Comida rápida diferente, para comer algo caliente sin gastar mucho dinero. Los menús combinados son recomendables, tienen el bocadillo con la salsa, patatas y la bebida.

This pulled pork is okay, but if you are from the states, Texas Roadhouse is much better so id skip this spot. Go to mackers instead. If you aren’t from the states, it’s a good sandwich

The pork was super tender and flavourful. We both had the small buns and they were both execellent. Highlight of the day!

Much better than expected! I’ve had authentic North Carolina pulled pork and Texas pork, and I wasn’t expecting Edinburgh pork to be anywhere close. I was wrong. Oink was deliciously unique. I got the Oink sandwich with sage and onion stuffing and homemade chili jam. It was fantastic. The shortbread was really good as well. Highly recommended.

En nuestra estancia en Edimburgo, estuvimos dos veces comiendo en Oink. Los bocadillos estaban espectaculares, la carne super sabrosa y las salsas caseras muy ricas. Bastante bien de precios. El Oink de Victoria estaba bastante concurrido, pero no hicimos más de 5 minutos de cola, y nos comimos el bocadillo en Grass Market al sol. El Oink de Hannover St (muy cerca de Princess St) estaba bastante más tranquilo y nos comimos el magnífico bocadillo allí mismo y el personal fue muy amable. Muy muy recomendable.

OINK, archiconocido sitio de cerdo asado, carne desmigada con guarniciones y salsas...probamos el clásico con salsa de manzana, haggies y extra de cortezas (crackling) acompañado con una buena pinta de cerveza, atienden rápido y bien de precio. Estuvimos en el local de Canongate, a diferencia del local de Victoria Street, tiene mesas y no está tan saturado. Un clásico que hay que probar.

Small storefront with limited seating, but the food was very good with interesting options to dress your sandwich. The shortbread in the shape of a pig was especially charming (and also delicious).

La camarera poco amable y poco empática. El local estaba lleno . No podíamos comer en ningún taburete y nos pidió q nos fuésemos a la calle. Le dije está lloviendo y me dijo q le daba igual. Le respondí " claro ese no es tu problema". Debí poner una queja.No volveré a visitarlos.

Stopped off here for some late lunch after visiting the castle. Unfortunately the experience was mediocre at best. I had a pulled pork medium sized brown bun with haggis and apple sauce. The meat was nice but a bit chewy, didn't see any sign of the haggis. Paid just over £10 for that and a bottle of coke. There is very little seating inside so found a nearby bench. Would probably try one of the other shops (there are three in Edinburgh) to see if the experience was the same but not in a hurry.

Pésimo lugar, pésima manera de aprovechar la carne de cerdo, es una carne desmechada de cerdo cocinada por horas en horno, sin embargo el sabor es insípido, no sabe a nada, una manera de desperdiciar una de las mejores carnes, el pan es un pan común y corriente, las papas que acompañan el menú son de paquete muy normales. El precio no es el mas barato y creo que por lo mismo puedes comer en otro sitio algo de mejor sabor. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Really well made buns with pulled pork and mix of your choice. I would highly recommend the haggis pulled pork. The one with sage is also good, but haggis burger is amazing 😊

This is perfect to hold you over till dinner. The pork is tasty and tender, The crackiling yummy. 2of us had haggis on the sandwich, one plain, and 2 had the sage and onion dressing smear. We were all happy, it is just a flavoring to sandwich and not overwhelming. The sauce we liked the bbque and the chili jam. the bread is pillowy. This is a showstopper sandwich add it into your day

Best pork sandwich I’ve had. The sage and onion stuffing with mustard sauce was amazing and the the meat was very quality but it’s a very small portion for a high price. I would recommend to go with the biggest option to get full as I had the medium ‘’oink’’ size and had to go back to get another one which was £16 in total. Picture included is the second time I’ve had it without the bread. (Ignore the croissant that’s from another shop)

The Pork is delicious, lovely & succulent the crackling is out of this world. Staff are polite and friendly the only problem we encountered was a lack of chairs we got a table but it had no chairs 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend

Super tasty, went for the sage stuffing and mustard mayo and it was great. Would definitely go back again. We went around 11am and it wasn't too busy, even got a seat but walked by around 2pm and the queue was down the street.

Oh dear, a shop that has its whole reputation on selling Pork. And yet had run out of the best bit, the crackling. When asked the staff member said he was sorry but they always sell out of the crackling by mid morning!!!! A pork shop without crackling is a bit like a pub with no beer…. But pointless really!!! Meat was ok, a bit bland, stuffing was runny and soggy, Good concept, poorly executed I’m afraid. Keep your money and try elsewhere.

I tried a medium roll (called the ‘oink’) I had bbq sauce and haggis stuffing, The roll was very warming and lovely and Smokey! I would recommend here for a quick bite to eat.

Walked past this place 10 years ago and kicked myself for not going in…. That’s because it was closed at that hour of the morning!!! Today I went in and enjoyed a piglet roll with crackle with some sage and onion seasoning….very pleasant snack but not amazing. Still worth a visit and a great concept….oink oink!! 🐷

Food was okay, the pork had no flavour definitely needed seasoning. Disappointed because I've been wanting to try this place for a while.

Me and my partner visited after coming across the shop by chance. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the menu was good value for money. We ordered 2 oink meal deals. The food was great value for money, only £9.75 for a roll, hot chocolate and a shortbread. The pork itself was moist so couldn't fault that. The only gripe I would have is staff members wearing gloves to handle food, but not removing the gloves when taking payments whether that be cash or card, before going back and preparing the next food order.

It's a small place but we were lucky enough to be able to eat inside. We ordered several Oink and they are quite good and at a good price. The meat is very soft but could have more flavor. The combination with haggis gives the sandwich a much better flavor.

I ordered the oink with haggis. The oink was bland but the haggis was amazing. I found the oink very filling however I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The picture is not aesthetically pleasing.

Oink is good. BUT. It would be much better if, as the Bavarians do just give you solid slices of pork WITH crackling if there is any left. Rather than having to pay EXTRA for a bit of hard fat! What's that all about except to make extra money out of us! Slices of pork are much more enjoyable than churned up gooy meat with no bite! Not eating here again.

Perfect for a foodie on the go grab sandwich in Edinburgh. We had one grunter and one piglet sized portion. I was a little suprised at how small the piglet size was however it is great for a taster of the place- go for a larger size for a actual meal. The extra fillers were also delicious and great choice of home made sauces.

Rarely have we had such a great fast food experience as we did at Oink, Victoria Street, Edinburgh. It is basically a Pullet pork from the suckling pig, which you can even see from the window. "Piglet" (small) is way too small but Oink (medium) was just the right size. White bread with Chili/Tomato, sage and onion was just wonderful. Partly the very hard rind is issued with - not entirely without risk, as partly very very hard.

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the nearby Hollyrood Palace (Royal Palace). Seating is limited but the pork sandwiches are wonderful! You must try Oink! if you are in Edinburgh. The smallest sandwich was more than enough for lunch so ask about sizes before ordering.

Not too expensive. Big rolls and plenty of meat. Bring your own water or juice as it is expensive to buy. Good for a stop over for lunch .
