Fab little pub just off the main High Street. Lovely quirky pub with a really good outside beer garden. This is our second visit this year and we will go again next time we are in Skegness. Really friendly bar staff, very welcoming.

We visited for Sunday lunch. Excellent, well presented Sunday roast with desert, good sized portion and very friendly staff. Good beer too. Couldn't fault it and we will be going back. One thing, its not in Grantham its in the village of Skillington near Grantham.

Only got chips and gravy from here. Good chips and decent gravy. Looks like there's a lot more on offer, all of which look nice. Maybe a little expensive, paid £7.20 for chips, gravy, sausage and a can.

Great to pop in after work and enjoy a few beers in the sun. The selection of beers seems to get better. The outside space next to the canal is a great when we get a warm patch

Becca deserves a mention very polite and friendly and worked hard during a very busy time. Food was beautifully presented and sticky toffee pudding was a good portion

At a whim stopped by on a Friday night, not been here for a few years, was surprised they no longer had a specials board. But opted for the carvery which was fresh and delicious. Staff wonderful, special shout out for the lady behind the carvery deck who was lovely and friendly and never stopped all night

We visited for a family birthday meal and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The Sunday dinner was beautiful and fresh and the pies were also a real treat with proper home cooked chips. All staff were lovely and helpful and they were really accommodating letting us bring a birthday cake and sorting the candles etc…. Thank you for a fantastic meal. We will be back.

Excellent canalside pub with a wide ranging bar menu as well as more formal dining. Large portions. Fantastic location on a lock and opposite the Canal Museum. Plenty of outdoor seating when the weather allows. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Well worth a visit. Yet another visit. Same comments apply. We were there again this weekend. Lovely lunchtime snacks overlooking the canal. Formal dinner in the evening - excellent

My wife and I do not get many opportunities to have a meal out due to childcare etc. We are so glad we chose to come here for a lovely couple of hours. The staff, food and surroundings are lovely, really enjoyed the experience. Thank you to the team
