Sherwood Manor in Nottingham

If you want a decent meal at a reasonable price.. This is your place! Lovely attentive friendly staff and exceptionally cooked food. We have not been for a long time our usual eatery is closed so we decided to try this for my hubby's birthday, and we were NOT dissapointed. We will definitely be going back, and I recommend you go too!! 😊

We held our father's celebration of life here at sherwood manor yesterday. The buffet food was fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff are fabulous. So welcoming and friendly, nothing was to much trouble they went above and beyond for all our family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The venue lovely and clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chilled and decent pub with decent food

Asked for no mayo on burger but it came with mayo on. They did change it but by the time this had been done the rest of us had almost finished eating.

Dessert is just delicious! Love is place.

I come to the manor most weekends, sports good, foods good and so are the team. The bar staff always make a fuss of my son.

The food at the sherwood manor was lovely as always, my family and me went for Sunday lunch, The waiting times were less than 10 minutes, brilliant service. A girl called Nikki served me, blonde curly hair, she was very friendly, professional and has excellent customer service skills. She couldn't do enough to cater for my son who has sensory issues with food. Great member of staff and lovely meal out.

I think this is one of the most affordable pub in all of Nottingham. It has a huge beer garden and a huge parking lot.

We are regulars here and always made to feel incredibly welcome. As a female it’s also a pub I’m comfortable sitting in alone. Good food, great staff. Wine in particular is always welcoming. It’s is a really pleasant place for breakfast or lunch and I can see why the regulars come.

Have been visiting the Sherwood Manor for years now and really enjoyed the scampi. Went on 2nd of October and found that they must have changed their supplier. Scampi were half the size and very disappointing. Another sad cut back.

First visit here, had booked but just found us a table. Food basic pub grub, tough steak. Lady behind the bar who served me was very helpful and friendly. Wheelchair accessible.

Took my mum and grandma for lunch last week, reserved a table near the door as grandma not great on her feet, table waiting, quick service by the team and and a great lunch, grandma loved it!

Served with a smile, speedy service, extremely helpful staff served by a lovely young lady - Wine. Thank-you, we will definitely be back.

We went here after a crematorium.the food was delicious. And was able to take the food home that wasn't eaten.

Had a really good night here and service was great. The manager gets an extra shoutout for her amazing personality. Was a large table of 20 and made us all feel welcome and looked after. We've come from London to see my sister who recently moved into the area. She was here before and she recommended me this place. Everything was good from the staff to the food and atmosphere. Our children even play at the claw machine and each of them win something.

Visited today for breakfast. Fantastic value. 2 big plate breakfasts, tea and coffee for only £7.89. Really tasty and filling food. Service was very quick. Everything was very clean. Not crowed at all as few people were here. Visited today to catch up with friends and watch the football. Great screens in bar to watch the game and enjoy over a pint of beer.

Go here for breakfast on my days off with my mum and it’s lovely staff are very helpful and no what we want as soon as we walk in the door. Worth a vist excellent price also

Had not been here for ages.... its still as good as it ever was. You can literally book a table and the food and pay with your phone. Takes all hassle away. I found my meal very nice indeed.

I ordered the salmon and payed for it to be told it had not defrosted yet so was told after I had to order some thing else do not visit this place bad food even though we were a party of 10 spending over £100

Really enjoyed the food and the drinks at the Manor, the service is excellent and the staff are polite and welcoming, ignore the bad reviews, this is a great family Pub, probably best in the area, certainly much better than Wetherspoons.

Great service from the waitress - not sure what her name was, but was young with braids in her hair. She was so accommodating to myself and my friend. Food was also good especially for the price

I came here for breakfast with my son after a GP appointment. The food was delicious, well priced and the pub was as clean bright and fresh. I love the new station for getting cutlery and sauces which saves me having to bother staff. Coming on to staff, apologies I didn't get names but the red haired young lady and a young lady with her brown hair in a high ponytail were outstanding. They were not around as we got up to leave but then came back and saw us going through the door and shouted bye to us! Bless them. Thanks everyone!

Food is great as always. Wayne top guy. Friendly approachable simply great waiter. Glasses could be a little bit cleaner as on 3 out of 5 occasions been a little bit dirty. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening until it came to myself wanting to use the disabled toilet which I found out off order I’m not able to use the other toilet as there’s no disabled facilities for me and my husband isn’t allowed into the ladies toilets to assist me, for a pub/eating place it should have all their facilities working properly it’s advised as having disabled facilities so they should be maintained regularly I’m very upset about this issue and I had to wait for a bus to get home as we don’t drive and now I’m sat on a bus bursting for the toilet and getting out of my wheelchair is going to be very difficult and frustrating due to my health issues and needing the toilet I’m going to struggle badly please get your disabled toilet fixed if anyone is thinking of going to the Sherwood manor and are disabled please check the toilets are working first I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I’m experiencing now

Really good service and the food was a bargain on the Saturday special. Management let us put a big table together for all the family to celebrate a joint birthday.

I have visited Sherwood Manor with two relatives a few times now, which is local and convenient. We are impressed with the value of the fresh food, and the staff are always welcoming and chatty. Our only criticism concerns the drinks - the glasses are sometimes murky - and the lack of stock - my brother-in-law has never yet managed to have the draught beer he would like, and my sister and I generally have to reselect wine because the chosen one isn’t available. However, we are generally delighted with our trips to Sherwood Manor every fortnight.

Sherwood Manor was a lovely and friendly place. We had a couple of drinks and sat outside. There was a charity fundraiser inside, so a fun atmosphere. Drinks were great value.

Went there on a Friday night for dinner with friends before going to an event together. We had just over an hour to order and eat. The table was prebooked. There was parking available. The pub was very busy. We had to wait at the bar to be shown to our table. The staff were polite but very busy. Once seated, we ordered from the app. Our drinks came 20 minutes after ordering, we only wanted bottles of water. 40min after ordering, one of us had to go to the bar and ask how much longer our food is going to be as we were running out of time. Our plates arrived straight away after asking. We ate in a hurry and left. The place is OK. The food was good. The staff are polite and helpful but very busy.

We usually just have drinks in this pub,decided last weekend to try full English was that good came back this weekend for the same with black pudding being Scottish was tasty ,the manageress is always very welcoming and the staff are very friendly well worth a visit 😀

Fantastic food and service. Booked at short notice and they were very helpful. Party of 8 with ages from 12 to 96. All different choices of meals. The food was hot and delicious when it arrived for everybody. My compliments to the chef here who is obviously very skilled and cares about food! Would highly recommend.

My friend and I usually go on Fridays for their “buy 1 burger get 1 free” BEST thing ever! If you love burgers, don't mind having a HUGE size, love saving money ;) then you HAVE to visit there. I have to warn tho that you may not enjoy the burgers alone cos they're BIG, so go with someone. Comes with side chips and onion ring. I usually have the ‘Quadzilla’ option on the menu. Has layers of beef, fried crispy chicken, bacon and cheese. Loads of meat!! That is what's on my picture. We buy 1 of it and get 1 free. There are other options, but this is our favourite. You buy a drink that costs minimum of £3. We spend total of £10 per person including a glass of cola to get what's on my plate. That's super cost effective! I look forward to Fridays cos of that :)

Usually a decent pub, been going here 8 or so years. Clean, most of the staff are friendly not the cheapest pub, but not the most expensive, looking at £3.39 for a dark fruits. Can't comment on food but they sell a lot of it.

The pub was clean, drinks nice and the staff friendly and attentive, however the food wasn’t the best. We’ve been several times previously and unfortunately have noticed quite a decline in the quality of the food the last few times we have been. It’s really disappointing as it is somewhere we used to love going with family.

I really like this pub. The interior is cosy and inviting. The staff are really lovely especially high chair who is attentive, warm and welcoming and provided great service not only to me but consistently to all customers that I was within ear shot of. The food is regular pub food which I enjoyed, I had a burger. I will be coming back here in the future especially since I feel very welcomed.
