The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Estábamos deseando probar este lugar, ya que había reservado 2 semanas de antelación, en primer lugar . . lugar se ve increíble jardines impresionantes, etc . . en segundo lugar después de que era un desastre total, el camarero que teníamos parecía simplemente rondar nuestra mesa y al tomar los pedidos simplemente se paró sobre nosotros haciéndonos sentir un poco incómodos, para empezar, tenía pudín negro y bolas de haggis que eran agradables, pero mi esposa no tenía un entrante, luego vino la red, esposa tuvo la cena de carne de res que se pidió ROSA . . . vino RAW & Dropping blood esto se envió de vuelta y regresó 10 segundos después que era apenas muy diferente, carne de res muy masticable y difícil de comer con un cuchillo de mantequilla, patata asada era roca frita dura en el medio esto solo dejo a mi esposa, no entendíamos las cebollas crujientes en la parte superior de la carne de res ? ? ? . . mi pescado y patatas fritas era pobre, patatas fritas sólidas y pescado no era grande en absoluto y no mucha carne blanca en el interior como si el filete se había cortado de nuevo (porción muy delgada) también guisantes enlatados, la gerente fue informada sobre que ella trató de rectificarlo . . 25% de descuento en la factura no era el mejor, pero solo queríamos dejar ... vergüenza, ya que estábamos deseando ... tal vez era un mal día para ellos, pero por desgracia no volveremos ... 40 libras abajo. . . personalmente no lo recomendaría pero que mi opinión

Wonderful traditional pub that serves it's own beer, Spingo, that is excellent. Locals were very friendly and so were the bar staff. Did not have any food. Still a great pub on 2nd visit. And 3rd visit.

No sé cómo pueden justificar esto. 49€ por 4 slithers o bocadillos, apenas rellenos, se mejora en M&S. A diferencia del té tradicional de la tarde, no hay recargas de sándwiches a menos que desee pagar. Bollos duros y secos de un paquete y pasteles que se ven bien en el autobús de Londres pero carecen de cualquier tipo de sabor o variedad. Para mi hija de 7 años, 39 libras por tres sándwiches. La pobre chica se fue hambrienta. Los pasteles no atendían a los niños, el chocolate negro la única opción. Así que básicamente 39 libras por un sándwich de queso y un bollo. El ambiente es frío, sillas cansadas con música de ascensor sonando. Junto al desayuno buffet de los hoteles. Ventanas sucias y la izquierda sobre las decoraciones navideñas. Camareros robóticos sin habilidades de hospitalidad. Sólo querían que entráramos y saliéramos. Billete de 250 libras después, sintiéndome totalmente estafado. Gasta los 20€ extra y ve a uno de los mejores hoteles para una experiencia especial, que estaba lejos de ser.

My other half loves the food here and its very handy as right round the corner from our house. The food is always nice and it quick :-)

The amazing sea views make this a pretty perfect cafe / restaurant. I have eaten here many times Had breakfast, lunch and dinner over the years and the staff are always very friendly and enthusiastic The food is well made/cooked and there is plenty I am still not sure the ordering via a QR code is necessary but made it keeps the costs and staff numbers down - it’s still a stumbling block thought for me though This time we had a cream tea at 10:30 I. The morning. The April sea temps at North Sands are pretty bracing so the extra pot of hot water so that I could have a second and almost 3rd cup of tea were very welcome The scones were so huge but it would have been better if we could have had a choice of plain or fruit scones All in all - lovely food with an exceptional view of the Salcombe or Kingsbridge estuary and with plenty of parking, some of it free Don’t miss it and don’t let the narrow twisty route there put you off

Food is good. One of the managers was rude..the waitress that looked after us was lovely..very very helpful, cheerful and polite..I am still waiting for a voucher for 30pound that I could not retrieve on my phone!

Ordered steak and chips from fhem. Sent us half order to our GP clinic. The staff at steakout lied about it. Food also horrible

My current favourite place to stay in Falmouth! Solo trip in penthouse and then Fos’cle with hubby. The same great view. Lovely rooms with great location. The best nights sleep I had in a long time. Straight out onto the high street with a quiet setting. Beautiful 🥰

What a fantastic time we’ve had tonight. Great food, great atmosphere, great service & great value. Our server Caz was amazing, attentive & professional. 100% recommended….

Absolutely shocking. Very rude.

On a Friday night you would expect the restaurant to be busy. The place was only half full so there's no excuse for the service we received. Twice we had to find a waitress to take our order after none appeared in our part of the restaurant. Food was OK.

Inesperadamente necesitando 3 noches de alojamiento, fui recomendado por otro establecimiento y me hundí afortunadamente en mi cama en La Vicaría, anticipando el inglés completo a seguir en la mañana. La dirección había dado sentido comprensivo a mi controvertida investigación y llegada de última hora (no confíes en Google Maps para llegar allí, tampoco - me llevaron a un baile alegre alrededor de las casas que debería haber sido, solo un conveniente viaje de 15 minutos). Bienvenido, descansado y alimentado!

Was here for a dinner and was served by Jayden. He was very attentive and great to talk to as well as all other staff encountered. My table and I had a brilliant 5 star meal and service. Was very well taken care of.
