Ordered through just eat. Half a medium chicken, rice, coldslaw and salad. Best food in a long time. Highly recommended

This was one of our favourite takeaways in Lichfield but the last two orders have been sub standard. The chicken was dry and the coating doesn't taste the same. Chips were ridiculous salty. Something has changed and we won't be back.

Crave knows how to do it! Nandos isn't a patch on this place. Unreal flavours. I always opt for chicken wings - hot and they are incredible!!

Glad they are back but have they changed their process of food? Only ever had take aways and always enjoyed them. Tonight for the first time since they reopened we ordered another takeaway. Food arrived hot.Yet the chicken and chips tonight were extremely salty. Took away from what would have been a good meal.

We use to be regular customers of crave, the take away then suffered a fire and has reopened recently. Excited to have a close to Nando’s chicken meal again, I ordered the medium spiced whole chicken and fries. My wife went for lemon and herb. Both meals has too much intensity to the flavour. I started to sweat eating mine and my wife’s had patches of intense flavour that even for the mild option were a bit too much. I would say that crave have marinated for too short a period of time meaning the flavour is not soaked into the whole chicken but remains on top and so is too much. Such a shame as we use to love this place, but looking at the other reviews it is clear something has changed, and not for the better. A meal of 1/2 a chicken, 1 whole chicken, 2 chips and 2 cans of pop came to £31. Ordering online includes 50p service charge and £3 delivery charge.

I absolutely love the fast food at this place! The service is quick and efficient, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend their burgers and fries. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Would have given 5 stars but ordered two meals and one meal was delivered incorrectly. However, after ringing the restaurant they sent out a replacement within 20 mins. Very good customer service

Food was delicious and just as nice as I remember before the fire. Pizza is much nicer than the popular chains around Lichfield. Chicken was flavoursome. They did get our order wrong but it was the opening night and they were super busy so it’s understandable. So glad you guys are back! Will be ordering again very soon!

I am currently writing this review as im sat on the toilet for the 18th time today.Havnt got much to say about this place other than I should have know Better. when I saw the state of the kitchen floor and working area food all over the place squashed food all over the floor,shocking place it’s self very basic same as the owners and staff food was just pumped with loads of chilli no flavour soggy chips.I maybe thought the shop would of been better than the van they had on the duke car park which was also a shambles filthy dirty van chicken all in dirty ice cream buckets, food was slimy and chips were dry it’s just a glorified chicken shop Iv had better from chapel ash Wolverhampton

We were out drinking at juke of york pub and vaping was happening on the crave food van 🤷🏻‍♀️this is not something I would expect to see on a food van and it totally put me off .

ordered waited for 1 hour to then be cancelled, i now have to wait to be refunded. why not just cancel the order strait away if you can not do it discussing.

We've just demolished a full chicken, rice, chips and slaw, mango and lime marinade.... delicious and we're now enjoying the lingering smell of succulent rotisserie chicken...thank you Crave.

food order turned up 20 minutes late and so sent it back as was cold !. not a great attitude on the phone when called them . still waiting for my refund

Food is so much better then most takeaways. High standard. Have one at least once a week. Have tried alot of menu always satisfied. All packaging is recyclable. Taste of the food is outstanding. Just ordered now again 😊

Over the phone told £9:45 for pizza and £2 delivery and said it was £12:50? Delivery was on time but then they said it was £13:50!? Untrustworthy? But still the cheapest in Lichfield. Pizza had NO tomato puree on it at all. Like eating plastic, tasteless and not worth the order. Willn't be ordering from them again

The missus had a peri peri chicken strips meal. Cooked to order so nice and fresh.

Perfect service and food from the team at Crave. Rude Deliveroo driver totally messed up the delivery but the helpful chaps at Crave took care of it and got us some fresh replacement food sent straight to us. Thanks guys.

We’ve had to wait almost 2 hours tonight for our order which said it would be 70 minutes. I had to call twice to chase it. I had to ask for the store to contact the driver and ask them to let me know what was going on because their attitude on the telephone was very much ‘we’ve cooked it and sent it and we don’t really care now’. Food when it did finally arrive was warm, the chips had sweated themselves soggy in their boxes and what have you done to your mash it used to be lovely? I’ve written great reviews for Crave in the past and highly recommended it, but I think your standards of food and service have slipped and this isn’t the first time we have had to chase an order.

We order at least 5 times a month and the last two orders were dreadful I am not sure if it has changed hands the chips are hard and cold, and the pizza sauce has changed even tried a different pizza and all you can taste is the he horrible tomato sauce

I have had food from crave lots of times and recommended it to lots of people. Normally I rave about the food but today it was a bad experience the delivery was great the food let it down. Burnt bacon bits , 2 tiny bits of lettuce, and a few mushrooms, the chips were not the best. As I say this is the worst food I have had from there , please still try it for ur selves. This is just my experience today . And for a burger over £12 I would of expected better. Most was not eaten.

Excellent takeaway, spot on every time!

First time we ordered from here it was amazing. Fast delivery and great food but the second time we ordered they had forgot our chips with our meal and that took another 45 minutes to get those (after waiting 45 minutes already for the order to begin with), when we called they said they would send them straight out to us. We live 5 minutes away. By that time, we had finished the rest of our food to avoid that going cold. So we had chips delivered but didn’t get to eat them with our meal? Minor mistake and so we had decided to try it again and I think this will be the last time we order from here as the burger was way too over cooked, very dry and didn’t come with anything on it that was supposed to. It took over an hour and 30 minutes for two meals to be delivered, when I was told it would be no longer than 50 minutes. Called up around an hour and 10 minutes later to see how long, out of curiosity, and they said they were very busy which is understandable but that our food was on the way now. It then took another 30 minutes to receive the order. I live 5 minutes away. Just a lack of communication really and it was a bit frustrating.

What can I say, the decor inside was outstanding, the staff were amazing. The food was 10 out of 10. The individual at the counter made sure all cutlery, napkins and sauces were inside. Definitely will return again, mouth watering food 👍by far the best takeaway in Lichfield !

So it was my first time trying out Crave and it didn’t not disappoint. I got a Mexican style burger, Peri chips and hot wings. Burger was on point, chips were cooked and the wings were hot. But they weren’t as hot as the girl that served the food even tho she had a mask on I could tell she was fit 👌🏽 10/10 Be back again

Ordered for the first time tonight. Family of 6 ordered for and everyone was delighted with their food. Can highly recommend the burger selection and the chicken combo meal. Great value, very fresh and delivered a couple of hours after ordered as requested. Will be back again, well done to an independent local company.

Love Crave! Have been there quite a few times, this time I found a hair in my food. But the quality of the food is great just upset about the hair.

I have had a few meals from Crave lately and they are just great! like Nandos and we don't have one in Lich and discovered these guys do Peri Peri. The chicken is perfect as is the rice and peri chips. Highly recommend! These folks who work there are also tip top. A lovely local business that thoroughly deserves our support. Give it a try!

We have just had an exceptional meal from Crave. This is our 3rd takeaway in our 3rd lockdown and every meal has been superb. We cannot recommend this place enough. Keep up the good work!

Ordered from here for the first time, as new to the area, and was not disappointed! The chicken strips were delivered piping hot and were delicious. The pizza was tasty and good value, also delivered piping hot. Will definitely be ordering again soon.

We have been and we were not impressed. No mask worn in the kitchen, salad in the burger was bad, almost no sauce in burgers. Won't recommend.

I don’t normally have time to review unless a service really annoys me. We get Crave delivered once a week and it never fails to deliver. We were huge Nando’s fans but will never go there again. Fresh, tender, brilliantly spice and crunchy chips. Try the very hot if you dare!!! Keep up the brilliant work.

Lichfield has had its ups and downs with Take Aways, from the expense of Lichfield Kebab House, and food poisoning from Millennium. My partner introduced me to these guys as we are Chicken lovers and my god! The food is 110% and the price is superb! The quality of the food is perfect, I always have a Chicken Lovers Pizza, with additions and an egg burger, and my god its amazing! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone! You wont be disappointed.

Foods nice ordered before and service has been fine. Says its should take MAX 45 mins but took an hour and a half!!!

On the positive side the food is good and the staff are courteous. On the negative side I have ordered on at least 3 occasions where the orders are incorrect whether it be via online orders or calling or go into the shop. Today I was told it would be an hour .After a an hour no delivery rang it was on its way...it was an hour and half no apologies for the wait. I know Friday night is busy but that is very poor.

Had chicken for four tonight and the chicken was so good. For takeaway it was so moist and full of flavour. Delivery on time as per the order estimate and great value. Would definitely recommend.

Burgers are nothing to write home about, didn't even toast the inside of the bun! Spicy chips just seemed to be over salted and weren't that spicy. Expected more for the cost.

The best tasting piri piri chicken in lichfield. From the mild mango flavour to the hot piri piri flavour and at a bargain for around £8 for half a chicken 3 hot wings and 2 chicken strips. Also if you are brave enough try the hot wing challenge, 6 extremely hot wings in six minutes. You have been warned.....

Walked in there this evening and about to order some food and I was told to leave because I had a dog. I have eaten there since they opened accompanied by my dog and now that seems to have changed, so much for loyalty

Good reviews, high expectations. Delivered, Food arrived piping hot but soggy. The containers allowed too much moisture to build up. The side salad was soaked and basically cooked by the time we got it and opened it up 😂. Maybe change the containers they are delivered in, I'm sure would of been great otherwise.

Fab, freshly cooked food to order. The meal deal is great value. compared to Mcdonalds and Burger King etc..... The food is fresh and tasty. Have used a few times now and not been disappointed. It's ideal when you fancy a Friday night take out. Call in the shop or order online then go and a have a pint while your order is being sorted. Highly recommend.

Great place, lovely food and great people. Took only about 5 mins to get food which is really great. Even called to give good feedback. I really appreciate this really great small business and would hope that they progress in their journey of making lovely food. I really recommend the peri-peri fries they are just amazing honestly, great place if you got a 10 or 20 note and feel like a bite to eat. Chicken is really juicy and tasty and is marinated well. Ordered with yourselves this evening food was cold and took ages to be delivered. Burger was raw inside (did ring up and was offered refund on the burger.) Chips are really nice but yet again cold. I didn't like the chicken although it was cooked perfectly, just to much flavour for me.

Great burger. Had it with a beer at Beerbohm down the road (where you can take in your own food). Marvellous!

Lovely place to eat in. Very unique decor and clean interior. Real wood feature wall my favourite. We went during a busy easter bank holiday evening, however the food arrived pretty quickly, I was impressed at the service. The lady at the desk was very professional and kind as we had arrived with 3 children. Food was simply Wow! I'm not usually a fan of wings at all, it would usually be the last thing I would order from the menu, however the tasty wings in this place are toooo good!! Never tasted anything like it before, you must try them!! The cheese burger, special burger, tandoori pizza and rustic chips were a hit with the 3 kids, 4 year old, 5 year old and an 11 year old. All hand made beef burgers, very unique, and rustic chips were so fluffy, the kids loved them. We also had peri peri chicken which had a depth of flavour created with a kick of different spices, simply delicious! We were provided with lemon hand wipes which was so convenient especially with kids. I must say the portion sizes were also very reasonable and we were all stuffed, with some food we couldn't finish in the end which the staff packed very nicely to bring back home with us. The staff were very friendly, helpful and perfectly brilliant with the kids. Overall it was a brilliant family day out with absolutely fantastic food. Highly recommended!!

The best takeaway by a long distance..... This is not low grade food at expencive prices it is very good quality at good prices. I would reccomend the full chicken with rice and peri peri fries.
