Stopped off at this nice little chippy today and I was greeted with a nice warm welcome by the server was very polite and made me feel very welcome. I had a small chips and gravy with a barm cake or bread cake, whatever it is, you call them round this neck of the woods, It came to around £9 in total which I thought was good value for money the chips were great little bit brown but not too overcooked just like your mother used to make at home , The fish was a good size and was lovely and white inside that was nice and I had some chip scraps as well . Would definitely recommend this.

i think that the prices here are outrages and personal when i was walking there i was geting builled by a guy called alex and i did now like that and when i walked into the fish and chip shop i was not wellcomed with a hello they said to me ayup love and i am not a woman and that already made my day worse and allso the food was not good at all for the price. i allso think that there was not a lot of parking for me to put my automoblibe . not very nice

the employee that worked there 10-12 months ago with short blonde greasy hair kept taking my chips as he was preparing my food

Cracking box of fish and chips. As good as you get in most places on the coast. Ignore the silly reviews about price. Yes, fish and chips is more expensive than it used to be, what isn’t? They still have to pay the bills like any other business. Will be back again soon!

Myself and my husband visited this chips shop 6 weeks since and it was that nice we’ve even travelled 40 mins for our teas tonight , absolutely beautiful once again , will defo be coming back again . Nice to meet nice staff and owner too , thankyou once again

Wow just wow!!!...absolutely amazing fish n chips...I always travel to this little gem of a place and it always delivers and never disappoints on flavour...freshly cooked as you wait with friendly staff and a good atmosphere . Try it ..you won't be disappointed 😥

£9 for this and can of pop, not nice, not warm, 2 other chippys in the village would recommend them over this

Well what can I say. First time trying here and I was appalled by the price. Yes cost of living has gone up but come on, you're a chippy, not a restaurant. £13.25 for 1 fish, small chips and a small curry sauce! Why? I eat at Whitbys last week in Doncaster and it was the same price but I got a bigger fish and was sat in a restaurant. Gas and electric is coming down so reflect that in your prices and stop abusing the system. Never again. And the fish must have been from lunchtime as it was cold! *Update to your pathetic response* What's your reason for food being cold? I asked for small portion of chips and got charged for regular. Why? How can you justify restaurant prices for a takeaway? Most comments say you're overpriced which you are. Again, abusing the system. £3+ just for regular chips. Wow!! Got to laugh at this alone. Hence why I'll never be coming back. I should have took notice as to why you was empty on a Friday tea time! Very poor!!!

Ok so this was the first and last time I use the chipy. For 1 chips and sausage £7.60 this is a crazy price for what I can only describe reheated chips that look and taste awful. See pic attached. There is on street parking and space for a couple of cars off street in front of the shop. Before ordering I would check the price before hand. No one else in the chipy, this is normally I sign to stay away.

Decent quality food. However, the portion sizes for the price are appalling. £7 for large battered sausage and chips? Im not sure if everyone in harworth have had gastric band surgery, but I would not call the portion large.

We were looking for a fish and chip shop in the area and chanced upon this one. We had two small fish n chips which were beautiful. Lovely chips, crispy batter on the fish . Far better than our local in a Cornish seaside town!

Freshly cooked fish, tastes great, reasonable price and great staff. Can't ask for much more really.

We had a four hour journey to make and needed to eat. We came off the M! and found this Restaurant/Fish and Chip Shop and we were soooo glad we did. Without doubt we enjoyed the best fish and chips in many, many years. the two guys who were serving were great as well, friendly and chatty. After eating our meal nearby I actually went back to the shop to thank the two guys for such a great meal. There were a couple of tables and chairs but I would not really call this a restaurant - just the best fish and chips ever. Thanks again guys.

Great fresh fish and chips, friendly service and always so welcoming. They don’t keep loads of fish sat there and cook to order which is great. Prices are really reasonable and I will always go back as the portions are big and good value. Certainly tasty and fresh food

Absolutely fantastic chips shop after not eating fish and chips for years due to giving me indigestion… finally the fresh fish and clean cooking oil makes my chip shop experience amazing, that topped off with the friendly kind and helpful staff 10 out of 10.Highly recommend gorgeous food and very reasonable pricing. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Fast taking pre orders when queueing during a rush. Batter is light. Fish is succulent. I prefer my chips triple fried but these were spot on for standard. I would recommend highly. Pay a visit if you're nearby any day of the week.

Disappointed with my visit today. £7.10 for Cod and only two scoops of chips. I understand fish isn’t cheap but it could have been made worthwhile with another scoop of chips. Probably £6.00 worth at most. I won’t be back.

Food was reasonable quality. Service was lacklustre and not very friendly. Quite expensive for fish and chip takeaway. There is another nearby which is much less expensive and good quality

Forget it!! The chip shop isn't open on a Friday!! Had to go elsewhere... Always had good food from here - but hit and miss as to when it is open!

Maybe an off day but we had some chips and various accompaniments this weekend and were left a bit disappointed. It was certainly fresh, tasted okay and the young lad behind the counter was nice enough however I had 2 problems. First, it was really greasy, the papers were swimming in it by time we got home and all chips stuck together. Second, it was really expensive for a village chippy, setting you back nearly 7 quid just for take out fish and chips. I wouldn't say not to go, but wouldn't to recommend. Try Whitbys in Doncaster or take a trip to Upton.

We go here once a week from work for our fish and chip day, the food is always nice and always hot. Lovely lady behind the counter nothing too much trouble (I always ask for lots of vinegar and I always get lots!) she even remembered us after just one visit!. The shop is always clean and tidy and even has somewhere you can sit outside. I would have no hesitation in recommending them..

This is a takeaway environment that is popular with locals and passing visitors and work people alike. Friendly staff and good quality food. Worth the trip.
