Not to bad, just a little quiet

Got kicked out of this establishment today for no apparent reason.

We were there for darts and dominoes game.

Beer is well kept. The pub is spotlessly clean.

Very good pub. The lgbtq recommended this to me.

Lesley and team have done an amazing job making this pub welcoming and friendly. Really good atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks! A real variety of drinks too with soft drinks on tap . Great live music, events and great company! First night out in a long time after having baby, was absolutely brilliant!

Fantastic central pub which now has a fantastic atmosphere again thanks to the current landlords and ladies. A friendly welcome and lovely setting whatever the weather.

Nice spacious pub. Food was good. But there are less options available in ale.

Popped into the White Hart for a pizza dinner. Staff so friendly, very relaxed feel to the pub and food hot and tasty. Ended up joining in with the pub quiz (Wednesday eve) and going back the next day for another tasty dinner. Will definitely go back when in the area again.

5 stars for random act of kindness! I was on my way home from work. On bike, after 10 pm. And somehow I've lost my bottle with water. As i was half way through to get hoke i became bit thirsty and though I'll pop in and buy a pont of tap water. Lad serving me there offered ice and slice of lime and was just sucha great person. And so helpful. And didn't charge me at all. Didn't want any money! Thwnk you! I'll be back and if i see that fella over there ill buy him a pint of his favourite larger /ale or whatever he's drinking. As a thank you. Oh and pub it self looks amazing! Perfect example of not judging book by its cover. 😇👌

A great pub at the centre of the village that serves as a location for charity events, local causes and community groups - serves a damn good pint at a reasonable price too. Frequented by a vast array of Whaley folk from all walks of life and all are welcome. Most football matches are shown and it does not matter which club you support... there is always friendly banter to enjoy. Good standard of pool table too. Thursday night The Hart hosts a jam session second to none where amateurs mix alongside great musicians, not to be missed.

Ignore the negative reviews!! These are just bitter people who don't want us to leave the EU and are taking it out on a local business who decided to mark the day we leave! I have loved it every time I have been in, friendly people and great atmosphere.

A pub that wouldn't be missed if it is swept away in a biblical flood. The collective IQ of the staff is barely in double figures. It proudly sells poorly kept beer to 52% of Whaley residents. There is a free Union Jack flag for every ten pints of lager made by a Canadian brewery.

I’m local and this has to be the worst pub in village by far, grotty and dated. Nothing nice about this place including the staff, atmosphere & those loos!

Nasty food, grotty place and ignorant staff. Dog friendly though. Every other pub in the village is better than this dustbin of a pub.

This has to be the worst pub ever. The food and drink is just awful. The atmosphere, terrible. Worst of all, I found out they are holding a knuckle dragging, Brexit party night. I mean, come on...

I'd avoid this place. I came in with a few friends, one of who was black, the locals at the bar asked me when I was getting my drinks If i'd ordered one for 'The monkey" . I told the staff and they didn't do anything. The pub was dirty and dated. Grim toilets and it was like going back in time. Very unfriendly.

A typical locals pub that shows sky sports. The beer is good, there's an outside deck overlooking the River Goyt, but it could go with refreshing.

The lady owner here was so kind. I left my bag here and she saved it for me in the back room. I had my life in there. Friendly staff all night and had a good laugh with them. Thank you so much!

Jenny and I just came in here for a drink after doing the latest 10-mile section of the Boundary Walk from Bollington, and you might think the White Hart is just a busy sports pub with a good range of ales on tap. It's also got quite a large deck outside though, overlooking the river - only 20 yards or so from the main road, too, but the noise of the water drowns out most traffic noise, and crucially it faces west so was perfect for sitting in the sun and having that well-deserved beer. There's also a riverside terrace downstairs though that loses the sun earlier so wasn't our choice at 6pm. A good find and pretty friendly too, and they had some cracking beers on....

Food was good and reasonably priced. Drinks good selection and also reasonably priced. Back room was good with pool table in middle and different screens on walls. Juke box good selection of songs. Thanks

Cold thumbs meant I gave this pub 4 stars, had to go back and give it 5 when warmed up friendly welcome great beers. Highly recommended for that post walk pint.

Re-opened apparently on 8th February 2019 new management. Went in on a sunny Tuesday afternoon very quiet but really friendly landlord and landlady. Perfect sun trap next to lovely river. First time visiting Whaley Range but a lovely place to stop instead of rushing past.

Enter on a week day and it’s quiet and friendly. Go in at the weekend and it’s like a men’s locker room- loud, stuffy and full of Whaley Bridge lad types who think they’re awesome. Meh, would rather go to Goyt or Drum and Monkey where it’s a classic country pub atmosphere.

Nice pub, reasonable range of ales, also has a loyalty card scheme. Unfortunately all tvs covering the world cup!😠

A good selection of beers, with friendly staff and locals. They offer a disco most Saturdays, as well as open mic nights. It's probably the best pub in Whaley to watch the football, although it's equally good for a quick pint if you've been out walking.

Went in a few times on a week's holiday in Whaley - friendly and great choice of beers the ones we tried were really nice as well. One night had a small trio in - acoustic guitar and bass and a cajon drum doing nice selection of covers and really adding to the atmosphere as not too loud or intrusive but brilliantly filling the airwaves! Dog friendly and a fair few in there. Lots of seating and an outside bit that seemed to be over the river.

Unfortunately we came when they weren't serving food during autumn. We stayed and had a drink. Good service

Helt grei lokal pub med preg av lokale gjester. Vi bestilte pizza som var meget velsmakende. Gjør oppmerksom på at White Hart pr.september 2015 ikke tar kort som betalingsmiddel. Kun kontant. Service nivå var helt greit.

mi mujer y yo fuimos a el White Hart última semana para cenar y no eran realmente impresionados con la comida. fue muy comida de pub de base y cuando llegó mi comida estaba templada. debe haber sido se levantó alrededor mientras la comida de mi esposa. No creo que volvamos a molestar en ir allí de nuevo.

En la semana antes de Navidad, tres de nosotros decidimos tomar unas copas y comer en el White Hart en Whaley Bridge. Sabíamos que la cervecería pasamos un montón de dinero en el lugar en el último año o así y estaban deseando pasar unas cuantas horas allí.
