Went for lunch .Ordered a mushroom pizza .Barman was really helpful throughout our visit and told us about their deals available ...The mushroom pizza was well presented and tasted delicious .Will definitely be going back .

Best fish and chips. Friendly helpful staff. Never been disappointed. Popular with locals. See same faces time and again. That speaks for itself

a very nice clean place fresh food great staff and no car parking and a step at the front door if something on the menu you dont like if you tell the staff they will change it for something else plenty leg room round the tables and it is a very nice bright place

Went this evening 10th June 23, we have friends coming over next week and was looking for places to visit with them. What an absolute s**t hole The beer tasted like vinegar, children in the bar, no evidence of food being served. The place was utterly filthy cobwebs stained brown they were that old. We should have taken heed before we went in, we commented on all the dead hanging baskets. Didn’t finish our drinks, husband left his because it was so bad. Avoid at all costs, I don’t understand why so many good reviews it’s awful, in fairness we didn’t sample the food. Woman behind the bar was pleasant enough.

The staff at Costa Boston ( Pescod Square) absolutely rocks. They are very welcoming, friendly and they make sure that your experience is great every single time! They deserve praise above and beyond. Thank you for always welcoming us with a smile and for the great coffee! ☆☆☆☆☆

Really cosy traditional pub serving incredible food at very reasonable prices. The food and service are second to none, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I had crab cake starter and blade of beef main (swapped my mashed potato for chips and so glad I did they are amazing chunky chips!!!) my husband had prawn starter and a burger both of which he said were faultless. We were full and extremely happy! I highly recommend. Make sure you book in advance as they get busy!!! A credit to the owners

Called in for lunch before going on to an event elsewhere. The food was very reasonably priced and well prepared. The staff and venue are superb

Was staying in the area with work at Fawlty Towers up the road (sorry I meant the Premier Inn) who had a very limited menu so I look for somewhere local to eat (five minutes walk). Rang up on the off chance of a table and we were fitted in no problem and afforded a lovely warm welcome excellent hand pulled beer and lovely freshly prepared food. First visit but won’t be our last, thanks for the hospitality!

Had a reservation for Sunday lunch & called to say we were running late, they couldn't have been more accommodating & shuffled other tables round for us. Every member of staff was so lovely and helpful. The food.....wow, probably one of the best Sunday lunches we have had. Highly recommended.

I visited for the first time in a while as I heard some new chefs , the breakfast was fantastic I asked for the name of chef and it’s Steve from Skegness , I can’t say anymore than thank you Steve from Skegness the breakfast was hot and fresh very tasty

The pace was clean enough but one waitress in particular was very slap-happy in her tidying up and taking dirty pits away, she dropped a dirty knife on the floor, looked at it and carried on, it was still on the floor when we left over 30 minutes later!
