One of Glossop’s best places for a meal, breakfast or even just a brew. The breakfast is always served fresh and hot , definitely recommend.

Good, casual place to meet friends, or have meetings. Large enough to not be crowded, and an outside area when the weather is good. It was relatively quiet at 10.00 ish, it obviously gets busier around midday, and evening time. A friend had a late breakfast which he enjoyed.

My daughter and I ate lunch here before heading off on a walk. We found the food very good with a huge selection of dishes to choose from. People of all ages were enjoying the relaxed atmosphere which was nice to see. There is certainly something for everyone from hearty burgers to salads and all day breakfast. I tried the lamb flatbread and my daughter had a salad. We also shared some tapas which were good. One small gripe - you order either at the bar or via a QR code and once you get through to the payment screen you are asked how much to add for service. At that point you haven’t had any - so it feels a little odd to be asked for it then. The staff were all very friendly and chatty with us and other customers so we didn’t have any issues but typically you’d pay your bill and add service at the end. The other good thing is that Pico Lounge is open all day unlike so many other places in the area. Long story short we will go back!

Very disappointing as I've always enjoyed Pico. I visited on 2 January '25, with friends I'd recommend the place to & I felt I'd let them down having told them it was a decent place. It was very quiet for a big place only 4 of 5 covers & maybe because of lack of bodies, was cold. The burgers arrived lukewarm and were damp under their bottom buns, probably as served on cold plates. The harrisa chiken flat bread was stone cold. The chips were fine. Turned out new staff were geing trained for the upcoming Bolton lounge. I mentioned our issues & we were offered an extra drink as compensation but I'd have preferred the usual great food. Might be a while before I'm back.

We had a lovely couple of hours in pico. The service was very good and although it was extremely busy we got a really nice table that buffered the noise. Had the aubergine flatbread, friends has shaksukas- all plates weee emptied. Really enjoyed it.

Went to order online but it was impossible to complete. Went to the counter to order, and had to repeat the order 4 times! Asked for a cappuccino in a mug, the server for one in a mug, was told they all come in mugs, only for it to arrive in a cup!!!!

Love all the lounges, The decor is great and the tables are far enough apart to move between them without having to squeeze.

Good place to get lunch out, so pleased they let us in with our small dog otherwise would have gone elsewhere. Excellent service and good menu with veggi/vegan options was super.

We stumbled upon this restaurant/cafe when looking for somewhere for coffee. My friend and I got 2 take out coffees and they were amazing! The french vanilla iced latte is to die for!

A popular place, and deservedly so. There's a good range of well-cooked food, coffees and teas, plus attentive, friendly staff who are great at recognising faces and making you feel comfortable. A while ago the Pico used to include a hot drink with breakfast meals, but don't any more, which is a pity because it has made small meals significantly more expensive. N.B: Dogs and kids can be an irritation, and the acoustic is very 'bright' and noisy, so it can be difficult for the hard of hearing, people with tinnitus, and those who just like quietness.

Fabulous breakfast as always, however one of my corn fritters was burnt and inedible and I left it and pointed this out to the waitress . I was then expecting someone from the kitchen to at least apologise. After 20 mins of waiting I went to the counter and ordered 2nd cups of coffee and asked for them to be complimentary. This was granted and apologies were made. Turns out the waitress hadn't mentioned the burnt fritter to anyone. The error was sorted in my eyes with the extra coffee ! Just a slight training issue to address x

First time on a Saturday evening. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and ambience, I was amazed that I didn't have to book. The waitresses were excellant, and the food great.

We've been to Pico Lounge several times now after moving to Glossop and the service is always excellent. They staff are super friendly and attentive and are always so lovely with our Dog. She just loves going, especially as there is a whole section of treats just for Dogs! The food for humans is also excellent too! Great variety, in fact when we took my sister-in-law who is a celiac, she was blown away by the size of the gluten-free menu. Can't fault the place!

The cheapest bread , scrambled egg was tasteless. Very small portion . Seems more like dried eggs . Not the treat out I expected. Disappointed Won’t go again

This is a really lovely place, I loved the decor, the food was absolutely delicious. I didn't like that we had to order on an app as there were 6 of us and it took us ages. It was over an hour before we even got a drink because of how long it took us to decide what to eat and use the app. In hindsight we should have ordered drinks on the app then ordered our food. I would have preferred to have had the option to order face to face or on the app but I know a lot of businesses now work this way. Staff were very polite. I'd definitely recommend visiting here.

Really good, we enjoy the buxton branch and thought we would try glossop. We weren't disappointed!

We are regulars here and enjoy coming with our kids and their friends for the family-friendly environment. Something about the high ceilings makes the space feel quite nice.

Nice atmosphere, good food and good service. You can get a table nearly all of the time. Pretty riverside location if you want to sit outside. Dogs welcome.

I accidentally spilt a drink on the floor and I was expected to clean the floor, so he gave me blue roll to clean it up myself.

The place is known as an alcoholic pub, but the option of non-alcoholic drinks is available, and the place also serves an option of English breakfasts; Like eggs, beans and toast with pork sausage and bacon. With a varied menu for dinner. Drinks are priced between £6 and £8, and offer the option of ordering from the table by scanning a QR code. Pets are allowed. Parking is available. Payment is accepted in cash and card. Gratuities are accepted.

Had a lovely visit here, we joked with the waitress and they were very attentive, quick and kind.

Wish I'd taken a photo. Ordered a Buddha Bowl, I guess the clue is in the name. Utter trash. I've seen better in my food recycling. Completely devoid of any flavour or taste, and I did taste everything, but the rest went back. Can't tell you how disappointed I was, oh, I just did. I doubt there was more than £1 worth of food on the dish. Cost of the meal £12.50.

Really not dog friendly. I have an assistance dog, she often stirs on my knee. We were approached and told “No dogs on the furniture” we couldn’t finish our drinks quick enough. The couple opposite us said they encountered the same with their dog, But had already ordered food. If you want dog friendly I would avoid.

Not been to Pico Lounge for a good while , I love the fact it caters for everyone , I had gluten free tapas , daughter had tapas too but off the non allergen menu , ordered from the QR code at the table , food came within 15/20 mins and was really lovely .. We really enjoyed it all .. service was brill , everything perfect . Thank you ! 😊

Dog and child friendly with a relaxed atmosphere

Ordered a meal that didn't list onions as an ingredient. Meal came and was covered in red onions. I'm not allergic but have a strong intolerance for them. Scraped them off. The waitress was very apologetic and was very nice about it. Probably my own fault but worth asking if you're unsure about what might be in the meals.

Pico Lounge is absolutely brilliant. The staff are fantastic and it has the most comfortable and relaxed atmosphere you could imagine. Five stars any time of day and any day of the week.

Food lovely. But I didn't like the big large school hall type restaurant.

Had an absolutely dreadful experience here last night. Went with my partner to meet friends for food and drinks. 1) The app used for ordering food and drinks didn't work 2) Went to the bar to order which inexplicably only had two staff on. 3) Waited ages at the bar only to be told 'we can't take food orders at this till, you'll need to queue over there and my colleague will serve you'. 4) Waited even longer whilst this colleague served a bunch of people who had been waiting less time than us ahead of us. Told there was a 40 minute wait for food. 5) Paid £20 for a pathetic meal which consisted of one poached egg on a roll, some over-cooked chips and a warm beer 6) Meals arrived 20 minutes apart despite placing on one order 7) Went back for more drinks. Ordered cocktails. The bartender didn't measure correctly meaning that the glasses were only half full but we got charged full price I really wouldn't waste your time or money on this mess. Absolutely embarassing

Fantastic, slightly quirky place. Fun but relaxed and light atmosphere, with friendly staff. Menu is great for a brunch, can particularly recommend the lounge eggs (aka eggs benedict). Very good COVID measures - can order and pay online with a good, mobile friendly website, tables spaced out etc. Short wait for food and drinks, and dog friendly as well.

Wonderful food and great service

Went in here last Wednesday for lunch with my family and the dog. Had some lovely food and the dog loved it. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend 👍 We had 2 of the tapas selection and the food was tasty and good value. The place itself looks great and the staff were all so friendly and a credit to the business. Kobe had the doggy sausage 😊 I wish we had managed to get a better seat as in the main area it was a bit loud. If the weather was better we would have sat outside in the lovely seating area. And the seating around the stairs area was full up. The menu itself was fab, great selection and good value for money. The food was tasty and very appetising. Will definitely be back again next time I'm passing through Glossop with the dog. It's a great venue for a good meal. Thanks for a fab lunch ❤️

Decent place, foods good (prawns were frozen not fresh) and portions are a bit small. Otherwise good spot for lunch.

You have to wait to be seated, which seemed totally unnecessary in such a big place on a Wednesday night. There were 6 of us plus a dog and we were seated at a table probably more suited for 6 pre-teens. It would definitely have been a struggle if we had been eating. Drinks range seemed really quite poor but maybe it's not really somewhere that people go to drink alcohol. It does seem a popular place for families or other groups to meet, maybe because it's somewhere that could never really be overfilled due to the size and layout. In view of this, their decision to turn the music up did not make sense but did mean that it was difficult to talk to people who were not sat directly next to me, even on a small table. The toilets are up a lot of stairs. There is pleasant outdoor seating next to the river and the place is child friendly and there's plenty of parking, although you reportedly need to be aware of the terms and conditions for this. Despite all the negatives that I have mentioned it does constitute probably the best place to meet up with people (as opposed to going out drinking) in Glossop, certainly in the evening

Oh wow, what a find glutton free menu for my husband .didn't realise it's a chain of brilliant restaurants. We have been to the one in Hull, which is also amazing, great service. Fantastic staff.foods great as well.

Eaten here a couple of times and really enjoyed the food and drinks. It's usually quite busy and can be noisy, clearly a popular place which means food can take up to 30mins. Really reasonable prices as well though and like that you can order with the QR code. Will definitely be back at some point!

Came in with my friend for brunch had the lounge breakfast (poached eggs) with salmon it was really good and a cold brew coffee it's good if your wanting something light to eat definitely will go again

Great place, daughters' favourite restaurant as so many different vegetarian options will go again only gave 4 for service as forgot on of my parties desserts.

I love this place the atmosphere is great, very relaxed. The staff go above an beyond for their customers and they have put on additional craft for the children over the Easter holidays. Couldn’t ask for a better place for food with children in glossop. Thanks x

Crazy awesome atmosphere, very much like a lounge bar, with great art filling the walls & some random animal heads hung high & quirky lighting! Great food, I had the avacado on toast, very tasty and not bland at all. Enjoyed a Frappe, although it was swimming in milk, it was delicious! (Just the way I like it!). Kids burgers were huge, & def filling!

Price is high for what you get and the menu seems to love avocado and beans etc. Drinks took ages and food was a long wait time too considering a weekday at 2pm. I tried it, I won't be going again. Staff on the all were lovely though and I like that it's dog friendly

We stopped here after a big hike for some food. Good menu for vegetarians with pleasant atmosphere. I ordered bang bang cauliflower, which sounded good. However, it was far too salty. 😖 I was so hungry but still couldn't finish it.. far too much soy sauce. My husband said the chicken Kiev burger was good but small, and the pickle didn't really go well with the garlic sauce.

It's a nice place, we were seated promptly but I wasnt too impressed with the childrens burger and chips at £6.05 being the same size as my burger and chips for £13.00.. ill get a kids one next time

This was just a spur of the moment visit. Having spent the afternoon out we were in need of a drink and somewhere for a quick bite. I googled cafe and everything in the area was closed apart from Costa. Not one of my favourites I'm afraid but we thought we'd just park up and have a walk into Glossop itself. I just happened to spot this little group of shops and pico lounge was at the end of the line. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our seats, she told us we could order on the app or at the till. We chose a drink and a cake and ordered at the till. It was brought to us within minutes by a very pleasant young lady. My flapjack was one of the best I've tasted in a long time. My only gripe was that my mocha could have been a bit warmer. It still tasted good thought. The price was right, service with a smile and if we are ever in the area again, we would definitely call in.

Loads of gluten free and vegan options. If you have dietary restrictions and like plenty of choice, then this is the place to be!
