Excellent food and the service, especially that from Asim was great. The loaded nachos highly recommended.

Yesterday, my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Chickaros Glasgow close to Iftar time during Ramadan, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The professionalism and top-notch customer service delivered by the staff truly stood out. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by Adam, a fantastic member of the team. His hospitality immediately made us feel comfortable and valued. Before even taking our food order, Adam kindly offered us fruits and dates to break our fast – such a thoughtful and considerate gesture that took the customer service experience above and beyond expectations. He not only took our order efficiently but also engaged in friendly conversation, making the entire experience feel personal and pleasant. A special mention also goes to Teegan, another lovely staff member, whose positive attitude and excellent service brought smiles to our faces. Both Adam and Teegan deserve recognition for their dedication and attention to detail. As for the food – it has never failed to impress! Always cooked to perfection, served promptly, and consistently delicious. No delays, no disappointments – just quality dining. Got a takeaway and it was absolutely terrible, the worst I've had in a long time. Chicken and chips, just a roasted chicken breast covered in a bland sauce and chips soggy like tissue paper. Ordered a taco expecting beef but was donner meat, my mistake but it was rotten anyway. Chucked it in the bin.

Such a great place to eat, the food is delicious and the entire restaurant has a cozy yet a ‘night out in vegas vibe’. The staff are so friendly, and the waiter we had both times we visited, Asim, proper made the experience. So funny and sets you at ease. Overall, great wee place for a night out

Food came quickly, very decent portions.

I heard mixed review about this place but me and my husband really enjoyed the food (coming from a fussy eater). It tasted fantastic and reasonable portion size. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We got their popular one shot chicken parmesan and chicka mixed meat, the mocktail tasted really nice too. Id defiantly be back.

There was one big party and a couple of other tables but mostly empty. Firstly, they kept me waiting for 5minutes without a greeting even though they weren’t busy dealing with customers. I realised why when the camp guy approached and started saying something about a delivery.. mate I want to eat I’m not a bloody just eat driver no wonder you didn’t greet me! Secondly they seated me on a table which had a broken side! Thirdly when they asked me how I wanted my lamb chops I should have left then. I want them cooked please. Who has medium lamb chops?! The lamb chops were like rubber and the macaroni side looked like packet cheesy pasta with extra cheese and oil chucked in. In response to the owners reply: You should greet whoever enters straight away not 5min late. A nice greeting is hello.. regardless if they are a paying customer or a driver… then how can I help you? The table is clearly broken, your head waiter was aware because I switched sides so my coat didn’t tera against the broken edging. I haven’t abused anyone I just described the guy as camp! I’m never coming back to your establishment after that response so why would I email you? Great customer service mate well done

Fantastic. Ordered burger wings and lamb chops. Firstly it was so obvious that everything was super fresh! Really clean and great portions. I did a take away and I was very happy. Staff fantastic too. Thank you

Lovely atmosphere, amazing food and outstanding customer service from our waiter Asim, this guy should be a comedian. This was my first time going to this place and it honestly hit the spot, I am a hard person to satisfy when it comes to food and first impressions with new places to dine at. Would recommend to others who are also hard to please.

Hands down the worst restaurant in the whole country wow everything is straight from frozen and tastes so bland and terrible suprised this place even has a franchise running with the food they put out absolutely shocking

Chicken steak came out very soft and delicious. Just ask for fries separately they become soggy with all the sauce. Otherwise, good value for money.

First time here this evening with my son and daughter in law. Wow! I food was delicious. Service was first class and the restaurant is lovely. Can truly say we're all looking forward to our next visit.

They hide the bad reviews so don't take these good reviews seriously. Food is terrible, staff are rude and well if they hide bad reviews that should make it obvious

Everything is up to the mark. The beef stake have real flavour of meat. Very well balance sauces and excellent presentation. Great service by Br. Asim very well done.

Food ordered: Steak + chicken parm Dynamite prawns Donner kebabish "Beef" Steak textured like lamb, and too thin to justify a £30 ticket. Seems the steaks been sliced down the middle to make 2 portions. Peppercorn sauce unfortunately tasteless. Prawns and donner too oily and quite sickly. Prawns came out cold too. Would perhaps visit again for other dishes but honestly these 3 are not serve worthy. Suggest a complete overhaul of the current offering. We need a decent Steak in Glasgow.

Hangover burger was amazing 🤩😍 never had a hangover before myself, but if I did, it'd be the burger I'd order! Food fresh and great quality. Delivery driver even enquired if we'd been before & liked it as he said the place looked amazing. Speaks for itself, really.

It was a really good experience, the service was the best, Niamh was our waiter/hostess and she made sure we were very well looked after, enjoyed the meal and service was excellent.

2nd time visiting chickaros food was fantastic. Only issue for me as i prefer my burger thinner these burgers are really thick but tastey. We came near to closing time so was really quiet inside food and service was fantastic prices are great.

Grabbed a takeaway tonight, the kebab bao buns were very good, will defo order again. The half chicken was very tender and juicy and flaming Cheetos burger although not very flaming was worth a shout too. Staff did well to remove the rocket that wandered in without causing a scene 😂

Literally the worse food I’ve ever tried. My burger was so SOGGY and drenched in a horrible sauce. Got chicken too which was barely seasoned, and again literally just drenched in the sauce. So so disappointing, should have just got a pepes!

Good portion size and the food was delicious

went along with my wife, brother and sister as we’d heard great things about here, needless to say it didn’t disappoint it exceeded our high expectations! we had the starter platter for 4, really a great idea for all all to have a bit of everything, then had the naga chicken wings, my brother and sister said it was spicy, mine blew my head off! onto mains, we had the salmon, patmos steak, chickaros loaded steak and la loaded, as you can guess we we’re starving,. well we’re do i start, the wife whooped seing her loaded steak, was so impressed there was mac n cheese on there two, the salmon was the freshest and best cooked i’ve ever seen, my mouth was cooling down now with the pineapple bottle drink i had so i got stuck right into mine, the food was absolutely outstanding! huge credit to the chef’s, there producing some specialty food, never seen anything or tasted anything close to this, they seem to have a special blend and delivering perfection! portions are huge, my wife brought what she couldn’t eat home with her, ok i’m making this to long now, carly made some fantastic milkshakes to die for and the manager waiter was very chatty and we had a good laugh, unfortunately can’t comment on the desserts as we rolled each other out of there! all in all our experience was 100%, can’t believe how lucky we were to find this place and will definitely be regular customers! congratulations chickaro’s you’ve nailed it! your exactly what glasgow was missing, and pricing was so reasonable!

We were in Scotland for a trip and popped into Chicakro’s Glasgow. Food was great and the staff were so so friendly. They ensured our food and the service they provided was up to a high standard. Niamh was a great member of staff who helped with our queries, gave some great recommendations and ensured we were happy with the service!

Most Amazing food kebabish Bao buns were amazing so tasty 🤤 also had the hangover burger that was a challenge but was delicious 😋 everything was so tasty . We were served by Adam who was amazing at explain all the different sauces and spices . We will definitely be back 😁

El personal es muy agradable y amable, nuestro camarero, Asim era genial - hizo algunas buenas recomendaciones y tenía un buen poco de bromas sobre él también! La decoración se ve muy bien, la comida era muy buena también. Probamos una variedad de cosas, el menú es enorme y totalmente halal. Tuve envidia de la comida cuando había visto otra hamburguesa del comensal (había optado por el cheeto parmo de pollo, que también era genial!). Mi sobrina está restringida a la comida sin gluten, a menudo esto causa un gran problema en la mayoría de los restaurantes, sin embargo, ese no era el caso aquí. Nuestro camarero estaba bien informado sobre lo que era adecuado para una dieta sin gluten. Los tamaños de las porciones son muy generosos, así que tuvimos bastante que llevar a casa con nosotros 😅. Esperamos probar otros elementos en el menú la próxima vez que visite.

Staff are really nice and friendly, our waiter, Asim was great - made some good recommendations and had a good bit of banter about him too! The decor looks great, the food was really good too. We tried a variety of things, the menu is huge and fully halal. I got food envy when I’d seen another diner’s burger (I’d opted for the cheeto chicken parmo which was great too!). My niece is restricted to gluten free food, often this causes a big issue in most restaurants, however, that wasn’t the case here. Our waiter was well clued up on what was suitable for a gluten free diet. Portion sizes are very generous so we had quite a bit to take back home with us 😅. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu next time I visit.

Absolutely awful, don't know who would eat here. Made the mistake of coming with the whole family and all the food was so subpar that we couldn't eat it. Went home hungry and the staff wouldn't listen to any feedback. Disgusting food.

I ordered a chicken burger with a side of onion rings (£2.99 extra). I received exactly two small onion rings. The burger and chips were otherwise okay but honestly, there’s much better burgers out there.

I am always impressed with this restaurant. We travel from far to come here, and we always feel it’s worth it. The staff are just so so lovely, if I could give the staff more than 5 stars I could. My son (who is a foodie!) loves it here too! Kid friendly restaurant. He will look out for his favourite person here, Asim. The owners go out their way to make you feel comfortable, so thank you. The menu has a lot of variety, amazing flavours. Drinks are great too. We love the lamb chops, the chicken dinner, the wings and of course the mocktails. Great restaurant!

We went here because we seen a tik tok and it didn't disappoint. Food was soo tasty ! Portion sizes are very good we even took what we couldn't finish home . Friendly staff and very helpful. The irn bru daiquiri was delicious.

Great wee place we order from regularly. However, food seems to have taken a wee dip recently, so the review on the food reflects that. Preciously a 4 star but now only a 3. Still good but hopefully back to its best again soon.

The most amazing place ever!! Staff are so friendly and very focused on bringing you the best food with attention on your needs at every moment. We were served by Adam the floor manager who was funny and charming but also very professional. Food is out of this world a beautiful blend of world cuisine! Owner even came over to the table to check in with us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves, who is a lovely guy also👌🏼. Well done Chikaros we will be back 😃

Friendly service. Atmosphere was nice. Food and drink a bit too sweet. The mango drink didn’t taste much of mango but lots of sugar.

Went for lunch with my wife and 2 year old son. Service was fine, however the food was really bad. We had beef donner tacos, dynamite chicken and sriracha parm chicken. The beef donner is not a good combination with corn tortilla. The tortilla was not freshly made or crunchy (as it was meant to be). The dynamite chicken was swimming in sauce, which made the batter on the chicken soggy. The parm chicken was also swimming in sauce and sat on top of chips, making it awkward to cut and eat (I don't want a mouthful of chips at the same time as my chicken). No thought has gone in to the balance and how each dish eats. The chips were frozen and were not even seasoned. The kids meal was chicken and rice. Rice seemed to be from a packet and were very dry. We were told that there were vegetables in the rice. It had a couple of peas and a small bit of carrot. The chicken used seemed to be from frozen and all chicken was dry and over cooked. Style over substance as we were also given a dry ice show. Menu is too large and overpriced. They need to reduce the menu and rework the dishes with good quality ingredients and have a better balance. I wouldn't recommend this place or go back.

At first I ordered the burger and it was so bad the bun was very old and the chicken was undercooked i have tried to get my refund but no luck yet. But later on i spoke with manager and he delivered me the same flavour burger within an hour and it was fresh and tasty and i totally loved how they provide top notch customer services also i forgot to ask his name otherwise i would’ve mentioned him.

Don’t know if the other reviews are paid for but I was misled into confidence by these before coming. Started with a bizarre kebab-taco that tasted like it was from a takeaway. Thought it might be an interesting cuisine fusion, instead more a cuisine confusion. Ended with a burger, was tough and firm and basically a large sausage, possibly reheated from frozen. When none of the 3 members of our party got close to finishing the burgers, there was a very minor dismissive apology, and nothing changed on the final bill. Waiter was friendly but quite an intense vibe haha. Not wanting to cause an issue we paid regardless and left, but at least it’s a place I can cross off my to-try list in Glasgow. Wouldn’t go back if you enjoy good food, just go get some frozen meat from Asda and make it yourself. Or just go to TJI’s which it seems to be trying, poorly, to imitate.

Saw video on fb..decided to visit on way home from work, wasnt disappointed. Perfect for a relaxed atmosphere with great food... Adam is perfect host.. helpful, very knowledgeable about the menu... the service was quick, and the food was quite simply sensational , the bao buns were bursting with flavour... if you fancy a casual dinner that's a little different... you MUST try it...
