The best restaurants serving British food in St Leonard's Chesterfield East Midlands

Food is average. The service on the other hand was dispicable. Asking a family to leave purely because there 2 year old son may make too much noise is not acceptable in my opinion. If this place doesn't welcome children they should state it when you book and not embarrass people in front of there family on the day. Extremely rude

Our favourite breakfast spot in Chesterfield. The menu is always full of interesting flavour combinations! Bacon . Brie and mango panini is delicious. The staff got to know us really quickly and we always get a warm welcome there.

The company has started supplying buffets to the firm i work for and they have a bigger variety than most caterers, including baguets and wraps. Service with smile too. must pop in the shop soon

A good Bakery/ cafe , friendly staff.I had pasta Bolognese bake with garlic bread .The food was cooked well nice and warm.i also had an hot chocolate with cream on top which was very nice

Called in as it is in the CAMRA GBG. A tad disappointing as several hand pumps were dead. The Ashover Littlemoor Citra was in good order though.

Dinner between 24 colleagues on the principle of a menu to share! Delicious in everything. Grilled halloumi with gray squid as a starter. The caramelized pork is to die for!

Fabulously decorated pub and great staff serving too, friendly and helpful This pub, tucked away, is no longer Greene King but always has good beer, great wine all at a reasonable price and food too We visited at Halloween 🎃 and the decorations were amazing. Well worth seeing 👀 Well worth a visit all round and welcoming decor, especially the comfy settees !

Sunday lunch to celebrate my brother's birthday. There were 6 of us today and we all thought the food was incredible. I couldn't eat it all and ended up with a box to bring my sticky toffee pudding home. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Bravo 👏 👏 👏

Food was cooked perfect. Had roast chicken dinner with plenty of veg. Good value for money and efficient service. What perturbed me was the waitress with the dark long hair TOLD us it was cash only before we sat down which was rather direct. Would have preferred a welcome instead. On finishing she declared my bill was 39.50 (3 of us). I asked for the bill politely. No bill coming. Declared the bill verbally again to which I paid feeling disgruntled on ignoring my request. Albeit this is not unlawful I give no stars for poor practice. I have never ever had this experience before anywhere.
