We had breakfast there. Plenty of food for the money, loads in fact so great value. Reasonable coffee. Friendly staff. Help yourself to the food. Food decent quality, not kept very warm in my opinion, it cooled quickly by the time I was sitting eating it.

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years. Beefeater should be embarrassed by the abysmal service, horrific food, and questionable drink quality they served up. First off, we were left sitting at our table for a ridiculous 23 minutes before anyone bothered to bring us a drink. Almost half an hour of sitting and waiting just to get served — and to make matters worse, when our drinks did arrive, the beer tasted sour and stale. They replaced it, but the fact that they served us off beer in the first place is baffling and raises serious concerns about their standards (or lack thereof). Who checks this stuff? Does anyone? The food was another disaster. The portions were laughable, bordering on insulting. My meal came with a scattering of sad, undercooked chips that looked like they’d been counted out one by one to ensure they didn’t go over some miserly chip limit. The main portion itself? Barely a snack. For what we paid, I expected a meal, not a plate that looked like it came from a children’s menu. The only reason this place survives, it seems, is because companies keep booking rooms at the Premier Inn next door and forcing their employees to eat at the attached Beefeater. Otherwise, this location would have shut down long ago. It’s clear that quality and customer satisfaction are nowhere on the priority list here. If you’re thinking of dining here, save yourself the trouble and find somewhere that actually deserves your business. If you happen to have found your self reading this review whilst considering booking a room for your employees. I beg you to find even a grain of empathy in your heart and look elsewhere.

So good the breakfast, kids for free, till 11, nice continental and hot breakfast, coffee machine that does amazing cappuccinos, not too bad on price

My Mum and visit family in Crewe. We choose the Beefeater each time as the food is always great quality that does not sting the pocket… the staff are always friendly and attentive.. Lynne served us and recognised us as we came through the door.. We had a lovely meal. Restaurant has a welcoming cosy feel. It was very busy for a Friday night but staff were great.

Quality was ok . But quantity was dreadful.. £18 for small salmon and 4 small potatoes.. Then an extra £5 for TWO prawns.. Won't go again & will spread the word

Fantastic meal, came for Sunday lunch with my partner on sunday afternoon. Sunday roast was lovely, and the service was top notch. It was just a let down to see people carrying bin bags through the restaurant, wasn't very nice to see whilst we was eating I think it came from the premier in next door

We've been coming for over a year now atleast twice a month and unfortunately it's just so inconsistent sometimes it's really nice and everything is cooked lovely. But most of the time sadly there is always something not ready. Today the bacon was so undercooked, my husband feels sick he said it tasted funny and luckily didn't eat anymore. It's a shame as when it's good it's really good and such good value but today was the worst it's ever been. No cups of spoons had to clean our own table..yes it was busy but had double the staff compared to normal. Not sure we will be coming anymore Update October 2024: We have tried again and it's improved. We tried rookery wood in the meantime and beefeater is MUCH better

Visited when passing through at 8am wanted a breakfast for me and my son. Staff were very friendly, food was great all you can eat cooked or continental for a very reasonable price and kids eat free, fantastic I would recommend if your passing.

Went for my Son’s Birthday tonight. Food was amazing. Staff were so friendly and was a lovely night. Thank you for the suprise chocolates too. Was such a lovely gesture. Will be visiting here more often.

To be fair we only had breakfast and a few drinks in the evening, the food was ok but that's as good as it gets, in the evening we got drinks at the bar and the barman was very polite and helpful, the drinks were a bargain price with the lagers served in the right branded glasses, being a Beefeater its never gonna get a Michelin star but they serve a purpose

Updated review following most recent visit today, 14/9/24. We were welcomed to the table by Jan who went on to take responsibility for us all night. I'm updated on all the offers so first of I asked her to confirm the current offers. I had a 40% off mains and a 25% off food voucher, there's a two courses of the evening set menu and a drink for £18 and also 2 cocktails for £12 between 5pm and 9pm. All perfectly and patiently explained by Jan. She took the orders and they all arrived together, good portion size and food quality. She attentively ensured that we were regularly checked on, that everything was ok, more drinks etc including which drinks infused in the offers that we hadn't yet had. Before preparing the bill she advised us about which discount voucher might be most appropriate to use, so we choose the one that suited us best. She prepared the bill and helped us patiently while we split it between us. She went on to explain the benefits of the reward card scheme and we all took one. It's a good while since I'd used here as a venue for a dinner party, this time now no comparison to last time, the place was a lot busier and that speaks volumes. I enquired about a table for 9 next week, Jan confirmed that part size can be seated together and I booked use in for next week! If they can maintain this level of food and service quality, combined with attractive offers, I'll be very happy to make Farmhouse Beefeater a regular venue for my get-togethers.

How anyone can rate this higher than 2 star is a mystery. The place is disgusting, food was cold, atmosphere was soul crushing. Email complaint ignored. Dirty everything... Toilets, cutlery, glasses, serving areas, floor... Just avoid this place like the plague it's likely to give you. Food hygiene doesn't exist in this building

Food was ok (had a half roast chicken). Whilst the service was friendly, it was incredibly slow. I only had a main meal, yet I was there for over 90 minutes, it took 35 just to get the bill!

£20 all you can eat breakfast for a family of 4. You absolutely can’t go wrong! Lovely food, fantastic service, and lots of parking!

We was greeted and served by an amazing member of staff called Beth, Nothing was to much trouble and made our night very comfortable. We ordered a mixed grill and a steak meal cooked to perfection in every way. We will be back again very soon.

Beautifully cooked, delicious lunch. Sirloin steak courtesy of Birthday treat on Beefeater card, chicken and ribs for husband. Surprised at how busy it was for a Thursday but Beth, Josh and Mike were perfect hosts. Will definitely come again

We've used the farmhouse beefeater a few times,the food is always good there's a decent choice of dishes and we've never been disappointed with what we've had plus the service is always good would thoroughly recommend it 👏👏

Lovely choice of food staff is very attentive and polite ,some areas of dining could do with more lighting as a tad dark in some areas .

We decided to eat at the restaurant because of it being close to the Premier Inn. The restaurant was busy when we arrived. it was obvious the guy who greeted us was stressed, well his expression gave that away. We were shown to a table which he had just cleared. It took about 20 minutes before the receptionist from the hotel took our order. She was in fact the only person we really had any interaction with while in the restaurant. The food was ok, I've had better, but the proximity to the hotel made it more appealing. Once we'd finished eating we seemed to wait an eternity for our table to be cleared. Staff didn't seem that busy now as a lot of tables were now empty, plus they now seemed to have time to chat in front of the kitchen. But, we felt that they were not interested. Just like when our order was taken, it was the receptionist who cleared our table and took our dessert order. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours and needed to ask twice for the bill. We were asked if we were paying cash or card, we waited, expecting him to vanish and bring over the card machine, but it needed yet another request to pay before our payment was taken. We'd even joked that, it was difficult to get anyone's attention, we wondered how quickly they'd notice if we'd just walked out.

Empty, always an indication to me however thought ok....ordered food, ordered a pint, my glass was covered in dirt, grime & dirt up & down the side of my glass, glass changed no fresh beer ...it was disgusting then I just kept thinking if the glass was filthy how about kitchens then felt sick thinking all kinds, a bit tired food ok thou staff nice enough but it should of been apologised on & fresh drink given that's all

Fabulous staff that were welcoming and really accommodating with us having a 14Month old and dietary restrictions! The food was good and exactly what you expect from a beefeater, but the staff was what made the experience. Thank you all.

Had a faultless stay at the premier inn however very disappointed with the food at the Beefeater particularly the breakfast. Everything seemed sticky and the cutlery certainly wasn't clean. It was a game of find the tongs when attempting to select breakfast items. The toaster seemed like it took eleventy hundred days to make warm bread and the coffee only filled half a cup and had to borrow milk from the cereal table. Very sad to see how run down it has become, I understand it's getting sold but there's no need to let it get to the stage where you think you are entering a jungle.

Exterior and interior awful , couldn't get to outside tables due to length of the grass and weeds . Carpark looks as though they had emptied the bins all over it . Sticky tables and menus and food medoca at best worst £ ever spent

Where do I start? Place was completely empty, we were literally the only people in there. Last time I went here the food was served to order, now it's self service so who knows how long breakfast was under heat lamps? Hash browns were dry, egg stone cold, bacon covered in white goop, beans barely warm, Cups dirty with lipstick, items on menu not available for vegetarians. Floor covered in filth so badly that my shoes were sticking to it. Toilets out of order and blocked with no TP. Reported to staff member who made a comment suggesting he had no idea how that happened, but as we were the only people on site, it must have been like this for some time. Even the garden outside is overgrown with beer glasses on tables from previous night. Seriously, don't waste your time. Guaranteed this was the last time I'll visit here. Genuinely have no clue how this is still a viable business model. I predict it'll be sold off or shut down very shortly

Having booked into the nearby Premier Inn and having arrived tired and exhausted after a long drive from Middlesborough, my wife and I decided to dine at this Beefeater. Have been to other Beefeaters and other eating establishments attached to Premier Inns before, but today was the worst experience ever. Shocking and as for the manager, female with a pony tail, customer service skills atrocious. Perhaps the fact England were playing football that was an excuse for the attention we received. My wife had fish and chips with mushy peas, myself beef and ale pie with small chip portion and spoonful of peas. The fish came with the skin attached under the batter. The manageress when summoned explained, they offer 2 white fish, haddock or pollock. Haddock comes skinless, the pollock doesn’t and the chefs policy is to leave the skin on. Now according to Hungarian waiter, we should have informed him at point of ordering our meals that my wife wanted skin off. But there was no mention of this option on menu. I can only presume this omission the fault of the printers!! I requested the presence of the duty manager, who explained this particular outlet leaves skin on the pollock before adding the batter. We advised this as a first, as anywhere else the skin is removed. In our eyes this is a lazy chef at work. I asked about a discount on the meal. I will check the bill and see what I can do she said. We then decided to have dessert. My wife sticky toffee pudding, myself apple pie both with custard. Jokingly I said to our Hungarian waiter, no skin on the dessert! Sadly my attempt at humour failed as he became all defensive and his favourite response, the customer is always right. Desserts arrived and yes both custards stone cold! Seems we had the worst chef today. I went and complained and microwaved custards appeared very hot!! We then went to pay the bill and our Hungarian friend presented the bill and no discount applied to our bill. And the pony tailed manager, nowhere to be seen. My wife and I are both disgusted with treatment received, appalling food and manager who couldn’t care less. I appeal to those in charge of this outlet to go as mystery shoppers and check this team out, reshuffle required!

Great food and great service from a waitress named Lynne! Very friendly people. I have stayed here a few times for work now and always get the same standard of food and service, when staying in Crewe I always ask for Coppenhall lane to be my first choice!

I went out with my significant other on a date; we had a three course meal, each which ended up costing £72. A very good price compared to other places I've been. Staff were more than friendly, and the food is definitely worth the money. If you're looking for good food at fair prices, a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff definitely consider coming here on your next outing.

Awful experience recently. Place full of dirty plates and glasses. Bar staff serving made it plainly clear that they didn't want to be there and would rather be working in a factory! Used to go regularly but it will be a while before we go again and spend our hard earned money there. Also the opening times advertised here are not correct. The place stops serving and shuts by 10 in the week and 9 on a Sunday.

Had the prawn skewers with a couple of pints in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly but they were short in the morning which caused a delay in being seated.

I’ve been to this restaurant A couple of times the first time was when I stayed at the Premier Inn next door. The food is lovely. The waiters are lovely. I’m a simple person. I normally have the same main which is lasagne and every time its delicious. I’ve had a few different desserts and again they are all delicious. I went again last night and had lasagne and the chocolate churros sundae and the people were still lovely and the food perfect. I can also vouch their lost and found procedure is great. I’m a bit forgetful and I have lost my hat and an AirPod and both of the objects have been found and I have picked them up the next day. Different occasions as well. Including photo of a lasagne I had in March.

Ordered a Lasagne at dinner time it was spot on and come out looking beautiful. Taste was brilliant too. Highly recommend, thanks to waitress Jagoda and Pete for a great experience

Just had a beautiful meal for my mum's 79th birthday. Everything was perfect. Hot tasty meals. Noah was our server he was excellent nothing to much trouble. Very polite, knowledgeable about the menu. Great service.

Lynne has done a fantastic job looking after a table of 12 and keeping our bill sorting at the end to a stress free experience which has sometimes in the past not been the case. The food today was great. A lovely Sunday dinner too enjoyed by all thanks.

The food was okay, the steak was a little bit tastless, but everything else was fine. Was fine for a quick bite while staying at the adjoining hotel.

Went to celebrate my son's and husbands' birthdays. Party of 7. each person had 3 courses and drinks. Bill was around £150 once 40% discount voucher had been deducted. Waitress named, Lynne was absolutely excellent. Great customer service skills and meals were delivered in good time. She also kept us topped up with drinks as and when we needed them. Good basic food, reasonably priced and great service from the staff. On leaving the birthday boys got a surprise Cadburys chocolate orange from Lynne too. Hot water in the ladies toilets was scalding hot, which I had meant to mention, but forgot. No signage to warn users. Overall toilets seemed quite tired and in need of updating and they really could do with having the windows properly cleaned inside and out all around the property as they were very dirty. Overall not too bad but could be better. OK for a cheap and cheerful pitstop.

My husband and I went to the farmhouse on 12th April. It was another great experience. We were served by Lynne and Gaz who are always friendly and polite. But best of all the food was lovely, so thankyou once again.
