The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Brasserie food

Been to Botanist today with my friend for lunch, food was lovely and Harry and Elliott were great, friendly and couldn't do enough to make our lunch special , thank you both 😊

As per usual had a great meal this evening at Bar and Block Whiteley. A fantastic Fillet Steak cooked to perfection. 2 for 1 cocktails as well. We were very well looked after by Phoebe as well. Great place for a lovely meal.

Great gig venue upstairs. Staff really friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere and there's always been loo roll in the ladies when I've visited.

We came for a 1 night stay due to work. This hotel has a luxurious ambient vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The attention to detail is fantastic. We dined in the bar and grill and the staff were fantastic. Every single staff member we encountered from the reception to bar to dining were fantastic. The room itself (super king) was spacious comfortable and clean. The decor was very nice. Our meal in the bar and grill was outstanding so compliments to the chef. The rump roast beef was one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had. I have gone out of my way to write this review because the staff deserve it and nowadays with money being tight across the board people want to great service and this is what we were given. Will be returning and recommending to all friends and family

Amazing place. Was visiting just for a day, for basketball tournament, decided to come down for victory drinks and meal. Just wow… Food was so delicious and amazing portions for the value. Staff is very welcoming and make u feel at home. Highly recommended to visit if you are passing buy or staying in Birmingham. Thank you guys

Stopped here recently for a full English breakfast, seating was outside only due to current restrictions. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was lovely. Customer toilet available inside. Would recommend to others, all very clean and friendly staff.

Tucked away and often overlooked, Grizzlers is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight! If you're looking for affordable yet delicious food, this is the place to be. The buffalo wings are a standout item—lovely and bursting with flavor. They strike the perfect balance between crispy and juicy, making them a must-try for any wing lover. The Piri Piri chips were also nice, offering a delightful crunch and a hint of spice that pairs well with just about anything on the menu. While the Jamaican rub wings didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally, they were still enjoyable and had a unique flavor profile that fans of Caribbean spices might appreciate. I also tried the Juicy Lucy burger, which was nice, though I found the beef patty a bit thick for my liking. The cheese oozing out made it a fun experience, but I would have preferred a slightly thinner patty to better appreciate the other flavors. One of the true highlights was the tater tots. These little bites of joy were incredibly good—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would highly recommend them as a side or even a snack on their own! Overall, Grizzlers offers a fantastic dining experience with a cozy atmosphere and a menu that won’t break the bank. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by—you won’t regret it!

Cocktails at the beginning of the meal were great. Wine selection, across the board, is too limited for a Michelin star restaurant. And what you get is far too expensive for the quality. I had the German Riesling for 80 pounds (second most expensive wine on the list) and that’s a bottle that in terms of quality should have a retail price of no more than 15 pounds (my guess). You should really get advice from a good sommelier and fix the wine selection problem. Food and service were outstanding.

Extremely tasty grilled chicken is my favourite. Always tasty cooked well. Have different spicy levels along with other meal deals

Good food at decent prices. Sadly let down a bit by the service. We were asked about 7 times in 10 mins if we were ready to order. We just wanted to chat and enjoy our cocktails for a bit first. Other than that a great buzz and good food.

Nice ambience relaxed but for price not the best Lobster bisque ok prawn cocktail ok but the lamb rack no very thin no taste yes you serve raw for best lol but it had no taste and too fatty maybe cheap lamb rack tasted better in Malaysia NZ lamb takes some Beating Welsh yes but this did not have the substance And not happy they put service charge on booking first Yes they ask when present bill and to shame you when with guest If was alone I would have told them to stuff it My god had better at the old berni inns

Beautiful desi food! Tastes fresh and even better the next day! I got the Gola kebab as starter with the garlic mushrooms (without cream), and the lamb karahi for mains, absolutely worth it! Service could have been a bit better, the waiters didn’t have much chat, one of my friends meal was cold but otherwise was lovely
