Just left the restaurant just now, it’s Fantastic food was amazing we got 3 different curries and they we all amazing got starters and they were the same. The place just been renegades aswell top marks best restaurant I’ve been to in a while.

Went here with my partner and it was absolutely lovely. Delicious food, very filling, and very kind attentive staff. Would highly recommend.

Worst food i have ever eaten. The most rude old man who was taking order. Not only served us wrong order but very tasteless food too. Food was too too spicy that we could not even eat it and had to leave it as it is. Mutton had smell in it and the prices were crazy for the most tasteless food. No heating was on. Very cold inside. Water had a weird taste as if it was tap water. We were with a baby and even on asking not to give us spicy food they did and not even our baby was unable to eat anything so did we. Had to leave hungry. Crazy prices zero food quality and taste. Rudest manager ever. I will never recommend anyone to go there. This branch should be closed. Poor overall.

Great flavour and good amount of food. I can suggest lamb chops and Lamb Nihari good quantity and quality. Good service.

Our first visit, great food and service from Nargis

Cold and bare inside. Staff member was on the phone when he pointed us to a table and did not even say a hello. Was handed the bill right after mains without even asking if we wanted dessert. And to top it off, saw a kitchen staff member use the bathroom and leave without washing his hands.

Love this place go there regularly food is scrumptious and reasonably well priced aswell doesn't sell alcohol but there very happy for you to bring your own that's what we do yum yum

Food is good, pricy but delicious

The karahi was ok, but meat was stale, overpriced drinks , faluda was nothing but rose syrup and milk mixed on the spot the ice cream was missing from falooda, just like melted pellets of cream were floating thats when it was served

I went to the restaurant today for the first and last time. Cold inside. There are no alcoholic beverages on the drinks menu. The staff said you can bring your own :o) I ordered a steak fried medium, but it came draggy and dry. After more than 10 minutes, the staff brought the second steak, which was raw inside. The meat didn't look fresh. Why do they have steaks on their menu if they don't know how to prepare them?! I got up and left. I do not recommend! A comedy, not a restaurant.

Aroundb10 people went there for drinks(BYOB) and dinner. The management insisted that we order the main course along with starters. As they have 25 people coming in the next half an hour or so. Food is ok, not that great.

Can't find a fault, great food and service, would highly recommend the mixed grill, will definitely be returning.

Service was good. Nice guy serving. But was freezing cold inside. Not what you’d expect from Kebabish. Glasgow Kebabish is much nicer inside. Food was ok. Lassi was out a bottle and not fresh. Over all experience was 4/10. Below average. Also 3 little flies kicking around our table. They need a insect blue light to kill off flies.

It's just next to my place where I am living right now. I attended the dinner party from my room mate and we were 7 in count. The foods are awesome and the old man who served us is great and Jolly to serve you ehat you wish for. We brought outside wine with us and they served the wine glasses also as they don't have bar counter. All together it was nice experiences , will visit again

The absolute kings of mass catering will happily accommodate large groups.

This is by far the worst restaurant we have been to in Edinburgh. Ordered shrimp and the guts were still in. The chicken kebab seemed rock hard (at least it wouldn’t kill you from salmonella) and the fish was more of an onion dish than a fish one. Honestly, we came here thinking it’d be a fast service, but this was not fast, not good and not cheap. Highly not recommended

Kebab is good. Can't go wrong with that.

I come back here regularly for the amazing food, service and company. A relative-unknown but must-visit restaurant in Edinburgh.

My wife and I are regulars (weekly!) to this splendid place. The food is made with real care, the restaurant is spacious, and the owner is more than generous to every guest. Highly recommended!

Had to wait half an hour for collection. Food was pretty bad! Lamb chops, skewers of lamb was chewy and hard. No flavour but raw meat.

Myself and partner came here months ago to try the food. He loves an Indian, I have a peanut allergy so have always felt on edge trying these sort of places especially since I took a reaction to an Indian a few years back. I let them know about my worry, but was catered for no problem. The manager/owner always looks after us! We have brought our 6 year old a few times too, he absolutely loves her and always makes sure she has free ice cream after she's eaten! The service is like no other. 5/5. The food is amazing, lovely atmosphere and family friendly. All the staff remember us when we come back which makes you feel part of the family too! 😁

First impressions, the place is run down! Customer service wasn’t great. When placing the order, waitress wasn’t helpful, but then another waiter saw to us, who understood our requirements & the dish was nice. Menu needs updating, as it didn’t mention chapatti, even though they do this. Personally wouldn’t visit again.

Really disappointed there service, need serious attention to the authority!! as front people are so rubbish, careless and don't even know their basics. Food was just okay. Not recommended at all waste of money 😒 😕

Go there and enjoy the best ever BBQ food in Edinburgh

Veg food was not at all good, non veg was good apparently. The person who was taking order was very rude. We were group of 12 so it takes time to decide on dishes and we were hungry so wanted to order starters first, but that guy was adamant on taking starters and main course order together. While we were still deciding food items, that rude person came and snatched the menu cards from our hands and tables. Mind you restaurant was not at all crowded and most of the tables were empty.

Ordered chicken jalfrezi, the worse dish I have ever eaten, coming from Yorkshire I know what a Jalfrezi is, this was full of vegetables, 60% peppers and onions, the kebabs were tasteless, I hardly ate any of it, wasted £33!!! This is certainly not the typical Pakistani food!

Love this place. The mixed grill is amazing.

I have been here dozens of times and the food is always incredible and reasonably priced. Staff are really friendly and attentive. The environment is very relaxed and informal. The grilled lamb dishes especially are delicious and most other places can't compete, so I keep coming back

First of all the flavours where nice no complaints there. Portions were small normally I have leftovers but tonight I was left hungry. My partners t bone was a massive disappointment the delivery was late after ordering 3 hours in advance. Will not be returning for a delivery here due to the kids Portions we had delivered. Such a shame is this used to be our favourite place to eat 3/10

Great service and amazing food!

I had the mixed grill. Fresh, tasty, juicy, and spicy. And the garlic naan is amazing.

One of the best South Asian places outside my country I have tried. The food is very good and well made. The staff are kind and friendly. Prices I believe average to the place. Their biryani and tendori chicken are very delicious and tasty, the spiceness level is perfect. I recommend the biryani and miz grills. Their mango lasi is also good and theybhave a jar which is good for sharing.

Great food but poor service and hospitality. On 08 March around 2150 hours, I rang the restaurant to book my table for 2215 hours. I know and I understand that it was a bit late so I placed my order over the phone. The restaurant opens until 2300 hours. We arrived on time at 2215 hours and as expected at this time on weekdays the restaurant was empty with no other customers. We were waiting for a minute to be greeted and staff came over and was not welcoming at all and said you are the guys who placed mixed grilled order and took us to a dirty table with no cutleries and glasses set up. I can see the entire restaurant was set up nicely with flowers on every table with cutleries, napkin and glasses but we were given a table which I believe is a staff table next to the till. I appreciate and understand there was no other customers and staff may be wanted to go home but restaurant does advertise to open until 2300 hours and I did place an order over the phone, so it is convenient for the chef and staff. But we felt we were treated like a second class customer and pushed us to enjoy our meal on a staff table and not even asked table preference near to the window or anywhere. No one came to our table to check for a food satisfaction instead they were all standing and talking in the kitchen. Would they do the same hospitality, if we arrived in the early evening? As we paid the same money not any less to be treated like this way. On a positive note, the food was good. I am sorry I did not leave any tips for the staff for this reason.

Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. There are plenty of seats. It's a nice and clean restaurant. I was so amazed at the taste of KO food, and then I forgot that I ordered a salad with my meal, and I don't let my salads slip away that easily 😅 KO, you owe me a double salad when I return again to Edinburgh.

Very busy staff seemed very flustered and unorganised

I have eaten from kebabish since it opened and it has always been a good experience well cooked portions of delicious food at a reasonable price. Tonight was the worst experience I have had a complete nightmare to order on the phone the person taking the order found the noisiest part of the restaurant to take the order. Having repeated the order four or five times they repeated the order a last time but due to the noise I couldn’t hear completely as a result items were missing from the order. The quantity of the food was also disappointing for the price. I feel like I’ve paid twice the price for half the food !

I love Kebabish and consistently have incredible meals there. The Nehari is impeccable, and any of their lamb dishes are out of this world. The staff are attentive and really warm and friendly, and the atmosphere of kebabish is always warm, joy filled and welcoming. It is by far my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. I would recommend to anyone - and have regularly!

Filthy cutlery with greasy stains and dried on food, greasy plates with other peoples finger prints on them. Food was lovely though. Updated 26/12/2022 food is lovely, service was excellent but the music was a bit loud. The cutlery, plates and glasses were all spotless.

One of the best Kebabs I've ever had, not just in Edinburgh, anywhere in the world. I've started to become a regular there. All the items we ordered were very very very good.

Absolutely loved our visit here. The food was delicious and very authentic! The service was wonderful too, all the staff that waited on us were very kind and professional, infact I'd say its the best service iv had anywhere in a long time! I highly recommend it. I must also mention the Mojito Mocktail was so refreshing and delicious! It's a must.

Absolutely Rip off , I was Tourist in Edinburgh and had my dinner here on 3rd September 2022(Today). 1st Took the wrong order gave me extra food and said I ordered it I said okay no issue then Charged me £14 for 4 tandoori roti . When I saw online menu afterwards price is only £1.65 for each roti .so charged me extra for 4 rotis . Don't recommend going here Guy with waistcoat asian guy very rude and arrogant.

After a long search found a place in Edinburgh to eat spicy and desi style food especially for vegetarian. For vegetarian you can get vegetable biriyani and variety of veg side dishes

We have been in Edinburgh for a few days and have only had bland flavorless meals. This place was recommended to us by a local and it was the only satisfying meal we have eaten! So much flavor, great grilled meat, and impeccable service. Worth the visit.

It's one of my favorite restaurants now. Food quality and taste are outstanding. I had veg dinner with family in this restaurant 3 days back and felt very satisfied after having its food. It remembered me my favorite restaurant in India.

As a tourist i always wanted to trie indian food that's when i found kebabish,the moment i enter the staff greet me at the door show us to our table help us with our choices because we had no idea what to get,we got some mix grill after some biryani lamb and a chiken bhuna followed by 2 garlic naan and one boild rice. Fantastic, quick and friendly service Beautiful food

I order the lamb chop Karachi and the lamb chops were off, I was shockingly disappointed. I phone and told them and they insisted nothing is wrong with the as I made it up. I’ve been their regular customer for more than 5years! And it’s sad to say but it’s not the same Kebabish Original Anymore.

The thrill of the grill is real , food really tastes good, lamb on the bone biryani is love❤️
