I must have had loads of indian restaurant meals in my time, but the food at Soho Tavern has been the best by far. Absolutely delicious, started off with the mixed grill then moved on to some curry dishes with the company of some work colleagues. We didn't have to wait around either. Don't stop doing what you're doing now !

Amazing food and service! We ordered the Soho Mixed Grill, butter chicken and garlic naan. Highly recommend this place to eat if you’re in Birmingham. We came all the way from London and it was totally worth it! Special thanks to Roshni and Siwani for their amazing service! I hope you both are able to see this 🙏. 10/10.

We’ve been wanting to visit since opening but it has always been very busy. We had high expectations after all the hype. to say we are disappointed is an understatement.To charge £19.90 for a boneless grill where the Sheek Kebabs are processed and rubbery is an utter rip off! the kids pizza was microwaved. The rice was not fresh. Very expensive and won’t be going again

Go here almost monthly. Never had a problem. But just brought a take out back home with me for my missus… clear as day I asked for desi butter chicken… she bites into it and it’s lamb!

Food is always 10/10 Great vegan menu Every member of staff I've spoken to is very helpful and friendly too. I wish there was one of these in south Birmingham so I didn't have to drive so far to come here

I have visited today for the first time and the place is so amazing, customer service is amazing too, since when I came in I was feeling there very comfortable. Food is cooked properly and is so delicious, spicy, heaven in my mouth 😊 I have ordered mixed grilled meat and chili chips. I will definitely will be going there again 😊👌

The icon that is Soho Tavern, is one of (if not, THE) best Indian Pubs in the UK. Incredible food and atmosphere. Family friendly and definetly a must when visiting Birmingham. I've been coming for around 7 years now and it has never disappointed.

Went for the first time with my friends. From the mock-tails to the mix grills and curries every single dish was on point. There was so many dishes on the menu to chose from and deffo going back again. The waiters were so nice and friendly as well , especially Archana.

Fish grill great, 'thorka' daal tastes suspiciously like tadka daal, paneer dishes were good, garlic cheese naan emphasised the cheese a lot. Like that MTV is playing in the background

Mixed grill is ridiculously good. The salt and pepper chips are my top tip - mouthwatering. Order from here at least once a month and it's so consistent.

Food is really good! Gave this place an all round 4 stars. Really good mix grill which has a Asian fusion combination of king prawns, chicken and lamb with a bed of onions, served on a sizzling plate. Curry's, Naan and fries are amazing as well. Really friendly customer service with a choice of cocktails. Menu easy to understand. Would have been 5 stars if there was table service. Only received 1 small plate of salad in a group of 4 people. Location with limited but that's minor and nothing can change that. Finally, renovation was happening during service and treading mess through the building.

Great food, excellent atmosphere just one problem : we booked a party of 14 for a birthday.. we were told to leave after 2 hours this is really poor as it took us about 45 minutes to order our food one we said hello to all our guest. The kitchen queue to order food was crazy long our food took ages to come. once we had just finished eating we were asked to leave. Our guest had travel from Solihull and the wider part of the West Midlands.. I think if you are booking larger groups more time should be allowed…or even ask guest to book for a private space up to 4 hours.

The food was spot on we ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala and Punjabi Lamb dish with nan and roti. The food was great but the staff were fun to talk too and a great laugh especially Jas. Roshni and Siwani are all hard workers and some are in training but very attentive and should be promoted to full time staff members as they provided great service. Will definitely return again.

This was the best food, especially when it is Halal. Muslims should go here! The food, like the Samosa Chaat, was delicious! Better try one of their food! One downside is the service because we had to stay long in the queue, even though people were entering with their permission. I mean the food’s GREAT! Better try it!

What a great spot. We were passing by on our journey back from Birmingham to London and had heard great things. The food and service surpassed my expectations and the veggie mixed grills in particular were probably the best I’ve had. The young trainee working there was really polite and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone.

I went to the toilet to wash my hands before eating. No soap, no paper towels and filthy. Table we sat at had not been wiped or cleaned. Now for the food which was just as disappointing. I read previous reviews and the food is well over hyped. They use way too much red chilli powder. There are plenty other grills around West Brom. So best avoid this place. I've only given 1 star as there is not an option to give 0 stars. My experience was very poor. And I will never be returning anytime soon. I felt I was in India in some outback village as opposed to the UK. I would very much like to see their food rating displayed

A great spot with great food, the portions were large and served fairly quickly despite it being quite busy. Factoring in the prices this is a great all round place. Staff were friendly and accommodating it's no surprise this place was packed.

I travel from Milton Keynes regularly to eat the mixed grills here, one of the best I have ever had. Cannot this place more!

We are a regular at this place. It serves one of the best Indian cuisine in town. Apart from the food the staff is also very cordial. I would specially like to appreciate Jas Karan for his promptness. Though we visited on Saturday around 8 being the busiest hours, yet Jas was very prompt and efficient to arrange for the table. And nothing to say about the food, as usual was the best. Soho grill is a must try.

4 of us went on the he 2nd day of its opening. The Pub is well laid out with plenty of seating. We went around 6.30pm and the place was already packed out. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table to which we were taken to by a member of staff. We had mixed grill and aloo tikki chaat starters followed by butter chicken, Dhal Makani, garlic nan and rice. Overall the food was fantastic. Well cooked, very tasteful and well presented. Great evening had and will 100% will be going back. I would like to thank all the staff who were great, specially Pharbjot and young Nepalese girl (sorry forgot her name) . Only one slight issue, very small parking area. Very highly recommended by our group

Went for a mixy here, food was incredible, but the service was the cherry on top! Our server, josh I think it was, very polite and respectful made our experience that much better!!! Would reccomend!
