The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in Edinburgh and Lothian

Delicious and as good a grilled bbq selection if not better than I have had abroad. Plus amazing dips and bread for starters!

We stumbled upon this while walking a little bit besides the main tourist roads. (Still crowdy). The waitress was very knowledgeable to the point where I mistook her for a Mexican native (sorry) The elotes were very nice, the tortillas too. The guacamole wasn't that good but I can imagine it's hard to find good avocado in Scotland in may. The drinks were very good as well as the salsa and the quesadilla which my wife had. They also added grilled vegetables without a question asked. The hot sauce variety was also very good. Can only recommend!

Normally have a very good meal here. Chicken liver parfait, Halibut and side of boiled potatoes. Biscuits and cheese to finish. All tasted fine and well presented. However later that night very bad gastric upset. Alright I should have reported it on checking out but at 0410 I had other things on my mind such as getting to Edinburgh Airport to catch a flight at 0720

We had a lovely evening and a good chat over a few drinks. The restaurant was buzzing and we received excellent service from Isla. We will definitely be back!!!

Really delicious food and the staff are so helpful- we weren't sure what to order as it was our first time trying Korean BBQ and the staff member so was so polite and happy to talk us through the menu. Will be back

I really wish I could give no stars because that’s what this place deserves. They served us out of date milk, food was inedible - pizza was disgusting, steak pie had no steak just undercooked broccoli and fat with a bit of gravy, the hunters chicken was overcooked and covered in an overly sweet bbq sauce. When we tried to raise this we were met with attitude, threats and the manager thinks it’s acceptable to dig up false information on people when they try and make a complaint? Absolutely ridiculous, we won’t be stepping foot in this place ever again. The food is disgusting and the so called managers are rude and so unprofessional. He even mailed me privately on Facebook to try and intimidate me to take my posts down.

This used to be the miraj it is now abida and the food is totally rubbish it is the worst curry ive ever had and ive had some bad ones. The taste is pure pepper heat no taste of spicesl.

Popped in early Sunday evening. Food as good as always. Very nice friendly serving staff. Our burgers arrived in quick time and were perfectly cooked. Marked down atmosphere only because it was very quiet. A great place for food and a catch up with family or friends.

One of the best grill places in Edinburgh. We went as a family of 14 to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had toddlers to elderly and they catered for all with differing taste palates. The moment we stepped in we were made to feel very special. The decor was very welcoming and glamorous. All the staff from the management to waiters could not do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food with excellent service. Thank you to the team for making my dad’s birthday memorable and keep up the great work. 😊

Came here to try one of their craft beers and went for the White Chocolate and Raspberry Sour Beer.... wow! It's possibly the best sour beer I have ever had! I could actually taste the white chocolate in it, and the fruity flavour went so well with it. Highly recommend for craft beer lovers!

Estuve en Nando’s unas cuantas veces después de un jolly de Costco, y para ser honesto, ¿no es la primera vez que los artículos en el menú han estado ‘agotados’? -La razón principal de la clasificación de 2 estrellas. ¿Esperaba probar la nueva “hamburguesa de pollo” la anunciada en el tablón a medida que entra pero agotada! ? (Por qué anunciarlo si no lo tienes) Y el momento dorado de la comedia fue el, supongo que el gerente diciendo el nuevo comienzo para asegurar que las sillas en las mesas vacías estén metida y recta, y que los menús pequeños en las mesas estén orientados de cierta manera... mibi que ella llene los saleros vacíos mientras llamas a tu proveedor para que te repongan el menú sería apreciado más por los clientes que un asiento entrecerrado... .
