This place simply does not disappoint. Whether it is the speedy and friendly service or the beautifully laid out food that fulfills all your cravings, you must visit this place. There are a lot of vegan restaurants that boast being great, yet they lack the key ingredient: simply great food, without anything extra. For a vegan restaurant, I look for comforting flavours that deliver and make me and my tummy happy. I have finally found a place I can openly recommend to everyone. Reasonable prices, great services, friendly atmosphere and food you can actually be happy with. I need to go back here, asap. You should too.

Forgot to write a review last year but a recent memory of the amazing time myself and my girlfriend had here compels me to write one. It was for my girlfriend's birthday and I called up to asked if I could bring them a cake before hand, which they presented beautifully. The staff throughout were so kind and our waiter was very friendly. The food (pork belly dish) to this day was the best I've ever had and was well priced too as a student. Made a truly special evening and we talk often of having to return. Highly recommend to all (plus, what a view)

Meal for 2 with starters and mains came in at less than £80. The dishes were all really tasty and in good portions. The menu is quite small so don’t expect masses of choice, just really good food. Get a seat in the back room, it’s more intimate and (importantly in winter) much warmer than up front.

Ate dinner here tonight. Delicious Bibimbap and ramen. Good portions and everything tasted great. Our server was lovely but very quiet; to the point where it was sometimes difficult to hear them. They were very efficient though, and everything arrived promptly. I Would have loved a little more mayo to dip my karaage chicken into but overall this was a great meal. Four starters and four mains with three soft drinks and one cocktail came in at around £120.

For many of this was our first visit to Nok’s and can highly recommend. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and will definitely be back.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service friendly and attentive. We missed eating before the theatre and staff were kind enough to let us eat in the last hour before closing, with a warm welcome. A lucky turn of events for us as the food was superb and it is a lovely restaurant. They even adapted the menu, adding saag to my chicken dish. I highly recommend Passage to India and will definitely return.

Went here for my mates 40th. We had a great meal, curries were brilliant, staff were really friendly. Made my mate feel special on his big day. Thank you

Came here on 3rd January 2025 and was pleased to find out, this was the first day of a new menu. Tried all the sharing plates and was very impressed! I don't know how chips could blow me away but they did. The BBQ 'Ribs' were great, a welcome spin compared to other vegan offerings. The Califlower bites were delish, some of the best I've eaten. I also LOVED my 0 alcohol vegan pina colada. I might have to pop in for more of these....talk about addictive! As a vegan it was nice to see that only one dish was not vegan/no vegan option. And vegan ranch! Where else can I get that. Staff very welcoming. The burger options did intrigue me, I'll have to come back to try ;)

Came a week ago with a friend and we were served by Hana (i’m sorry if you’re reading this, i know it’s late!!) but she was absolutely wonderful and made us feel so at home - the sweetest soul ever, will be back not just for the amazing food but for the perfect service :) x

Massive thanks specifically to the east asian server who was very accommodating with my needs. Offered to replace my cucumber for avocado for free before I asked.

Evitar. Espantoso. Alimentos fríos, carne cruda, sopas no comestibles debido a la sobresalación. Personal poco servicial cuando se contacta con respecto a la entrega de alimentos. Hay mucho mejor en Edimburgo!
