Ok pub grub but needs a desperate makeover now it's looking tired and dated.

Food was ok , staff were busy but friendly enough, it's ok for a quick bite to eat

Popped in for breakfast this morning with my daughter first time eaten here so hence why leaving review Ordered a eggs Benedict and a traditional breakfast and two pints lime and soda can to £11.49 Breakfast came out promptly looked nice and tasted lovely The ham on my eggs Benedict was lovely also my daughter said her breakfast was nice too Great value good produce Enjoyed it

One of the smaller Spoons I’ve been in despite that it’s in the 2024 Good Beer Guide - on the Andersons Red Ale available in all Spoons for St Patrick’s Day. Be sure to look down at the carpet - a Wetherspoon classic 👍🏻

It was Thursday afternoon and wasn't too busy. My wife had bbq chicken melt which she said was good. I had 3 small plates of a pizza, loaded chips and Southern fried chicken strips. They were nice but there was just too much. But at £14+ it was a bargain. Nice pub to eat. One thing I noticed was the cleanliness. It wasn't like your typical spoons with mess everywhere.

The Liquorice gardens are very nice and the staff are very friendly we had a beautiful meal in the Liquorice gardens we will call again

Out with the walking team and called for dinner

Stood at the bar ready to order food and was ignored. Bar staff made eye contact and then said nothing. I turned around at one point and saw people queuing at the end of the (fairly long) bar. I joined the end of this queue which I hadn't seen because what kind of place queues people through the tables when there's a full length bar? Was eventually served and then when I was walking away I saw another lady being ignored cause she didn't realise she was stood in the wrong place. Don't mind waiting my turn at all but don't ignore people, direct them to the queue!

Meal was lovely, wide range on the menu Good value, liked that there was a drink included in meal.

Staff are amazing, can't do enough for you,food is lovely and tasty, the toilet is lovely and clean abs the best witherspoon by far.

Staff were all very friendly. Not too busy which was perfect for someone socially awkward. I will say the portions are stingy and drinks heavily watered down so not best value.

Needs a good cleaning and the decor needs updating

Table for sixteen, lots of individual orders, but everyone got what they ordered, we cleared them out of ribbey on steak night.

Not the best spoons in the world, but hey cheap beer and food, what more do you want? Apparently it's got award winning toilets too!

Staff are very friendly and quite attentive but the security team have 'power' issues, I was asked to leave after 2 pints for apparently being sick, honestly I was well etc but was spoken to like I was causing trouble and made to feel if they want to free up space they will bully you into leaving while ignoring any of the actual problem customers making noise etc, food is all from a freezer warmed up in microwave and burgers are normal cremated or black , eat elsewhere but drinking is fine if you're allowed to that is

Was refused service and accused of being sick in the toilet sink. They where adamant it was me and when I said it wasn’t they called me a liar and said they saw me on cctv. Which is impossible as there aren’t even cameras in the toilets so not sure how that works out. Someone got it wrong and jumped to conclusions as I must of been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bare in mind I was one of the few people not drinking in the pub at the time as I’ve been working on my sobriety. It’s all water off a ducks back to me, I just hate being accused of something I haven’t done and would never do. Anyway, keep up the good work. You never know Mr Weatherspoon might give you a pay rise eventually.

Busy , traditional Wetherspoons. Know one you know them all. Helpful staff,,good vfm. Slightly dated Interior. It is what it is. Central to town. Good parking nearby. After 1800 Sundays free all day in nearby off road car parks as well . Use the app to order table service. £1.89 a pint of Worthington s ... What's not to like. £1.49 all day coffee or tea !. Remembrance day2023 - busy,busy busy. Dealing with it admirably ... Well-done to all the staff...

Stumbled across this establishment yesterday as we we're looking for somewhere for lunch , have too say was very impressed with the layout , staff , quality of food and atmosphere, the toilets were very nice and clean too , overall a lovely experience, definitely recommend 👏 👏

Overall is good including food and service.

Was quite hungry after doing a weight cut for a boxing match I had traveled from Ireland for. Didn't take time to look at the breakfast menu and ordered the traditional breakfast. When it came down there were 8 slices of bacon and 3 eggs as well as the normal hash brown beans etc...... Couldn't fault the portion sizes. Service was great too if a little judgemental. But will definitely be back x

Can't fault it, I had the ultimate burger with chips and onion rings. My wife had scampi and chips with onion rings. Would recommend to anyone for a cheap meal.

Once again another good visit to a spoons. Visited late Monday afternoon it wasn't busy. I had the ultimate burger which came with onion rings and chips. My mother and father in law treated my wife and I to supper here and we had a very pleasant experience. I had the katsu chicken breast curry and I would say that the chicken was a little dry, but all the other meals, I am told, were all quite tasty.

We ate here on Saturday lunchtime and it was good. I ordered the half chicken which I love and my husband a burger, the meals in Weatherspoons are great value and do what they say on the tin as they are not gourmet dining but are filling and tasty. The pun itself was busy but there were plenty of tables and as usual great customer service.

Had a good breakfast. Typical spoons what you would expect. Egg was little overdone but everything else was okay. Coffee machines easy to use.

Typical Weatherspoons menu. Very attentive staff. Food hot, presented well. Throughly enjoyed the meal. Will call in again when in the area. Disabled parking just outside the front door, Moor parking to the side of the building.

Nice classic witherspoon, clean and nice but food took a while

Lovely Spoons. Breakfast was great.. but no parking outside the building. There's is a public car park 2 mins walk away, which was ok for the party I was with but I have disabled ppl in my family and had they been with us it wouldn't have been so easy, although there are disabled spaces right outside, obviously there is no guarantee they would be free.

Sat in outside area quick drink whilst waiting for bus, good location

You can't go wrong with a Weatherspoons tea. I had American Buger & Chips and husband had 8" pizza and was plenty for a light tea. Excellent value for money, really prompt and perfect every time. The lady that served me was really welcoming and friendly. I particular like this Weatherspoons because of the booths. A lot less intimidating but to he fair it is a friendly venue anyway so not end of world if I didn't get a booth. We've been several times over many years and it's great every time. Would deffo recommend and we will go again too.

Not been in for some time but This place is desperately needing a refurb

We ordered a breakfast. You'd think from a spoons, what could go wrong. The toast was burnt and when asked for a replacement the staff looked at us funny and walked off. The eggs were still with white runny and the beans were cold. The sausages were srivalled up and it was a horrible breakfast. The place was also quite mucky

First time in this wetherspoons, had a large vegetarian breakfast,my son the large breakfast with black pudding. Everything excellent.

Ten of us attended the liquorice Gardens yesterday. Staff were unfriendly. One meal missing and my friend had an hair running all the way through her fish. When complaint was made chef came out, long blonde hair no hat or hair net not even tied back absolutely shocking 😒 🤢

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother and sister,and also my mums friend,they went into your establishment on the 19th May 2023,at 12 30pm,and the reason they have one star is for the cleanliness of the eating area,my deaf sister ordered her meal first and a drink,so she ordered chicken burger with out a bread bun and salad and chips,then my mother ordered hers which was fish and chips,and then mums friend also asked my mum to order hers at the same time,which was chicken burger and chips and a latte,so they paid and then waited for their meals to come,when the meals came out,my sisters was chicken no bun,salad but no chips,my mum was as she ordered,then my mums friend got the wrong meal brought out,which was a cheese burger and chips,when mum explained she didn't order that ,the waitress said this is what came through on the ticket,when mum said no she didn't order that,obviously the waitress on the till did not repeat what my mum ordered,so they thought the order would be right ,so theywent to sit down and wait for the meals,and then the waitress was really snotty to my mum and said she wouldn't change her friends meal or get a refund they walked out with no food for her friend, and the waitress didnt even ask if they would like to see the manager ,i wouldn't recomend your restuarant to any one,very poor customer service

We come here a lot so I have based this review on our overall experience over recent years but also to make people aware of a ridiculous policy we encountered this week. I don't know if this particular staff member was having a bad day or if this is genuinely a new thing but it was very poor. We came for a family meal due to celebrating a grandchild birthday so were ordering a lot of food for everyone. We got confused and forgot to stipulate what drink we wanted for a couple of the meals. We realised just after we had paid and asked for the drinks before we had left the bar, just to be told "No. You should have asked for them and now it's too late" These meals come with a drink so should not involve anything other than pouring the missing drinks surely? In the past we have always been asked what drink we would like when ordering a meal with a drink so this just seemed utterly ridiculous. The woman was borderline rude and just shrugged when we questioned this saying it was our fault and now it's too late. I have still given this a 4 star review as we have always had good service before from most members of staff (including the one in question), the food is generally consistent and we usually enjoy ourselves when we come but this new policy (if it is indeed a policy) is terrible customer service. A polite reminder is all that is needed if people forget to stipulate a drink surely?

As usual in Wetherspoons we had a great breakfast. We were in the area so just had to come here, it's very friendly and staff helpful and we enjoyed our food so will certainly be back again when in the area, thanks guys

Ok cheap beer it is what it is, but the food is sub standard even for ws x had the fish and chips and the mixed grill poor, wouldn't eat here again

I love. My favorite pub in Worksop. Very English. I visit every time I'm in town. Nice service. Purely. Always fun. A large selection of alcohol and beers. I love this place !

Was staying at the Travelodge nearby and decided to go for a walk where I found the local Wetherspoons looks good outside and very spacious, the inside had lots of tables to choose and very spacious, food was reasonable had the spicy half chicken some of my chips where still frozen, the staff were friendly.

Decent enough for spoons, the food is particularly good.

Saturday night as a family we thought drinks and meal here . £11 for half chicken and some chips was shocking . Others had fish and chips look good . Lots of food was gone and sauces had gone . To top it of my son was searched for drugs in the toilet . Just because he was a long time in cubicle and they notice on the camera in the toilet . It's gone down hill for food and that's a shame .

Food was lovely and price was great. Excellent pint, included in with the meal. Was really busy but still got quick service and prompt table check to see if everything was ok. 5*.

Friendly place , welcomed by staff and locals who will have a chat if you want too, but will leave you alone if you don't, plenty of seating. They have outdoor space for those who smoke or vape. Food is good basic pub food, hot drinks just £1.45 for ×5. Overall a nice place

Great refillable coffees, hot chocolate and tea. Food is verified and reasonably priced with offers on throughout weekdays. Hardworking staff helpful and polite.

Went there on new years eve it was dead and the staff were taking down Christmas trimmings before midnight. Not impressed.

Always clean Nd tidy presentable staff with welcoming atmosphere

This was our first visit in 3 years. It was very busy, but we managed to get a table. The table was messy with old stained menus, spilt drinks, and odd peas scattered about. We ordered our food and had to wait 45 min for it to be plonked down with no pleasantries. The all-day brunch was tepid. I ordered a burrito salad to then be told there was no mayo. When we were ready to leave, we looked around to see at least 15 tables full of dirty plates and loads of glasses littering the tables. It's not a good look when people are coming in to eat. What a disappointment, we are fans of Weatherspoons, and we try to find them wherever we go. Sorry to say we won't be rushing back.

Great place. Great friendly staff. But poor food yesterday. Cod, or was it goldfish, not appetizing, partner's steak inedible (took it home for the dog!) Shame, not up to usual standard.

Very conveniently placed near town centre. Lots of tables and well spaced unlike some pubs. Prices are fair and we took advantage of meal/drink deal ( bottomless hot drinks) for £7:15 each. Decent portion, quick service, child friendly. Will go again.
