The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Very strange “service”from man behind bar with hat on. Okay let’s be straight here - his lack of friendliness and customer service was awful. If I could give zero for service I would. He got the bill wrong for 3 beers (pretty simple order!) - I corrected him, it took about 7 minutes of me hanging around while this error on his behalf was sorted. I didn’t even get a word of apology. We left - plenty of other places about with great service. Won’t be back.

Came here for our Birthdays, food sooo yummy, forgot to take pictures. Staff so friendly and especially Denise, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Could not fault anything. Even made a fuss of our dog Trixie too. Thank you so much. We will come back. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

Acogí una cena de negocios aquí por recomendación de un conocido, y fui con expectativas razonables y de buen humor. Era bastante temprano en una tranquila noche de lunes y normalmente uno podría hacer concesiones para eso, especialmente si es un restaurante informal. Si todos se esfuerzan, instintivamente me resisto a publicar una crítica negativa. Pero no esta vez, la experiencia olía a "no nos importa", y sugiero que en el negocio de la hospitalidad, eso es simplemente inaceptable.

Troppo costoso per la qualità .Dolci pessimi.Abbiamo mangiato cervo/ agnello / sandwich di aragosta , non ricordo esattamente il nome dei dolci.Nessun piatto era all’altezza di un ristorante così famoso

We had the platter for 2. Great food, tasty, the meat was hot and cooked to perfection. Lovely art work around the restaurant, lovely staff, good service and vibrant, light atmosphere.

A lot of hype around the restaurant, but unfortunately was more style over substance during our visit. Despite a large number of staff working, long wait be offered a drink at the bar (we were one of 3 couples there as arrived at the start of the evening so not busy). Some other guests clearly disappointed with the location of their table in the middle of the walkway of the staff so would recommend asking for a table by the window. The fish was decent but when you charge £38 for the veal milanese without sides, I was expecting more than it delivered. Overall, for the price, would expect more and a slightly disappointing experience.

My favourite place to eat in Coventry - We come here all the time. The staff are nice, super helpful and food is always delicious. Definitely recommend the bulgogi beef and the honey chicken tenders.

Such a wonderful restaurant, the food is outstanding and the service is the best around! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants the best Indian food in Essex :)

Juicy meat, delish and big servings! They are also on other takeaway apps so you can have your cravings in the comfort of your homes. Truly recommend the chicken pirzola and lamb ribs! 😍 Has anyone tried the liver? im curious!

First time visit for myself and family last night. Travelled from Bolton and it was well worth the journey. Even though there appeared to be a wedding in the function room, the food was delivered nice and quick. We decided to make it a curry and spice night and every mouthful was amazing. The staff are all so happy and friendly. Speaking to a lady at the next table and she was recommending things and says she visits every other weekend (very nice lady). We can not wait for our next visit. Gutted we didn't take pictures of the food, but we just wanted to tuck in.

Monday evening meal. Had the special offer and didn't regret it. Large amount of high quality food at a reasonable price. Staff were very good. I would recommend and I will go again.

We went for a Christmas works party. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and the manager was amazing, so kind and hospitable. A real old school pub with a modern twist. We all had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend.

We’ve been many times now on our visits but took some friends who hadn’t been before , they loved it . I can not recommend this enough , the food is exceptional with its flavours , presentation and freshness of the fish . The doughnuts are a must !! The service was brilliant really attentive and friendly , well done guys your the whole package you should be very proud . Thankyou
