Steakout Luton in Luton

visited one of your branches in Luton for Eid and I got to say the service was terrible. We were seated at a booth that we requested and it was dirty with finger marks and table being sticky. We ordered starters first which were fine. However, me and my friend ordered a 340g steak to be medium rare. When they arrived we wanted to check if they got it right and it was raw, when I mean raw it could literally jump off my plate if it wanted to. We explained it to the manager who I didn’t get his name at first but we were hoping he could rectify the issue first before educating me about what steaks are in terms of (rare, medium rare, medium and well done). We know how steaks are as we eat from plenty of better steak branches. He firstly was rude when he started teaching us about steaks. I’m not inspired by his words at all as customers are always right. He took the steaks back to be reheated and once they came I didn’t get my onions or my pepper sauce, it was still raw and I will not be going to your place again. All he could do is apologise. I’m not blaming him but a manager like this needs to be trained properly and especially the kitchen. Imagine cooking the same steak again to be still raw, it’s a joke.

Extremely disappointed by the food no taste chicken had a very strange after taste. Ordered the Ramadan platter It was over priced and just not worth it. Staff were too busy to even seat us and I had to personally collect my drinks Would never visit again.

Amazing service good atmosphere. The starters arrived quick and hot. We got the prawns and cheese balls. The steak was really well good and arrived hot which was great, nice mocktails. I do not recommend the garlic bread or the mac and cheese. It was just melted cheese on plain pasta and the garlic bread wasn’t tasty.

Usually good but the taste has definitely gone down. Order a Pulled Angus Burger, that came in with very little meat despite says in the menu that it's double patty but hardly any meat was in there. Meat wasn't seered properly, it was watery from the inside as if it was taken out of the fridge and out straight onto the grill so it was very tasteless with no sauce inside.

Was disappointing to try this branch of steak out compared the South London branch. Even though this is a franchise it didn't live up to expectation. T bone steak was dry and no flavour. Was not grilled and bbq properly. Had no taste Was like eating rubber I had to drown in mushroom sauce Chicken steak again was not grilled properly and was just drowned In a nandos sauce. The chicken cheese balls were on point as well as the milkshake.

Not value for money went on Monday evening. The portion are very small A handful of chips steak very small also Service very good.

I had seen mixed reviews about this place before visiting but I have to say I can safely say the positive is closer to my experience. Not a huge menu but you head here for meat and that's what you'll get. I had the chicken cheese balls to start, slight spice but very good and the t bone with mac and cheese main and was happy with the quality for sure. Service was great, no complaints at all. Atmosphere is only losing a star as it was mid week when we visited so not a true reflection.

Very poor meal. Asked for a medium rare steak and the meat was raw. Small soggy portions of chips. This is not a place for steak. They don't have any flavour in their food, pure waste of hard earned cash!!!!

Great location close to the town centre, and with a brilliant seating design that keeps noise under control when times are busy, but can also accommodate groups of 10+ Excellent service and I had a juicy freshly cooked and sensibly priced Angus Burger which made for a delicious lunch. The sweet treats dessert menu is extensive and looks very tempting and I will come back to try some of them another time.

Food was stale Maccarone cheese, looked about three years old, missed my Coke in the delivery, so called up, thinking they would advise me or help me Even go to the shop and pick it up, but instead managers seemed rude, quite egotistical and said to me nothing he could do contact Deliveroo. However He felt to understand that the food issue is not deliveries fall is there restaurant so I feel like it’s a waste of money I wouldn’t go here if you’re visiting Luton, there’s much better places specially for steak in Luton. Paid £60 for something worth not even £10 much rather go Tesco make my own steak and chips and macaroni cheese.

I had a lovely time spent with my family at Steak House. The ambience complimented with services and quality of food made the experience awesome. Highly recommended.

Food was horrific, I went in with an open mind looking forward to a decent steak meal. I spent £113 on The steak that tasted like water. the starter of prawns were deep fried with the shells still on and with a strong fish taste. The coleslaw tasted like butter and overall the rest was like an Iceland line. For a t bone that was covered in fat you’d think the price was worth it. I was upset the waiter kept trying to force us to buy more when we declined about 4 times. We asked for tap water for the table and he asked if we wanted bottled which we said no and proceeded to bring a bottle which we again declined. Then the mains came as we still were eating the starter not even cleaning the table inbetween and had to ask for our own cutlery. Overall done go it’s not worth the money or the stomach ache I’m still getting over. I will say this though the milkshakes were stunning even though we asked no cream and still got it charging an extra 25p each haha.

Love everything about the place

I didn't want to have to do this as this was one of my favourite places to eat but the service has been soo shocking for the past 5 orders that people need to know not to waste their money...I've placed my orders through uber eats and have had to deal with missing drinks, missing food items and when I've called through, the manager literally blamed uber eats for their own mistakes....uber eats provide a delivery service they don't make the food or pack the food, that is the restaurants responsibility. Today was the last straw for me .....My drink came spillt and half the contents gone because whoever packed the order decided to rip th 2 drink cup holder onto one instead of properly bagging it to keep it sturdy....they gave me oily burnt chips (full bag of them) and the rest of the food was not up to scratch.... I don't think I'll be ordering from here again as the food and drinks are bloody expensive and if they can't be bothered to provide a decent service and want to cut corners why should I bother with my custom and waste my money..just a warning to ther customers....go spend your money elsewhere....these lot are no longer worth it

I use to love going in for the steakout loaded meals quite often as did my husband ; however on a recent visit the meals have had probably half the chips they normally use to. I was surprised how many pop corn chicken and chips they gave for the kid portions, as usually it was quite a good portion but it’s seems they have cut portion size a bit too much! I certainly won’t be rushing back there again, where I was not feeling satisfied post my meal! Disappointed 😔

The service was great, I asked if my side chips could be replaced with salad and it was accommodated with a big portion. the steak was perfectly done, overall ambiance good.

I've always enjoyed dining at the Luton Steakhouse! The steaks are consistently delicious, and the mushroom sauce and tomato garlic sauce enhance the flavors perfectly. However, I've noticed they've been changing these sauces lately, which is a bit puzzling. Their mushroom sauce and chili garlic sauce were absolutely fantastic before. They do have a small kids' play area, though it could use some maintenance. On my last visit, the mashed potatoes weren't warm, which was a disappointment. The ambiance isn't as impressive as it used to be, but their drinks, especially the mojitos all the flavours , remain amazing.

Images of Items advertised online were nothing like what arrived. Very very disappointed in the whole experience of this restaurant. Would never order from here again, ever.

Best Halal steakhouse I have come across so far, the Fillet Mignon is superb. Would also recommend the Dynamite Prawns and Mixed Grill for the starters. Mojitos are also a generous size and taste top class.

Restaurant is quit nice as a overview with lovely staff/waiter.but main problem with the whole place is a very bitter simple guy who happens to be the restaurant manager.this guy is so self absorbed and as rude to staff .I would definitely never visit again

I'm genuinely puzzled by how this place manages to uphold a 4-star average across a myriad of reviews. My wife and I decided to give their recommended Angus beef a shot, only to be met with a taste that was nothing short of disappointing, and to top it off, we both felt queasy within an hour. While credit is due to the staff for their helpfulness and kindness, it's unfortunate that this was the highlight of our visit! The ambiance was lackluster, to say the least, tainted by an unpleasant odor that pervaded the air. In all my visits to various steakhouses, I've never encountered such a strong and off-putting smell. The design of the place left much to be desired as well – normal seating couches juxtaposed with an unnecessary and unappetizing view of the kitchen. Why they would subject patrons to such a sight is beyond me. And let's not forget the prices, which conveniently match those of North London – an area known for its high costs. All things considered, our decision to dine here was a regrettable one, leaving us wishing we had opted for a meal in London instead!

This is our fifth trip good food ,good service. But only main and big problems is wooden chairs which are not comfortable Its really hard to sit on wooden chairs. I was very disappointed. If we go for food and not feel comfortable its waste of time.

The service was impeccable and the staff were extremely helpful and fast. The food was also great with very good portions. The only downside is the atmosphere, there was a point myself and others in restaurant were coughing due to the smoke coming from the kitchen. If not for that it would be perfect.

Strangely had to send the drinks back twice as they had green floating in them ? ( looked abit like lettuce !) Food was ok , starts of cheese balls & nachos with spinach dip large portions but both rather bland by not horrible just nothing to write home about ! Main course veggi burger ( soggy mixed veg in breadcrumbs not very nice ) but ate the bun & chips. Dessert cookie dough was nice but there was no ice cream or milkshakes .

Food quality has declined recently, service was poor (apart from one pleasant person). Ambience was terrible with horrible kids making play for my little ones dangerous. Have been going to Steakout regularly for the past 7-8 years. Will be getting my steak fix elsewhere.

I just went to get lunch with my wife but as soon as we sit down and we were looking at the lunch menu the waitress came to us and told us we don't have the steak and after again we don't have the burgers so I don't know if they didn't have it at all because it's a steak house I think they did it on purpose so we get up and left

Kids ordered from the kids menu, I ordered the mignon steak in medium/rare, which is supposed to be their tenderest steak. I can confirm that it wasn't a nice cut. Very fibrous with tendons, I had to work my way around it to get meat out. I didn't want to make fuss, as I was out with the family, I did however tell the waitress before paying the bill. The only thing she could say was, "maybe next time try different cut!" I wasn't looking for a free meal, but a good will gesture of some sort would have been nice. I doubt there will be a next time!

Steak was decent. Sides were awful spoke to the waiter and told him it was too salty. His supervisor then got involved and gave such an awful explanation. Hardly touched it and still got charged for it. You both should have tasted it when I asked you. Awful service, ok food and abysmal atmosphere.

Very poor went for a birthday. Witj 12 people steak was ordered but cooked wrong mash was cold boneless chicken thigh was ordered and received breast instead. By the time the food was reheated in the microwave half the table had finished eating felt very awkward eating whilst everyone else had finished. Been going here for about 14 years and just seems to be getting worse. Not a very good experience.

I had lunch with my work colleagues, I booked in advanced and pre ordered the lunch to avoid any mishap. The waitress Meriam was extremely rude and verbally aggressive towards myself and my work colleagues. She was huffing and puffing whilst taking my order over the phone, she wasn’t approachable whilst delegating drink orders. The final straw was during payment, the nice waiter was a new member of staff who made an error and gave us two mojitos and I happily said I will pay for both drinks. Meriem then proceeded taking payment and made such a scene, which then my colleague said to calm down and take a full payment of all four of my other colleagues as Meriem could not do basic math! My first and last visiting this restaurant. Appalling behaviour and disgusting customer service!

This was our first family visit to Steakout Luton, first of all the location of the restaurant is not the most attractive & situated on a not so friendly looking busy side road of Luton town centre, with a lot of riff raff shouting all sorts walking past is quite frankly very off putting especially when walking with young children. Once we were in there decor & atmosphere was nice, lots of crayons & paper for children, which is a nice touch alongside complementary lollipops so the children were very happy & entertained. Our server was pleasant & attentive, we ordered milkshakes for the kids which were really nice, I ordered a fruit milkshake which I thoroughly enjoyed & would recommend. They have a good selection of choices on the menu, though food being honest is mediocre, we ordered a couple of burgers, steaks & a dynamite prawn, the prawns were overly covered with the sauce & far to rich, so after about 2 prawns I felt slightly sickly from the grease & over powering taste of the sauce that I could could not eat anymore, rest of the food was pretty standard for a steak place & nothing to write home about! Drinks were definitely nicer & more enjoyed than the actual food. I have been to the Stratford branch on many occasions having lived in London so definitely can say Luton can’t compare in terms of food, please add some love to your mash & steak sauces which were quite bland & lacked seasoning. Wish I could say I enjoyed it & food was amazing but i can not! On another note anyone looking for good steak Restaurant I would highly recommend Boga steakhouse in Watford, amazing food & ambiance, definitely money well spent!!

Absolutely rubbish 16 of us came for a birthday party very disappointed. Ordered chicken thigh came out with chicken breast and was cold steaks where made wrong mediums were raw gravy cold mash cold Absolutely terrible. By the time yhe reheated microwaved food came back out half the table had eaten. Waiter was so embarrassed couldn't fault him but I would definitely give it a big miss nest time after coming here for 14 odd years the standard's ha e got worse thank you for a memorable birthday.

Do not recommend T-bone (it was very-very slim). And do not recommend Steakout marinade - better to take plain steak.

Great food, great atmosphere would recommend to others

We usually go here when my siblings all come together at my parent's house. We most recently went for ifthaar. We pre-ordered what we wanted to allow the restaurant to get all the food out on time. When we got to the restaurant, one of our party wanted to change their order which they accommodated so that was great. Overall, the food was good and everyone had a pleasant time. It was also a nice touch that there was a small platter of fruit (inc. dates) and water on the table ready to break our fast. The only thing that let the service down was the drinks. Nobody offered to take our drinks order and only took it when we asked them about it, 10-15 mins after we'd been sitting down. There was then a significant delay in getting our drinks out; everybody was well into their mains and we had to ask them three times before we eventually got them. Aside from that, everything was fine and we'll more than likley be returning.

Some Friendly staff but utterly disappointed in every other way.. £70 for a shared starter, two steaks and chips.. the steak was no better than a steak you would get at a place like Weatherspoons but cost a ridiculous amount more but at least at spoons your chips come with the chips and have other things included such as onion rings and salad.. we came here for our honeymoon meal and I will never go there again. Ever.

It was impromptu decision to check this place out for lunch, food was good, service was good and good location. Not a bad lunch offer for under £13.
