The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in City of London, Westminster London

Was really looking forward to grabbing a bite to eat from this place, although I think I'll be giving it a wide berth from now on!! Definitely not the same as it used to be, i was working in the area for many years and really enjoyed the food from here. Unfortunately it's gone down the same road as al the other little independent shops and started hiking up prices. I just paid £6 for a four piece meat box meal, not even enough food there for the youngest child, and you don't get a great choice either, when I started going in there 13 years ago, they didn't have the box meal thing, and you could choose everything in the meat counter. Real shame, but appears greed has took over here!!

Great service and steaks. We had the grilled Orkney scallops for appetizers. Never had scallops grilled before and the miso butter further elevated the taste. We shared an Irish chateaubriand, UK ribeye, and T-bone steak. Everything was grilled to the best temperature and seasoning. The mushroom sides and truffle fries were so delightful. Every server knew how to address our needs instinctively.

Having tried other 5star seafood and Oyster restaurants, Bentley's is the top placed in our families book of favourites. From the warm welcome at the door, to the all the excellent staff, you cannot beat the atmosphere here. The food takes the Bentley experience to another level, excellent oysters, fish pie was supreme, and the fish and chips all worth travelling for three hours to dine. Staff are excellent and always make you feel welcome.

A truly delightful dining experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine was exquisite—flavors were both refined and comforting, clearly crafted with care and attention to detail. However, what truly elevated the evening was the impeccable service. I would like to extend special thanks to Dace, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made the experience all the more memorable. Her graceful presence and thoughtful demeanor reflect a rare combination of elegance and dedication. It's not often that service feels so effortlessly attentive. Acogí una cena de negocios aquí por recomendación de un conocido, y fui con expectativas razonables y de buen humor. Era bastante temprano en una tranquila noche de lunes y normalmente uno podría hacer concesiones para eso, especialmente si es un restaurante informal. Si todos se esfuerzan, instintivamente me resisto a publicar una crítica negativa. Pero no esta vez, la experiencia olía a "no nos importa", y sugiero que en el negocio de la hospitalidad, eso es simplemente inaceptable.

I definitely recommend it to those who miss real Turkish cuisine in London. The food served was very successful in terms of both taste and presentation. Especially the meat dishes were cooked very well and the spice balance was just right. The service was very friendly and attentive; you feel right at home. The prices are also very reasonable by London standards. A place you should definitely visit for a quality and enjoyable dinner!

Recently had dinner at the Grill. Absolutely blown away by the experience. Our waiter, Matthew was excellent, looked after us attentively and provided useful information on the dishes we were about to eat. With this type of up end restaurant, you don't always get value for money. In this case we both felt we had a real treat and the food and wine was worth every penny. For me, the oysters were 10/10 and my wife felt the same about her steak. Cooked to absolute perfection. The chips are naughty, but amazing and the peppercorn sauce has a real depth and left you wanting more & more. The wine we were recommended, was exactly what we asked for, buttery Chardonnay and beautiful. Expensive, but worth it. Thanks for the experience, we will come again.

El pub al que está conectado este lugar deja mucho que desear desde el punto de vista del servicio al cliente. La comida (pollo souvlaki con papas fritas) era promedio. El precio era razonable para un lugar de almuerzo.

Just went to this be at one and was served by the kindest most helpful bartender Tanisha! I always find choosing drinks difficult and she was so helpful and advised me what was the best based on drinks i like - the cocktail raspberry berret that she made was incredible. I often find loud bars a stressful experience and she made me feel so welcome and safe! Thank you so much be at one team and tanisha 😁😁😁

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Manager/ Host? awkward and rude greeting, should have looked at the menu and left then. We stayed, food so downgrade, downhill it's unrecognisable. Burnt ends? No. Mac & cheese? Packet. Server was sweet, Manager disappeared after Arsenal match finished, clearly a typical fan trait when you have to face up to a difficult confrontation. Would never recommend.
