and it didn’t even compare. The buttery is no1

When we travel to Derby, we always have coffee at 200 degrees. As a takeaway, I purchased 500 grams of decaff coffee beans, which were ground as I enjoyed my coffee and cake. The staff are always very polite and supportive helpful.

Loved our meal at Seven, the food was delicious and huge portions. Also the espresso martinis were fab! Loved the decor and the service, especially from Gabi who made sure my mother in law had a lovely birthday. Will definitely go back.

We arrived at 21:30 on a saturday. The place was empty we were the only ones there so that was good I guess as it took roughly 30/40mins to receive our mains can imagine how long the serving takes when the place is full. The food was bad. Medium rare steaks had spots ranging from well done to rare. The stilton sauce was nice. The carbonara was inedible and was abandoned. The loaded dirty fries had no flavour. Well overall disappointing first and last visit. Avoid

Disgusting business owners. Never pay what they owe. Absolute thieves that shouldn’t be allowed to be in business in Derby.

Family of 3 on a Friday evening. Sat in the rear dining area which had a couple of other tables of diners. It was fish Friday so the smell was overpowering when we walked in. Our server was friendly and attentive but felt a bit rushed as soon as we sat down. Menu was ok, no salad options or light menu. Food was okay. Stir fry beef was more like a carbonara and the brisket was a deconstructed plate of food. Lasagna was delicious. Smaller portions than expected for the cost. Menu gave notes about additives but no calorific notes. Not asked regarding allergies. When other tables left felt a bit strange so left without dessert to go elsewhere for a livelier atmosphere and drinks. Overall okay but wouldn’t rush back.
