Excellent place to have a business meeting or a date if the aim is to impress. Excellent setting and do go for the seafood, although the non-seafood fare is of course very good indeed.

We were bought a meal at Kaspers for 60th birthday and I was well pleased. Great food great service and a great location I couldn’t really fault it. All the staff were very professional and extremely pleasant and helpful. They don’t rush you I was very impressed

There are two things certain in life .... taxes & death ... I was beginning to think a great diner at Kasper’s was a third, however on this occasion I can honestly say the saying is true.Poor food ( Dover sole ) pushy wine waiters -on a bonus scheme one would think- made this visit unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.On previous occasion the beautiful Dover sole served on the bone has been melt in the mouth, on this occasion 4 (yes four) large fillets could have been any fish as they arrived over-cocked and curling at the edge..one can only assume the ran out and used frozen.Edible .? Yes, Delicious : No , VFM: certainly not

Tuvimos la comida y la experiencia de San Valentín más increíbles debido al gerente del restaurante Thomas Wickens, que fue muy profesional y ofreció un servicio excepcional. Él fue muy servicial con mi pareja que es quisquillosa. El ambiente y la comida era hermosa. No podemos esperar para regresar.

Kaspars is part of the extended lobby area of the Savoy , and as such has no personal atmosphere or ambiance . It was virtually empty on a Thursday night , and once the music started to echo from the performer in the lobby it completely lost the point of eating there. The staff were friendly and efficient but the food was average and unbeliveably expensive for the quality. For example my lobster pasta dish consisisted of congealed pasta and a bland lobster . The starters were interesting but not outstanding . We only had 1 glass of wine each but the bill was £180+ , massively overpriced. Compare this with Scotts - great atmosphere , superb food and first class service. Sadly Kaspars is only an alternative for Savoy guests who dont want to leave the hotel. One visit was more than enough.

The service was outstanding, and we were seated near to the area where there was a live piano playing, with people having afternoon tea. The service was brilliant, and all of the food was great. The duck breast was quite good. The desserts were very good, especially Kaspar's Temptation. If I came back I think I would want to consider afternoon tea at the Savoy instead. The dishes were expensive for what they were, although I'm sure this was to be expected for such a fantastic venue.

Si bien fue una noche tranquila, el servicio y el ambiente fueron excelentes y la comida sublime. Nuestros invitados quedaron muy impresionados. No pude encontrar una sola falla: una noche realmente maravillosa.

Called for a very quick pre dinner cocktail

Wonderful place with excellent menu and service. They were very accommodating of dietary needs. Great wine list and team.

Specialising in Seafood we weren't disappointed by the food on offer. All was good quality, service was excellent. No complaints.

We ate lunch in a virtually deserted restaurant on Sunday. We opted for the three course set meal priced at £42, but our total bill including a shared side dish, one glass of wine, coffee and the 12.5 % service charge came to over £73 each. There was a choice of only two items for each course, but the food was tasty and well cooked and presented. However, there was an odd situation regarding the main course. The salmon was described as being served with a "veloute" and neither my friend nor I knew what this was. There was also an Irish Tulse, and we didn't know what this was either. The waiter just said it was a vegetable (it turned out to be broccoli). We asked if the veloute was a potato dish, as we wanted potatoes with our meal, and the waiter said it was. When the meal came there was no potato. We queried this and two different waiters followed it up. Neither knew what a veloute was. Eventually a dish of new potatoes was brought with an apology. Meanwhile I had Googled "veloute" and found out that it was a butter sauce, which presumably was the green sauce (described by the waiter as such) which came in a jug. The staff probably did their best, and to be honest both my friend and I found the situation funny. However, when one goes as a special occasion to such a restaurant, one does expect rather higher standards!

We ate here after arriving back late at the hotel after the theatre Sunday night, nothing was to much trouble we were seated straightaway and our waiter gave exceptional service throughout, it was quiet due to the time but still a nice atmosphere with live music, food and drinks faultless apart from the bread which you could have broke a tooth on it was that hard, we will certainly be back soon.

We have had the pleasure of having lunch here many times. They no longer have fish and chips on the menu. However Rosaria our waitress said no problem she would be happy to order it for us. Rosaria and Paul teamed up and were very nice waiting on us.

Lovely food and atmosphere. The Dover sole in particular was excellent. And Alan our waiter was superb!

Love this restaurant. It always delivers such fresh tasty food. It is head and shoulders above other seafood restaurants. The service is friendly but not too intrusive. The staff are so helpful and really go out if their way to assist. I cannot find any criticism and my sister swears she had her best meal ever here.

Very few times one can say a restaurant is a perfect good experience; this is by no means a cheap restaurant but the opposite...however worth every penny when it comes to food, wine, drinks, service, and pretty much anything you can think of.Needless to say The Savoy is a London institution, a piece of tradition of London history, where this restaurant is a real experience.Classy decoration welcomes dinners, with pleasant music. Service is excellent, with attentive knowledgeable waiters who can discuss ingredients not only as part of the dishes but also to consider allergies, intolerances, or simply great combinations.The drinks list is superb; from mocktails to bottles of incredible wine and champagne...it is all there.Food was simply amazing the bosque with the aromatic eastern experience is strongly recommended. The cold seafood starters are very good too. The lobster linguini is an absolute delight, as it is the Dover sole (by the way the children’s menu is also very good. Great variety and proper food for children).Desserts...the vegan panacotta was a great supiese, as it was the case with the selection of sorbets.A great experience.

Kaspar's is very informal yet wonderful decor and excellent fish. We had half a dozen oysters while we made our choices from the prix fixe lunch menu. The lobster bisque was just perfect and so was the mushroom risotto. Followed by sea bass beautifully cooked, all washed down with a single vineyard Premier Cru Chablis! Very nice staff who made our visit just before Christmas very special! We will be back

Nos encantó, pero lo mejor era la maravilllosa decoración de con grandes figuras de Lego en la entrada, el concierto de música melódica de fondo y la exquisita decoración del Savoy. Un must para estas fechas.

Lunch at Kaspars.Fantastic .Could fault nothing .Food fantastic .We all had the set menu.The service was EXCEPTIONAL.We were served by Paul who was brilliant,totally efficient and charming.Well done Paul.Also served briefly by Mike who was also excellent.The Xmas decorations as you would expect at The Savoy were amazing.All round great experience.If you want to feel special go to Kaspars

Zu dritt am Tisch sollte ein kleiner Einschlafsnack mit -drink genossen werden und unseren Tag beenden, wobei die Musik die Unterhaltung erschwerte: Der Kellner bemerkte dies und setzte uns unaufgefordert um ins benachbarte Restaurant. Immer wieder: Savoy ist Spitze!

We were looking forward to dinner at the Savoy, but ended up very disappointed.

We went to pre theatre dinner. What a treat. The food was sublimely delicious, the service was celestial (above 5 star). The crab cake was just Devine, and my lobster linguini was scrumptious. My wife’s Burrata with beet was exquisite and her duck with foie gras was special. Well done. Yummy

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, we were made to feel very welcome and from the very start nothing was too much trouble.. the "Taste of the seas" starter was superb and Roseria made the lunch extra special with her attentive service and fantastic recommendations for both food and most of all the wine she has extensive knowledge and a very clever way of knowing exactly what to recommend and what you would like.. When you put together the high standard of food along with Rosaria and the fantastic team that made everything so special i would say this is one of the best lunch exerpiences we have had and we have had a lot of lunches.. keep up the good work and we will be back to see you soon.. :-)

A relaxing lunch made even better by polite staff whose recommendations were superb on all three courses.

I’ve eaten at to Kaspars several times in the last few years and it has never disappointed. Although expensive the table d’hote menu is better value for money and the quality of courses and the choices are excellent. Service was very good whilst being unobtrusive. The great things I value of Kaspars are of course the fabulous river views but particularly the space between tables. So many top restaurants have little space around but Kaspars has always maintained a privacy level.

When I think of restaurants and hotels I am skeptical. This restaurant is excellent. From the staff to the food to the ambience to the price/value all earn top marks.

This was a business lunch in a dining room in The Savoy. Excellent freshly baked bread. Some of the leanest smoked salmon I have ever eaten with a roe caviar and horseradish sauce. Worked very well. Followed by corn fed chicken with truffled potato. Chicken skin was cooked to perfection and seasoned well, the meat however could have perhaps been slightly more tender.

I dearly love The Savoy, I love staying there, the rooms, the customer care and the atmosphere. So when my husband and I stayed there again recently we booked Kaspars and invited our son to join us for dinner and, having not dined there before, really looked forward to it. Look, its The Savoy, you expect it to be pricey, but you also expect to get what you pay for. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We found this restaurant to be a soulless experience, it lacks ambience; the food, though undoubtedly top ingredients and beautifully cooked and presented was lacklustre and uninspiring. Paying top whack is fine if you walk away feeling you have been spoilt. We didn’t.

Luckily our concierge at the Connaught requested a river view table: though a bit chilly and isolated and only occasionally attended to by a server, the location softened the razzmatazz music which boomed out from a marquee in the middle of the bar. This was a Wednesday night for crying out loud, not a weekend. Nearby diners were cupping their ears to hear one another. And no this was not, "When I grow to old to dream" or "An angel sang in Berkeley Square"; this was the sort of 'let it rip' stuff that brought Tom Jones fame. The wine, a St. Aubin 1er cru I think, was superb and my wife's lobster linguini, out of this world good. Such a lovely venue, if only the ambience lived up to it.

Ok only ok unfortunately thought as this was at the Savoy hotel it would be exceptional unfortunately it was only average the services was good staff accommodating and friendly. My husband had the Dover sole which was cold served on a cold plate. The room was cold which I suppose I could have asked to be moved but didn’t want to do this once you are seated. Restaurant almost empty no atmosphere not the experience we were hoping for. Food average would not go back again

We went for a treat pre-theatre earlyish on a Saturday. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the wine was superb. Of course, you pay through the nose for all of this - but it was really good fun and we don't get out much so worth it! Thank you!

When you come to the place that charges 40-50 pounds for the small portion of fish or meat you expect the food to be outstanding. Or at least very good. But our starters were very average- and again tiny. And in the mains we ordered the hallibut tasted like a piece of wood . The meat was average again. It seems to be one of the posh plsces were people go for ambience. But not for good food.

Last Sunday, we all came to Kaspar’s to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. From the moment we arrived, everything was first class. We were shown to our table and how lovely to find a special gift for my daughter, so thoughtful. The service from our waiter and sommelier was outstanding . The recommendations for food and wine were very helpful. We all enjoyed the evening so much. The old style glamour of The Savoy is always so fabulous and the atmosphere here always welcoming and inclusive. This restaurant is truly special and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you to all who made this evening so delightful. You are all stars .

Waitress Janell and Sommelier Rosaria made our meal even more wonderful than just a gastronomic feast they entertained us all evening and where a joy, they deserve much praise for there enthusiasm and attention to detail

We visited Kaspars for dinner yesterday evening to celebrate my friends birthday.

We visited for Sunday lunch and were welcomed very well however as soon as we entered the restaurant there was a smell of cooking that permeated the whole area, this needs to be addressed as it clings to your clothes.

Spent a lovely lunch in this Oyster bar and seafood restaurant in this lovely art deco-styled establishment in the Savoy hotel.. definitely a return meal

What a wonderful lunch we had here during our stay at The Savoy! I had the Quinoa to start which was delicious, followed by the cod which was again excellent. I could not manage anything else but my husband had the strawberry dessert which looked wonderful. The wine was delicious. The service was superb....our waiter was the most friendly and efficient we have ever come across. We had dinner at Helene Darroze the evening before which had been very disappointing - I cannot believe the difference in the food....if that has 2 Michelin stars, then Kaspar’s should have 3!! The ambience and the decor were wonderful. Thank you for a memorable lunch . Highly recommended!!

I dined here with my sister for Sunday lunch in August 2019. This was my third time eating in here - we thoroughly enjoyed it the last time around October 2018, and my TripAdvisor review of that meal still reminds me so. On this occasion though we were here for lunch because I had a flight to catch in the evening - this was a last treat for my summer holiday. We had a reservation made online beforehand, and we were quickly seated by the kind hostess when we arrived, who was very friendly chatting to us because she was from Ireland as well.

Four family members were here to celebrate a graduation. Kaspers did not disappoint. The setting was perfect, the service impeccable and the food was mouthwatering delicious

Comfortable seating, well spaced tables. Great service and great fresh food. Plus if your staying at the Savoy you get to use the other facilities on offer. During the breakfast and luncheon service you also have great views down towards the Thames. (on a clear day!!)

Con mia moglie abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata cenando in questo ristorante situato all'interno del Savoy, uno tra i più famosi hotel del mondo. Dopo un cocktail Martini abbiamo preso squisiti gamberi e caviale Beluga con blindi. A seguire un piatto di pesce misto con una deliziosa salsa di alghe e l'aragosta più' squisita che abbia mai mangiato. Il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di Paul Roger. Per desser tortino alla crema di limone e fragole con crema di vaniglia. Un porto eccellente ci è stato servito per gustare meglio i dolci. Nel lussuoso bar adiacente un trio ci allietava con musica live di sotto fondo. Servizio accurato, ma non freddo. Da provare almeno una volta nella vita.

We visited this restaurant for lunch it is a beautiful room with a luxurious feel about it. There was a little confusion when we arrived as they presumed we were there for the afternoon tea and we were sent up to the bar as they were still setting up, however they quickly apologised once they released we were there for the restaurant! The food and wine were great and the oysters were fabulous and very fresh. The staff were very good and attentive to the right level. Would definitely recommend and revisit

Me and my partner visited for his birthday and the whole experience was outstanding. We had the set menu and it was luxurious. The food is outstanding and the service impeccable. It was a wonderful treat and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I will definitely be returning.

My daughter and myself visited here for pre-theatre dinner on a double birthday outing to London. Our waiter was charming and very amusing and made the whole meal more special. The food itself was wonderful (choice of 2 or 3 course set meals or a la carte) and delivered unhurriedly but on time for the start of our trip to the Savoy Theatre next door. An excellent venue (and the afternoon teas in the next room looked amazing too) and it was topped off with a mini birthday cake complete with lighted candle. Would thoroughly recommend.

Brought my cousin for breakfast as a birthday treat on 24.08.2019. Kaspers was absolutely lovely. I cannot fault the service we received in Kaspers. The food was delicious. I had the Crab Benedict which I thoroughly enjoyed. I love the Art Deco theme. There is one point I have to make which should be looked. Upon arriving there was not a member of staff waiting in order for us to confirm we had a reservation. We waited and still no staff showed. Eventually two girls walked over however were talking between themselves and did not acknowledge us. We continued to wait by this point one had come right over to where we were standing by where the computer or pad whatever is used on the stand. And still did not acknowledge us. A simple apologies I will be with you in a moment would have helped. This was extremely frustrating, my cousin had to say something in order to be acknowledged. Not the best start to our experience. Not what would be expected of the staff especially when you come to The Savoy. However it may just have been unfortunate timing for us. I would definitely recommend breakfast as Kaspers and would love to return to The Savoy one day.

This is an elegant restaurant with beautiful Art Deco decor in the stately Savoy Hotel. We visited twice and both times found the food of a high standard. Best dishes included their lobster bisque and Dover sole. Prices are high which would be fine if the service and ambience matched the food.

The setting of this restaurant is incredible. Housed within the stunning Savoy hotel, upon arrival you are submersed with the quality, history and pomp of all that is the Savoy.

Kaspar ‘s serves some of the best food you’ll find in London. The Dover Sole is the best I have had and we dine out frequently in London, Paris and New York. This is an elegant restaurant with beautiful Art Deco decor and the highest service level. Highly recommend eating at this fine dining establishment in the Savoy hotel when you are in London.

Lovely restaurant in the heart of the Savoy Hotel. It is hard to believe that you are just a few yards from The Strand with all the hustle and bustle. Room is well laid out with all the tables offering good space and privacy. Menu is dominated by seafood but there are some options if you prefer meat.

We enjoyed a superb evening celebrating with our four children, their other halves and two eldest grandchildren - 12 in total. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere in the Savoy Restaurant was really great on that Friday evening. We were greatly helped with arrangements for the evening by going for dinner the previous week and meeting Enzo Marin, Max, Matilda, Rosanna the Sommelier and Sophie, who is in charge of the cocktail bar. The highest praise must go to our server, Marianna, who worked tirelessly and effectively and cheerfully for us all for the whole evening

While at the Savoy we enjoyed breakfast at Kaspar’s. Very typical English food and service. Nothing is quick, but pleasantly measured service.

This is such an elegant building and passing through the flower filled tea room where a pianist played the grand piano was a delight start. Kasper’s decor is more muted with rich green velvet seating and crystal lights. The staff and their service are exceptional. We were a group of friends celebrating our get together with a pre theatre meal. I had salmon and risotto as did one of my friends. Others had cod and guinea fowl It was delicious and everyone else was equally satisfied with their dishes. The wines were good as were the coffees.  Two of us enquired if they served Affogato. The waiter checked and although it wasn’t on their menu, when we described what it was, a Savoy version was produced for us. A complete delight.

You walk through the afternoon tea room to the restaurant overlooking the Thames. Beautiful Art Deco and with Kaspar the cat at the entrance. As it was a birthday and we had mentioned it there was a lovely box of chocolates and card on our table. Our waiter Michael was excellent attentive and helpful with choices. The wine was lovely and not so pricey. The food was exquisite the best of the sea we had to start we shared with oysters, muscles, scallop, crab, caviar and prawns was so fresh and really divine. The half lobster also so fresh. Our main courses the Dover sole grilled to perfection and the salmon, the sides were lovely too.

After the show at the Savoy Theater, we had dinner with a friend at Kaspers. It was excellent service and all of us enjoyed our meals, including dessert. How can you go wrong at the Savoy!

Rude and arrogant members of staff in kaspers. During breakfast my wife ended up in tears, and feeling to be made unwelcome and looked down upon. Yes, though a 5*, there's is no need to be pretentious. Even after a complaint nothing was resolved, nor an apology nor even a smile. Having stayed in some of the worlds most luxurious hotels, the customer service was shocking. Definitely would not recommend to anyone when children of 3 years of age. Maybe it's the fact we aren't white Upper class.

La primera vez en Kaspars, pero no será la última. Mariscos de alta cocina con excelentes ostras frescas, langostas escocesas perfectamente cocinadas y deliciosos postres. No es barato, pero vale la pena cada gasto!

It's been almost 2-years since I last visited The Savoy. This time it was a leisurely Sunday afternoon in June for my friends and I, three of whom are sisters who we rarely have the opportunity to see and spend time with, let alone together. So leisurely but pleasurely in the best way possible.

The food is fantastic and the attention to to detail from the staff is unparalleled. Great place to read the morning paper and plan your day!

Well what can I say ... met upon arrival, taken to exclusive bar... great menu.....love the Dover Soul... best I've even eaten in London. If I could give 10 stars I would. Class ...beyond words ! Love this restaurant with views over the Thames.

Really top class restaurant. Entering via the Savoy Hotel is classic in itself. Food amazing and service impeccable.

I don’t normally write reviews and being a fortunate individual who gets to dine out in some great London restaurants with excellent service, it becomes difficult to differentiate one from another. However, the quality of the food (and service from Roberto) at Kaspar’s was exemplary. I couldn’t fault any of it. My wife even said that it was best lunch out we have had. I appreciate that when you are dining at the Savoy you expect the best but I have been disappointed in the past from some other equally famous London hotels. Roberto your attentiveness was spot on without being oppressive or overbearing. You added to the occasion.

Booked Kaspar's for my wife's birthday dinner and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The restaurant exudes a classic charm and is immediately a enjoyable place to be. Staff were attentive, friendly and acknowledged my wife's birthday. As you would expect, the menu is well designed and the wine list is extensive. A minor mix up with our starters being delayed, we barely noticed while enjoying our wine and it was more than made up to us by our lovely waitress. When the food arrived, it was well worth the wait.

We are from the states and the first thing you notice is the hotel itself. Old and stately which sets the atmosphere. Greeted promptly and asked if we wanted to check our jackets. Walking through the center restaurant which had a piano player adding to the lovely feeling. On the other side is Kaspers. The service was immediate. Since Kaspers was known for fish we both ordered Dover sole and Cod. Both were excellent. The chocolate dessert was decadent. I did not give this a 5 star because of two incidents. When the bread basket came one piece of bread had obviously been at another table since a part of the bread was broken off and had been returned to the basket. The kitchen didn’t check. The other was due to the sommelier. A second glass of wine was requested but he seemed to be more interested in another table where the patrons were ordering multiple bottles of liquor. So by the time he remembered us we had already finished our meal so we declined the second drink. In lieu of his poor service we would definitely come back to Kaspers when we are in London again.

The Savoy is often singled as somewhere to go for a special treat but the cost of eating there may put some people off. This shouldn’t be the case as if is really worth every penny.

We had a fantastic experience at Kaspars at the Savoy. The pre theatre menu was excellent. I Would Definitely recommend it. The staff were very attentive and courteous. We were overwhelmed with the generous and thoughtful card and gift you presented us with. It made our whole experience one we will always remember. Thank you Kaspars.

Following a very poor experience on Boxing Day I was invited back to Kaspar’s to experience how it should be. Well, in a word, it was delightful! Great service, fantastic food and wonderful ambiance! It was as if we were in an entirely different establishment. Well done to Kaspar's management for acknowledging that sometimes they don’t get it right and doing their upmost to make amends. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!

It was a truly fantastic all-round experience. Rosaria, our waitress was extremely professional; confident and knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu with recommendations for superb wine. She was so engaging and attentive to our group and it was a pleasure to see the whole team working so well together.

We dined at Kaspers to celebrate our mother's birthday and we were not disappointed. Food quality and choice was excellent and the service was outstanding throughout. Special thanks to Anup who looked after us and who made our dining experience extra special. We look forward to returning soon!

Outstanding service, fine, imaginative food and a wonderful setting - we had the table d'hote menu (again) and it was excellent as usual. Pretty quiet on a Tuesday and so we had a view of the river as well. Great value and yet always feels like a treat.

Lovely elegant classic restaurant, dress code smart casual. I wore trousers with shirt and a blazer. This was a lunchtime visit and we chose off the set menu which was £36 for 2 courses or £42 for 3 courses. I chose the quail breast with braised salsify, red chicory confit leg to start. The presentation was excellent and it tasted delicious. For the main I chose the guinea fowl supreme with foie gras, macadamia nut and winter vegetables. I chose a side order of spring truffle mashed potatoes to go with the dish. The presentation again was excellent and tasted delicious. We chose a bottle of white wine la loupe grenache blanc , pay d'oc France £36 which was very nice and complimented the meal very well. The service was excellent and ambience of the restaurant too. All in all a great experience. Will be returning as enjoyed so much.

Extremely friendly staff. I followed the waitress's recommendations and had the crab and caviar appetizer, followed by the halibut. Delicious. Wonderful chocolate birthday cake and lovely bday gift. Very elegant.

Having previously visited we decided to take friends for a pre theatre dinner. Ambience of the restaurant is excellent and our server was very friendly. We opted for the a la carte choice which isn't cheap but we wanted the extra choices and we knew we were in the Savoy so weren't expecting budget prices. Super wine list and the wines we eventually chose were well priced for the quality.

What a meal ! Fantastic service and welcoming at Kaspar we had the lobster linguine and it was a delight ! Will definitely come back for more linguine ;))) thanks to the French manager and his great wine recommandations we were made feel at home ! Merci :)

Notre troisième visite dans ce restaurant du prestigieux hôtel Savoy. Une petite attention et un mot charmant du personnel à l’occasion de notre anniversaire de mariage, très touchant. Le service fut presque irréprochable (Petite faute d’inattention il a fallu réclamer pour avoir les verres de vin commandés avec le plat principal mais rien de dramatique) Une carte bien fournie, les fruits de mer sont toujours à l’honneur. Pour cette fois nous cependant avons opté pour une formule entrée/plat/dessert en prenant les vins au verre en fonction des plats choisis. Les choix du sommelier furent excellent. Cuisine fine et produits de qualité. A partir de 14h vous profitez de la musique du pianiste de l’afternoon tea dans le magnifique salon voisin. Addition en rapport avec le prestige des lieux mais des moments partagés qu’on n’oublie pas. Superbe.

One of the most memorable meals I've had. The Savoy is breath taking, so beautiful and like stepping back in time. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The service was exceptional and the food fantastic. We had a seafood platter, followed by a starter and I had linguine for my main course. All were faultless and timing between each course just right. After our meal we had some cocktails in the bar, which were lovely.

The setting is perfect for a romantic meal. The staff could not do enough for us, really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food looked and tasted amazing. Such a great atmosphere.

We visited Kaspars, finally, as we had to cancel twice, one being that the eldest had chundered the evening meal of Margarita pizza all over his bed the night before and we couldn’t leave their poor Uncle to deal with another night of sickness, the second time we had to postpone as my dear Husband managed to stick a drill into his finger so ended up in A&E.; Third time lucky, although this time the youngest had not done a TT for a couple of days so, Uncle was a little hesitant and uneasy at the prospect of changing a volatile nappy! He had Grandad on telephone standby for a crash course in changing nappies if need be but thankfully, luck was on his side and there were no mishaps!

Booked a table for my family as a birthday treat. First time at the Savoy not a place I would think of going to when in London but now I have if I won the Lottery I would book a table weekly before our meal we enjoyed looking round the hotel and at photo's of all the famous people who have stayed there in the past, all of us agreed our food was excellent the staff most helpful and friendly but still able to deliver brilliant service in fact when I get the lottery I will book a table twice a week

We visited Kaspars in December and it was an absolute disaster however after leaving a truthful review which was confirmed by the management, I was offered the opportunity to revisit with a 50% discount (yes, it was that bad!). I’ve now tried to book a table for over a week now and just keep getting fobbed off. Clearly the offer was made just to ensure the reviews weren’t affected. I don’t usually write negative reviews but it was truly atrocious food and service but I was happy to return so the restaurant could redeem itself. My expectation was they would honour their offer to me since I paid hundreds of pounds for essentially a stale burger, a piece of fish, some cheese and a few soft drinks. Even the coffee was undrinkable.

We didn't like the hostesses behaviour in the front desk, quite haughty, because we didn't book, they made us wait and checked while we were sitting... Then they show us our table, service was little rushed and not always smiling and we didn't deserved a table with a table cloth apparently as some guests had table clothes.. Not our table, why?

We ate twice at Kaspar's and enjoyed every second of our lunches and dinners: Advice: if you are undecided what you should try...go for the Dover Sole from the Lava grill.....a delight!!!

We went for my husbands birthday meal and had a truly wonderful experience! The flavours of the meal were totally amazing!! & a surprise treat as we said it was his birthday!

We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Kaspars – the restaurant at the Savoy hotel which overlooks the Thames. We weren’t lucky enough to enjoy a river view, but certainly enjoyed a delicious meal. We opted for the scallops, then the Black Angus fillet with truffle mash and the Goat’s cheese curd followed by the Loch Duart Salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly, but, for my partner, the truffle mash was the stand out dish!

Hmmm, luckily it was not me who invited. Magnificent decor and ambiance. Food is far from spectacular. Between 5 of us we had a good try of mains and starters. Starters in general better than mains but you would be happier by far in most of Michelin rated restaurants. Good bread and butter with two bottles of Gigondas helped digest £1000 bill. I am afraid I will not come back.

Increible lugar para cenar, de lo mejor que hay en Londres, el Hotel SAVOY es toda una tradicion no solo en Londres, si no en el Reino Unido, cerca de la zona de teatros y la plaza trafalgar, es muy costoso eso si, pero vale la pena, ideal para celebraciones.
