A fabulous anniversary meal at one of our favourite restaurants. Mark and Gosia looked after us very well indeed throughout our evening. Champagne, meal and drinks were superb in cosy surroundings.

Had a great time in this wee pub, very authentic. Staff couldn’t do more, Ryan & Stephanie were very friendly and had loads of chat! Pure class banter!

Excellent place to have a nice chat with friends and some good food and cocktail. Not too loud, clean and friendly place. The staff is looking after you and some live music was not that bad either. TVs at every desk small ones for fans, some big screens. A light pub feeling but without the annoying crowd;)

Authentic Indian food with authentic Indian hospitality and expert menu navigation. The slow cooked lamb is second to none, I live in Essex and would gladly travel here again for the whole experience. Do yourselves a favour and get here as soon as you can.

Great place to share a bottle of wine. Staff are friendly and welcoming with great service. Wine prices have risen considerably since our last visit but still worth it for comfy seats ,atmosphere and service.

Went on Saturday lunchtime with 5 friends. We all chose an assortment of dishes off the amazing menu, absolutely nothing disappointed. Starters and mains all cooked to perfection, lovely aromas and flavours. I had duck spring rolls followed by King prawn linguine, both mouthwatering. The truffle and parmesan fries were a great accumpliment. The staff are all very attentive and friendly and helped make our visit a pleasure. I personally will definitely be back. Thank you.

The food was delicious, the wine flowing and we felt very safe with all the COVID measures in place. The evening would have got 5 out of 5 if it hadn’t been for the one waiter that served us. All the other staff were friendly and made us feel welcome but the one waiter made us feel he was doing us a favour by serving us. Thankfully I have been here many times and I know it’s not the norm. I didn’t get his name but if I get him again I would ask for a different server and it’s my fault as I could have requested a new server but I didn’t want to embarrass my sister Other than that you cannot fault the food. I had scallops to start which were amazing and my sister had the ribs that were just delicious. Followed by steaks cooked to perfection with truffle and Parmesan chips … the best chips ever. We had no room for desert but they all looked just as delicious Definitely worth a visit

The food was good but they should really advise on their website that they are not offering their full menu at the moment. This was a birthday lunch and it was slightly disappointing that a full menu was not on offer.

Absolutely horrendous. Starter of scallops was dreadful at best. Overcooked and lacking any accompaniment to the dish. Main course was sirloin steak, thankfully they had ran out of fillet (would have been a waste of money). Asked for medium rare, and received a steak cooked well done on one side and rare on the other, totally bizarre. Chips taken 3 attempts to get right. Refused a desert, as all I wanted was to leave and not be more disappointed.

We decided you have a really special meal with our daughter, future son in law and his parents you celebrate their forthcoming marriage. We were delighted with our choice. Great food, great service Ana three manager Joanna went out of her way to make our special. All the food was beautifully presented and could not be faulted. Yes it's expensive, but we don't go out often, I'd rather go here a few times a year than go regularly for mediocrity

An impromptu Wednesday evening dinner at Restaurant Bar & Grill Glasgow which turned out to be a lovely treat! We have eaten here lots of times but particularly enjoyed this evening with such lovely staff and good service. The waitress was kind enough to give us complementary drinks to mark 1 year until our wedding! Thanks again for a lovely evening 🥰

Visited with friends to enjoy the sunday lunch menu. Food was cooked beautifully and very much enjoyed by all our party however the portion sizes were not quite what we expected considering the prices we paid. For 2 courses and 1 cocktail each (plus the service charge which we happily paid as our waitress was lovely) we were 34 pounds each! The food as I said was lovely, particularly the yorkshire puddings but I felt the veg in particular was a very small amount amongst three. The chocolate fondant was cooked to perfection and the ice cream was delicious although again the portion of ice cream was quite small.

I've been here several times it is one of my favourites. Service usually very good, occasional waiter who seemed a little jaded, but haven't seen him for a while. Steaks are always done perfectly, I would recommen. Menu is I would say a fusion of cuisines, French, British, etc. Great wine and bubbly selection. Lovely venue at Princes Square with a bright Victorian conservstory building that allows year run sunshine and over looking the pretty square itself. Haven't been since lockdown but will again soon enough.

We were treated like royalty for our anniversary meal!! It was my partners first time at a steak house and she was stunned how many regions there were. I asked our waiter for help - he was amazing!! He then told us later on that it was his first shift - you wouldn’t have thought it. Donald, you were great & I know you’ll go far in there! Thanks for helping us make our anniversary so special - we will be back very soon ☺️

Incredible place, great variety on the menu without losing food quality. The chicken skewers starter was fantastic, as was my goat's cheese salad. My partner's fillet steak was "incredible".

I was very impressed with the email updates from this company throughout the lockdown, and it was great to see them eventually open. I must add, the only company who updated me on their new modus operandi! Hence choosing them on the first Monday in August. Warmly greeted by the charming and professional manager, as always, we enjoyed an outside table with pleasant ambience. Our server, Vaida, was extremely professional, smiling ( most difficult when wearing a mask) and courteous throughout our leisurely meal. She delivered excellent standards throughout, and was there every time you needed her...first class! Food was excellent, delicious, thanks to the great chefs! Love the chilli squid! Excellent menu and wine make this a must visit , when in Glasgow city. Standards of hygiene and understanding Covid excellent! Thankyou. Returning very soon.

Amazing and friendly service.my mum and I had a lovely lunch.my mum had the chicken club which was well packed and it was good too and I had the Angus burger again lovely.if you're in the square get up there and get it tried.

Having not visited a restaurant since lockdown started in Scotland, myself and my wife chose to go to The Restaurant Bar & Grill on Saturday 1st August as bit of a treat given lockdown has lifted to the point of being able to go to restaurants again. Very happy to say it didn't disappoint! The asian mix plate starter was incredible. After months of (good!) home cooking it was just what was needed. The words "I'm a bit emotional" were uttered a few times. For mains we got the tikka seabass, the new crispy duck dish, and brocolli,chips and rice as sides. Again every single dish was brilliant. Drinks were all spot on, and the service from the staff was excellent. They really take the time to get to know you and are able to suggest cocktails etc that you might enjoy. Special thanks to all the staff for working under the current conditions, with distancing and face masks etc. It can't be easy to do full shifts in the current circumstances, but they made the full experience great. Would thoroughly recommend RBG to anyone looking for a proper quality meal in Glasgow. Will definitely be back.

Decided to go out to one of our favourite restaurants and was not disappointed. All Coronavirus precautions followed and we felt very comfortable. Our waiter was attentive and friendly.The sharing platter was delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The wine and cocktails went down a treat. Good food,lovely drinks and good company - what more can you ask for. Another lovely day at the Bar and Grill.

What a lovely experience. I have been to the restaurant many times and I am pleased to say the food and service remain excellent. The Asian platter to share is excellent and gives you a little taste of everything. My daughter had the lobster and I went for the rib eye. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was friendly and attentive without being overpowering. An awesome night out.

Fuimos aquí para la mesa del chef. Personal realmente encantador, excelente área de comedor y excelente servicio. Tuvimos que comenzar Amuse bouche, tempura de carne de res y gambas satay para Brian, brocolli tempura y un pan plano de hummus y babba ganoush, tan sabroso. Luego con vinos empanados que eran 15 por cabeza. Sopa au pison un sabroso (mi favorito) de pan de masa agria vegano y queso de oveja. Mi marido tenía carne de venado después tuve espárragos, guisantes, risotto de habas con queso de oveja, luego una ensalada de superalimento con 3 ingredientes de halloumi, salmón y pollo. Siguiente esposo tenía cordero tuve un curry vegetariano verde tailandés. Por último un posset de limón y una increíble tarta de cereza horneada. Chef salió para contarle a ua sobre los cursos en el satar y al final para ver lo que pensábamos y luego dio la vuelta a cada mesa. Gracias Chris comida increíble por 40 por cabeza. Volveremos con amigos pronto.

OMG been back again and the food was even better than the first time. I did not think it could get any better but it did and the service was very good to. I don't like service charge I dont believe staff get it, so like to tip.

Terrible food, ludicrously overpriced wine, sneaky service charge. If you've ever fancied refusing to pay all or part of a bill on a point of principle, this is the restaurant for you.

Our annual christmas visit, and it did not disappoint. Waiter was a bit strange, and not the friendliest, but the other staff were all lovely. Steak and Sea Bass both gorgeous, and the seasonal roasted vegetables were to die for. Amazing cocktails, pricy, but a lovely treat.

Good buzz about the place, service a bit slow an hour before we got our starters. Stayed for a drink after got charged for a couple of extra drinks but got it sorted no problems.

Attended for Hogmanay meal. On arrival had a few drinks at the bar. Made to feel welcome & staff very attentive & approachable. We were then taken to our table by Joanna who was lovely & dealt with all our needs. Food was lovely & would definitely recommend to friends. Big thank you to the staff for our lovely evening.

We eat at Bar Grill a few times a year. The food is great, the people who work there are usually exceptionally polite and the service is usually good, a bit slow when busy. This experience was different and we don't feel like returning. The only reason it's a poor rather than a terrible review is because the food, when it arrived, was good.The tables at the back seemed more crammed in than usual - elbows were getting bumped every time someone passed. This was minor and I wouldn't have bothered if we hadn't had to wait well over 2 hours from when we arrived until the main courses arrived. It was after 2 hours when we asked the waiter where our food was. When some more time passed, we stopped another guy. He scurried off and didn't come back. We complained this time to the original waiter. After a while several people appeared all at once with the mains. We didn't even stay for dessert. The slow arrival of the mains wasn't the only issue. Our waiter was flippant and sarcastic throughout. His attitude is the main reason for this review. At first I thought it was a misguided attempt at banter. I don't go into a restaurant looking forward to complaining or leaving the place feeling like I wish I'd gone somewhere else. I assume most other people don't either.

A 21st Birthday bash,Twenty two people to be looked after,and what a great job the staff did of that,nothing was to much bother.Food was a three course menu.and was delicious.If you need a big party catered for you won't far wrong here

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Glasgow, and always feels like a special treat to eat there. For, I think the 4th time, we decided to have our company Christmas night out here this week, and we were treated royally from start to finish as ever.There were 18 of us, and we had booked the private room, which was absolutely perfect, we were really well looked after especially by Joanna ( who really joined in with all the fun) but everyone who attended to us was excellent, friendly, funny and welcoming. The food was outstanding, we have several very fussy eaters in the group, but i have never had so many people praising the quality of the food!, as ever, also, the quality of the wines available was second to none.Thank you for a another great night!

A huge disappointment. The hard sell started with the wine: our server brought the wine list & immediately recommended a wine...at £65. Her second was only £45. We ordered one of the cheapest & she told us not to order it as it wasn’t nice & we’d not like it. When one of the party aside he’d ask the manager why sell something which was so bad, the server said it was being removed from the wine list. Wine ordered & very promptly delivered. Not so the first courses: that took another 35 mins, during which time, we were asked to buy raffle tickets - prize of £30 towards a meal was mentioned. The food was fine - nothing special. The overall bill (there were 12 of us) was high - the deposit had not been deducted & there was a £30 overcharge. There are many, many restaurants in Glasgow - I suggest you try one of them instead of this one.

Food was perfect. The duck ís very good ás were the steaks. Simon, our server, was very Attentive and looked after Us well. We will definitely be back next tíme we visit Glasgow.

Nothing wrong with the food, perfectly ok, but dear me, £12 for a glass of red wine? I asked for a glass of the house wine, was given a choice and took the Malbec. But £12 is excessive and puts me off going back to this place.

Another amazing meal with fabulous service. The Restaurant Bar and Grill never lets us down and yesterday was no exception. It is by far the best eatery in Glasgow. The menu caters for all and the quality of food is exceptional. Joanna and her team are to be congratulated for their welcoming relaxed ambiance and their attention to detail. New favourite starter - hash brown with lovely perfectly cooked smoked haddock on top, finished off with the most gorgeous poached egg.

First meal with the wife here and it certainly wont be the last. From start to finish, the whole experience was brilliant. I've had the best starter I've ever eaten, smoked haddock served on hash brown with poached egg. Stunning dish. Claire had a beef bourgiugnon which could have served two and had the most indulgent gravy. Wow. The ambience and setting was Brilliant and relaxed and we didnt feel rushed at all. Looking forward to a return visit with friends.

I just love it here, the food is delicious and the wine list amazing, although I couldnt afford their top wine but a massive list with avery affordable choice. The service is great, not too in your face but remins me of how it ahould be done, with class and style without being pompous. They also have a royalty card which adds up surprisingly quickly, I dont get out much but this is where I head if I do, looking forward to seeing their beautiful christmas lights again this year on the inside big window,

The Bar and Grill has long been a favourite and today I treated my mum to lunch. The service and the food was so lovely and the waiter made a big fuss of my mum. Thank you 😄

I visited this restaurant over 12 years ago and still remember the boeuf bourguignon. I found myself in Glasgow again today so thought I’d try this out again for dinner and I wasn’t disappointed. This still is far better than any Boeuf Bourguignon I have had and far better than any in Blancs Brasserie. Well worth the money, great service and a wonderful wine selection to go with the food. Hopefully it won’t be another 12 years before I am able to return.

Out for a birthday lunch with my daughter we started off with a very upsetting experience with Scotrail after which the birthday girl was in tears. The waiter in this restaurant immediately noticed her distress and set out to improve her day upon hearing that it was a special day. I firmly believe that this young man gives this service to all patrons but for us it turned our day around. He made my daughter feel that she was the most special person in his world that day. My thanks to you, I have never experienced service as good as this anywhere. It was an honour to have been served by you. Having said all that this is well worth a visit, good food, very pleasant surroundings, not expensive. Again hearfelt thanks for a great lunch and five star service.

Went here yesterday with my partner as we received a voucher from my sister for £50. So we thought we would have to add to the bill a bit but didn’t really keep an eye on the prices too much. Jeez I wish we had. The bill came to MUCH higher than we anticipated. I honestly do not mind extra expense for a great meal however it wasn’t worth £130. I was asked if I would like water for the table and when everyone around me had tap water, they brought bottled water so that was an extra unanticipated expense. We had bread to start with and to be honest I wish we didn’t bother as it ended up creating quite a bit of a mess due to the crispiness of the bread, crumbs everywhere. I had scallops and, although I did eat it all as I’m not too fussy and didn’t complain at the time, they were undercooked ever so slightly, but if scallops aren’t cooked perfectly, the texture is to be desired... also the chorizo was slightly burned and the broccoli could have done with an extra minute or two, and I like my veg crispy. However my partner had chicken skewers and enjoyed his. We both had sirloin steak with our mains, he had peppercorn sauce with his and I had truffle butter with mines(course sauce was extra) and I did enjoy it. We also had chips and onion rings to share. Thank god we did because if we didn’t get the sauce either it would have literally just been the steak. The steak was lovely however I just felt it wasn’t worth what we paid. We have been to many other restaurants where we paid quite a bit but we always felt it was worth it. I had two glasses of wine totalling just under £20 and my partner had a beer and then we had sorbet for dessert. They added nearly £12 service charge as well! I asked for it to be taken off as I would never give someone £12 tip for doing what they are meant to be doing, their job. Although our waiter was still nice so I did tip but gave what I felt I could give as tip. I very much doubt il be back to be honest as I said before there are many other restaurants that are more worth the money, where you get an experience, not just a meal and we don’t feel they are looking to get more money out of you at every turn. Thank god for my sisters voucher. No photos as my starter was quite messily put together & the main just looked so plain.

When it comes to steak I consider myself very picky and only the best will do. Every time I visit bar and grill it's the 225 fillet that is order and it never disappoints. In my opinion the truffle butter sauce is what separates them from the likes of other so called steak connoisseurs like "Miller and carter" not to mention the fact that the smoky chargrilled flavour is something that you would expect from everywhere when paying 》£25 for a steak bit unfortunately this is not the case.

I go very often here and can’t recommend it enough. Staff were very attentive late Saturday afternoon and Spanish waiter was very nice and chatty with us. My friend and I had a few drinks this time just to unwind, they do the best Rioja in Glasgow, unfortunately we went to the mercure hotel prior and I had to send my Rioja back tut tut but I knew where to go next, the restaurant bar and grill x wine is fab and it has a lovely atmosphere x please go you will not be disappointed and if you are then there’s something wrong with u x

Really pleased we went here. The food was excellent and there's a great range on the menu. The staff were really nice but service was a little slow at times. It took a while for the drinks to come and it was difficult to order more at some points. Although they did make me a cocktail that wasn't on the menu!

Had a fantastic late lunch at the restaurant bar and Grill. Very detailed menu with lots of options to choose from. Service was impeccable. But the main attraction was the quality of the food. Portion size and flavours were excellent. We were lucky enough to meet the head chef Bobby who assisted us with some menu choices. Look out for the Beef tartare and the creme brûlée on the desert menu it’s a true winner. Can’t wait to return.

Love in here, food is always lovely and if your lucky to get a seat out on the balcony you can watch all the hustle and bustle whilst your relaxing.

We have been here many times before, but I have to write another review of this fabulous restaurant. BR&G; do a 2 course lunch menu for £17.75, and today I had chicken skewers with raita and salad garnish (as did hubby) and for mains we had fish, chips & mushy peas and crispy duck salad. Wow. 2 large pieces of exquisite crispy duck on top of a large bed of pak choi & broccoli salad - with a sesame oil dressing to die for. Hubby advised his fish was great too - an awful lot of excellent food, a large bottle of branded sparkling water and lovely surroundings & great service. A total of £40. Some people can spend that in a cheap & tacky chain food restaurant - why, when you can dine like this?! Wonderful lunch.

In Glasgow for some retail therapy and decided to give this place a try as our usual haunt was booked out until late in evening. The staff were great, and explained that if we downloaded app we would get food discount on first meal, with further offers on future meals. In general all staff very attentive, explained the menu well and so glad we took advice on "dropping extra" side of chips as definitely not required. My only criticism was I asked for steak medium and for me personally it was more medium well, but next time I would select medium-rare to be sure it was more to my taste. Other than that, steaks seasoned well, served on largest hash brown I have ever seen and overall lovely meal. Cheese-cake and sticky toffee pudding also rounded off nice meal.
