Food was OK. Gets busy at peak times

Ive always wanted to visit here , & today was my first time. I ordered the half chicken with spicy rice , chips & salad just after 12pm, the wait time was not long at all, the server was nice & helpful , they take card payment's too (which was really handy).. the food itself was nice , however a lil surprised that it was not hot (which i think they could definitely improve on).

Very Cold and hard and over cooked food! Waste of money!!! Not good anymore!!! Will never come back here!!! They prepare food already and give you just food food!!!!

Felafel we're raw and had to change them..it's average not the best food.

Food is always tasty, filling and affordable. The wait is just too long for me these days. No matter when you go, it’s always a 20minute wait minimum.

This is a takeaway spot so don't expect seating. However - the chicken and spicy rice is some of the best you'll have in London. Anyone that orders rice from Nando's and thinks that's great will cry with joy here. The price is unbelievable, too. My meal cost just £8. Make sure you have cash - they do not accept any other form of payment. Make sure your arrive a little earlier than the time you'd like to eat - the queue for the food can literally go down the street.

Very underwhelming, I had high expectations the food came out cold and the chicken tasted like rubber.

I didn't get to try the food. I waited patiently for 20 minutes in the rain as I have driven by many of times and always seen queues. 5 mins before i ordered they put a sign up on their window saying card payment not available which I thought was odd for a business of the size. Then I saw another gentleman make payment via the contactless option right in front of me 2 minutes priort so thought it must have been a mistake on the their part. I made my order and when it came to payment the man took back the order as I didn't have cash on me. Clearly they are only doing this for tax evasion purposes. It's really disgusting behavior that he couldn't just let It go and just say next time please can you bring cash but rather waste the food and refuse custom. Clearly your target market is teenagers or cabs drivers and not older people. Be warned avoid unless you want to help this business tax avoid. This could have been handled better on your part and I do hope that this review does damage to your sales. Fortunately, I live in Camberwell where there are similar establishments who have never refused card payment.

Best restaurant for under £10 in London!

The staff do not know how to follow simple orders, you have to wait outside in the cold you’d atleast expect them to follow your order properly. Foods alright

The food is amazing but lately they have been making the boxes smaller therefore smaller portions.

Amongst the very best street foods in London, and not expensive. I've eaten in supposedly the best Lebanese restaurant in London, and it was expensive. Of course, I enjoyed it. But I also enjoy the £6 lamb wrap from this place equally. Be encouraged, rather than put off by the queue! It goes pretty quickly, because there are more than 10 serving at the grill... I don't know about falafel from this place, because I haven't tried it (and some falafel officionados say only buy your falafel from a falafel only place!), but I can tell you that their spatchcock chicken and spicy rice is also very yummy indeed, and not expensive at all. They started Windows service during the pandemic, and never left it! ;) It used to be cash only, but now they they take cards too.

Bullshit service, waited for 15 minutes in the line for a rude staff member to say they’re closed and go home. Driving an hour to this place and to be turned down 10 minutes before the closing time on google is a scam. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Waste of time to travel here. Food is average too, can get it from any other Lebanese shop.

Half chicken and spicy rice is just soooo good! Garlic and chilli sauce is a must on top. The chicken is just so divine and juicy and seasoned so well. I drive 20 minutes here for it as a treat, phone ahead and order as the queue is always super long 🤤 CASH ONLY, CARD MACHINE NEVER WORKS

Every time I’ve been there, the card machine hasn’t been working. They need to improve their business practices.

Food is good but you’ll be waiting an hour plus. That’s if you even get it. And don’t bother calling in advance it’s all the same when you get there

Went to this pkace with my younger brother recently for the first time. The food was simply amazing.

Went to London and my son took me to Lebaneses grill New Kent Rd. wow it was tasty and good value for money. I wanted to go back and get some for later. Absolutely delicious

You wait on the queue for about up to 20 min. They advertise various payment methods online. However, when you reach to the till they say “CASH ONLY!” Clearly the Google advertisement is neither client focused nor honest in this case. Then you start questioning what’s declared and undeclared so far…

Just caught the absolute worst food poisoning from this place for both me and the missus And she's pregnant to which makes it so much more dangerous They also do not swap out the tongs when dealing with cooked/ uncooked meat We're super worried Both throwing up and she's due in a few months Never coming here again!

Overhyped. They make mistakes often so you got to make sure they understand your request. 0 customer service. Not the most hygienic place too . This was the time i buy food from them

FUN!!! Honestly my first time and I loved queuing up and ordering, it reminded me of Taipei. A really fun place to get a late night dinner or meal. I would definitely come here again! Always get garlic and chilli sauce if they ask ok. Be good, well done. It's so much fun and the waiting only adds to the build up. I got Chicken wrap with chips inside soooo saucy and delicious!

One staff member asserted that they do not accept card payments, while another contradicted this claim. This confusion resulted in inconvenience and frustration, as I placed an order that was not ready upon my arrival during a particularly busy period. While I acknowledge that the establishment may have provided satisfactory service prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is evident that the quality has significantly declined since then. It is regrettable to observe this downward trend and I hope that appropriate measures will be taken to rectify the situation and restore the establishment's reputation.

Paid £12 for mixed shish rice and chips it wasn’t bad very tasty chips,lamb,chicken and salad only one thing I’d say they can do better is the portion size I paid 12 pounds and only got 4 pieces of meat not complaining but just saying could be better very nice other then that I appreciate the customer service, freshness, and kindness from the staff thank you

The boneless chicken on rice is delicious, I get why there’s a long queue outside every time I pass by. Even with the queue we got served in 10 minutes and then food took about another 10 minutes to arrive, which is impressive. We called before hand to get an idea of how long we’d have to wait and even though they were mad busy, someone answered and gave us an honest time estimate. Worth the wait even if it was longer! Prices were really fair for the amount of food and quality.

can't argue with the food, always hits the spot and the service is real quick. Only downside is its literally a takeaway, so you have to wait on the street outside the shop and its mainly cash only ( sometimes they use the card machine but its hit or miss). The queue does get really long however, the customer service is rapid so the queue does go down at a good rate. Overall, for a late night food spot, its always a good recommendation.

I’ve ordered takeaway from Lebanese Grill, and I can confidently say it’s the best food I have had so far! The flavours are incredible, with each dish bursting with freshness and authenticity. The presentation is impressive, even for takeaway, and everything arrives well-packaged and hot. The variety on the menu is fantastic, making it hard to choose just one thing! This place is always busy. I am not sure why it just seemed like a relatively cheap place to eat similar to a local takeaway you could find anywhere.

I ordered the Mixed Grill with spicy rice for £14.99 & Half Boneless Chicken with rice for £6.99. I had the mixed grill & my friend had the chicken. Mixed grill was sumptuous & juicy. The garlic & chilli sauce was for me, just right - not too strong. I’ve heard so many positive reviews from this take away place & some actually were overly hyped. But overall, good food! They don’t deliver, at least that’s what the guy over the phone told me, so if you go there, be prepared to wait for your order, the guy in the counter said 7mins, turned to 10mins. Which is still not too bad. Giving 5 stars for the food & price. As you can see, the chicken serving is massive, and for £6.99, totally worth going there for.

I dont know whats the big deal about this place. Average tasting food, small portion and expensive. You dont even get to chos3 what you want to buy they tell you this is available and force you do buy something which you dont want! Because u waited 30 mins in line you have to buy it. Becareful giving cash as they dont give the right change back. Wont be going again for sure.

Overhyped beyond belief really... I am part of that problem.... Queued up today for 20 minutes, even on a quiet Sunday to see what all the fuss is about. Standing on a scruffy sidewalk on the New Kent Rd to receive a mixed grill, which consisted of:- 1) Fried chips/fries, cooked from frozen. 2) Starchy, stuck together 'spicy' rice 3)Mixed grill? A few cubes of barbecued chicken and a flattened, dry kofta formed part of this mixed grill. If this establishment were to be in Green Lanes or Stoke Newington, it really wouldn't stand out. There wouldn't be this hype. The people in the queue, stretching around the block reminded me of the eager twits, queuing up for ages to receive their 'Covid' jab. A mediocre meal, nothing special...

The food here is absolutely brilliant, and you can tell from the crowd of people outside every night waiting for their order. Despite how busy it is, the service is pretty snappy.

This place is a well known gem that’s been around for years. You don’t come here for the glits and glamour, you come here strictly for the food! The queuing system is a bit mad sometimes and the servers occasionally mess up the orders (just tell them to replace it if this happens) BUT, that being said the food is always good and that’s what keeps this place going alone. Personally I recommend the boneless chicken with rice & salad with the choice of garlic, chilli or both. I hardly order chicken at any restaurant/takeaway at risk of it being dry but these guys get it right everytime. Tender, moist & succulent, always goes down a treat. I’ve also had the lamb which was also good. Look passed the queuing system and give this place a go, worth it for sure!

Lebanese Grill staffs are very unprofessional and rude. They don't care about customer service. Take orders over the phone but don't prepare food until customer arrives to pickup the food . Not only that if customers come to pickup food have to stand in a queue to make order again. I raised a question as I placed an order over the phone and given me time to pickup my food, why should I place order again in the counter?? Replied me there is no difference between order by phone and order in the counter. Three customers including me turned up to pick up our food but we were asked to be in the queue to make a fresh order. It was so embarrassing for us and wasted ours time. I m not happy at all the way surve the customers. Advanced and physically order should not be treated same way. I hope management will look into it. Food quality is👌 and deserves 💥💥💥💥💥

Made a phone order & I was told 10 mins, when I came for collection i saw a line stretching down to around an HOUR wait, the guys at the front were completely rude, they lied saying they don't take phone orders and told me to join the back of the line, furthermore they refused to accept card claiming cash is king,

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. I got a chicken shish with rice and chips. Food was fresh and flavourful. £11 is a bit too high in my opinion but with the way prices are going it’s understandable. I went when the place was relatively quiet but the wait was still quite long and the kitchen looked like a mess. Would appreciate some seating options

The food was absolutely stunning. We got it after a night out and it was definitely very satisfactory. I ordered, half spicy rice, half chips, lamb grill and a lamb wrap. The rice was sooo good and of course the chips were made very well. The wings were also very good How orders are taken, i believe is very disorganised and it can be very easy to get orders wrong.

I came here as I was shopping in the area. It seemed to have a queue of people so I figured it was good. I called and everything I wanted was out so they only let me chose from cents in item, I wasn’t too upset about it because the food I did end up getting was nice. It just was not what I originally wanted. The wait was so long, and there isn’t really options to dine in, but other than that, it was not a terrible experience. I just can’t see why it would be so hyped.

This people experience when you order food for a price they change the price that is the only reason I did not like customer service should change soon as possible or nobody will come to the shop ever again do not waste your money with wasted customer service thank you very much guys the food is delicious

Most of the chips and charges £22 and it is all all chips taste wise tasty but quantity is extremely low not even one skewer

Don’t bother ordering on the phone they are useless ordered on the phone when I got there I was ignored multiple times and eventually told they didn’t have what I ordered. This place has nice food but poorly managed. What’s the point in taking telephone orders if you can’t make them.

The best boneless chicken around, the chicken is succulent and the sauces are lovely. For the price and quality, there is nothing better. Queues can be annoying and a lot of the time people may shove in. Also they take only cash payments so come prepared with cash or have your card ready to go to the ATM.

If you are hungry and you are in proximity of this shop, TRY IT! The half chicken is amazing! And if you know you eating a lot, buy 2 half chicken and 1 large chips! Amazing taste!

Great food! I always get the half chicken and spicy rice. I will say however it gets super busy after around 7/8pm on any day, so be prepared to wait in a queue (but it’s worth it I promise you!)

Why, why did I break the beginning of my 7 day fast for this place? I really wish I didn't, average tasting food, honestly nothing special I ordered a Mix grill with chips, Food was almost cold, chips were little tough whilst meat was little overcooked The meat looked like it went through a meat grinder, it was chopped into tiny small pieces, not really a fan of that, don't really know if I'm getting my whole chicken shish and lamb kofta and I don't think I did! Not much for taste when food is cold I've driven past this place like 100 times and there's ALWAYS a HUGE queue, I'm confused to why that was my first and last visit
