Gaucho Piccadilly in City of London, Westminster

The service in the bar was very poor - lots of staff but no-one bothering to take our drinks order. However, in the restaurant the service was very good.

The food is greats, the bread, the burrata and the meat, best chimichurri sauce I ever had!! The cocktails are great too!!

I went for brunch with a group of 4. The drinks were exceptional and free-flowing. The food was pretty good, but there were some things on the menu that were not as memorable. The sausages were exceptional. It is important to clarify with the waiter any preferences you might have. Our table, for instance, did not want blood sausages. We should have advised the waiter of this ahead of time. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Had a wonderful dinner here last night. We were hosted by Diana, who was very nice and responsible. She took my lactose intolerance seriously, which surprised me a bit. The food was nice, especially the salmon taco and mashed potatoes.

We arrived and it was meant to be 5 people on the table however we got a table of 4… also we didn’t get served our drinks for about 20 minutes so we just left. However the manage did give us free drinks and starters which was nice.

It’s been a long time since I have been to Gaucho. We all enjoyed our meals and every steak tasted great. We’ll be back.

The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. Get the wagu empanadas. BEST I’ve ever had.

It's not cheap but the food is pretty good and the atmosphere is perfect. We like to go for dinner as a lot of people go for cocktails before going to the club next door, The Cuckoo Club, and the atmosphere is very good. @nerea.iglesiasss

Place for lunch is not nice Like for the dinner, service today was 👎I don’t know what happened.

Good service, quality food, only let down by cold plates which made the food cool down. We did mention this and were told they come out of a dispenser like this. Small details which could have made a good meal better

We always go to Gaucho every time we come to London. Food was always wonderful and wine selection was awesome, Our server Bianca was so warm and attentive, and she made our visit extra special.

What could’ve been a great dining experience with my family left us instead with disappointment after realizing our server disposed of our leftovers. I guess I assumed wrong that they would offer a box since there were at least 8 big slices of meat still on the board. The manager was kind enough to replace them and offer desert on the house but the negative experience tainted the evening. To top it all off, the meat was under cooked, cold and not as flavorful as the meats I have had while visiting Argentina. Maybe I expected a lot from this establishment.

We went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner (Saturday 05/OCT) and we were two. The location is particular and welcoming. The food was very very good: variety of beef and very high quality, even the cooking was perfect; the fries were delicious. Our server, Krzysztof was friendly, outgoing and very professional. He suggested to me the dessert: the cheesecake and it was the perfect end of the meal. The restaurant is in an optimal position to visit London and the prices are good considering the quality of food and the fact it is in Piccadilly.

Everything about this restaurant is impressive. The food was incredible, amazing service, and a vibrant atmosphere! The staff are so friendly and inviting, especially Marie and Eduardo. The salmon tacos as a starter were an excellent recommendation from the staff. Some of the best tacos I have ever tasted. Will definitely be coming back.

Edoardo was an absolute legend, looked after us so well and made our brunch the part of a perfect day! Highly recommend.

It’s something like a ceremony to visit Gaucho at Picadilly once yearly. Service and atmosphere excellent as always. I wasn't too satisfied with my Meat it wasn't how it was clocked but it was primarily the quality of the piece. Both we had the chorizo of 500g but with different cook medium rare and well done.

Relaxing atmosphere, elegant place. The food was amazing! We have been served by Silvia, really good service ( i reccomend her). Thank you Silvia, and thank you guys you are doing an amazing job.

The Picadilly Gaucho is a nice one to go to, it was the first one I ever went to, tucked away off Regent Street like a well kept secret. After a busy day shopping our cocktails were a welcome relief from pounding the streets. And the signature dishes were as good and consistent as always, so much taste. Overall a lovely evening and one to be repeated soon.

If you’re looking for a steak, The Food in this place is amazing and the steaks are well seasoned and perfect portions. And the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly, as everyone was singing happy birthday and getting involved for the celebrations. Not to mention the service was incredible, with our Server Edoardo who made our night very enjoyable, with his friendly and caring energy. Edoardo really made this a 5 star experience for us. Ben G

I went with my husband to Gaucho in Piccadilly for an aperitif... We were greeted and served divinely by the bartender who offered us a fantastic Watermelon spritz and a Chimichurri Margarita... The experience is absolutely to be repeated.

An amazing evening from start to finish, lovely receptionist found a table for us on Saturday night! The food was on another level! Gauchos hospitality is really 5* we will be back !

Service poor. Candle not lit at table. Food very mediocre with the exception of the scallops which were tiny but quite good. Steak was decent quality but the chimichuri lacked any bite.Took ages to get the bill Oh and to add insult to injury they charge for bread!

The booking as a whole was not a great experience. Our waiter was absolutely lovely however there were only 2 waiters working so he was rushed off his feet which left us waiting for service. The ambience lacked massively, there weren’t a lot of tables booked which I am aware can’t be guaranteed however there was not a lot of entertainment on offer other than a DJ in the corner. We were provided with the full list of starters off the menu and had to request this. I have been to this brunch a few years ago and it was great but it definitely is not as good anymore.

Edoardo, the Italian guy, was very kind and helpful from the moment we sat down at the table. Super friendly and the presentation of the meat was excellent and precise. We immediately felt welcome and treated very well. for the food I think I have never eaten such good meat if I could give 6 stars I would gladly give them.

If you love a juicy steak and a bottle of well-balanced Melbec and of course not on a strict budget, this is a nice little quiet spot nestled away right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus. The service staff are welcoming and knowledgeable.

My whole experience at Gaucho Piccadilly was poor. I was expecting a bit more from such a lovely restaurant. I was celebrating my 40th birthday there and table was booked for 14 people. Apart from being warmed welcomed at reception desk, I was not offered anything special from restaurant. This was very disappointing. I was working 10 years in hospitality and have seen many birthday parties and I know what to expect. Unfortunately, not this time which is quite sad. Not even simple brownie with a candle! Apart from that service was very poor. Waiter seemed to be very busy and stressed. He avoided an eye contact when we tried to call him to orderore drinks. Food came very late, mains came without side orders( they arrived 20min later). Kids had to wait for their meal until we finished our sarters. My husband and his colleagues ordered expensive Whiskey and first round was what they've ordered and then bar people decided to give them something cheaper, thinking that they will not tell the difference, but they did. This was reported to the waiter, who then came back with new Drinks which tasted better. How weird is that. The only good think about this whole experience was that food was actually very tasty, so complements to the chef. We've spend there a lot of money (£ 1060 including service charge ) so I was expecting a bit more from you guys. Lastly and sadly will never be back and won't recommend you guys to my friends.

A business lunch - we had the sea bass (excellent grilled and moist) and the burger (excellent according to my guest) followed by the most delicious cheesecake with cherry sauce. Would have given an overall five star rating on the food. The service was professional but over a 80 minutes lunch we had at least five different servers that meant that we had to be patient in order to get noticed. But we will be back.

I went back with my parents to have dinner, and everything was amazing, same as last time. We were served again by Bruno, and his service was exceptional again.
