Trademarking "pho" to take advantage of a culture is disrespectful and disgusting. Change your practices.

White owners who trademarked the name "Pho" and use other vietnamese food shops that have that have a similar name. INSANE!

The place is perfect to lunch or dinner. The waiter Tyson was very warm and friendly and provided everything we asked for! Good atmosphere and service overall. We had 2 rice bowls: the 'tofu and veg', and the 'This is not chicken'. Both tasty. We also had prawn crackers which were tasty an came with sweet chilly sauce. Thank you :)

They’ll have a line but it moves quickly and it’s worth the wait! Perfect thing on a cold day!

My partner and I recently visited this place without a reservation, and despite that, they kindly accommodated us. We had the beef brisket and the crab noodle soup, both of which were absolutely top-notch. The flavors were subtle yet incredibly satisfying, and the portion sizes were generous—excellent value for money. Our server, Tyson, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely knew what he was doing, making our experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and warm, welcoming service.

Great meal, great service from Eden

One of the best Asian meals I’ve had in Edinburgh - delicious! My veggie & tofu rice bowl was packed with flavours and crisp, lovely peppers, cucumber, Chinese leaf, coriander, radish, chillies and other wonderful ingredients. I finished every last mouthful! Also a v nice Malbec. Good service and decent prices. Thank you Pho team! ❤️

First time I tasted Vietnamese food and I was amazed. Very kind staff

Arrived at midday, ordered 5 minutes later, then saw everyone around me being served and getting food and drink before me (I was solo dining). Kept getting ignored by my server and all the others. At 12:45 as I was getting ready to leave (no drink or food had arrived) a different server told me my original server hadn’t put my order through to the kitchen. How did it take them that long to deliver that news? I think the original server was too cowardly to own up to their mistake hence them routinely ignoring me. Disgraceful service which is a shame as the food is usually pretty good. I won’t be eating here again unless I find myself outside of the space time continuum

Probably the best pho I’ve had outside of Hanoi! Brisket pho was amazing, husband was in love with the garlic pho, and the crispy spring rolls with pork were perfection. Staff was incredibly nice as well. 100% recommend stopping in!

Very bad experience towards the customers as well as to the delivery riders, they should think even delivery drivers are delivering to their own costumers.

food is not good, service is very bad.I'm a tourist who comes here for research and comes here for lunch. I order a steamed rice cake with water in it and not because of the price of the ice cream service. I go there once and don't come back again. (-.-)

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a warm lady, who took us to our seats immediately. Odessa was welcoming, warm and friendly, and even helped give me an idea of how spicy the food is, to ensure I would enjoy my meal. The food came quickly, and I was blown away with the flavours and the quality of ingredients. It was also presented very well. Thank you for making my meal really enjoyable.

We waited 40 minutes between appetizers and our mains while tables that sat after us ordered and got served. The brisket in the pho was tough and tasteless, I guess if you’ve never had pho or brisket this would be passable… the steak is advertised as thinly sliced beef but it wasn’t the kind we are used to. The portions were very small and give food court vibes for restaurant prices.

Not only is the food and service great (special shout out to Lauren, who was just lovely and super helpful), but this place is also incredible for folks with dietary restrictions. Almost everything is gluten free and dairy free, and there are many low-FODMAP-friendly options.

Tasteless! We were three people all with the same bad food experience from the taste to the presentation. Nice staff. Closer to bad street food than a restaurant. Avoid eating there!!!!!!

Went in on impulse as I fancied a reminder of my time living in SE Asia. Hopes weren’t too high! But food that came out of busy kitchen was exceptionally good (chose 2 specials) and service spot on. Nice buzzy lunchtime vibe as well. Would highly recommend for fresh tasty and authentic food. Much better than I expected!!

The restaurant specializes in pho, and they make it absolutely delicious. However, the curry, fried rice, and fresh spring rolls I tried were not as impressive.

Unofficial (according to my 4 year old): the best raspberry sorbet in Edinburgh. Excellent service from Tyson and a menu with only 3 items containing gluten or dairy, it is a great choice for anyone with an allergy.

Went here for my sister's 30th birthday. Was a delicious experience. Had the chicken curry, and would get this again. A big plus for me was the "no prawn" crackers. As someone who is allergic to fish, it's nice to see options that cater to my allergy. The restaurant also caters for those with gluten allergies, so was also another big bonus for my sister. 100% would come back again!

The entire menu was gluten-free, except for the meat and fish rolls, so my celiac wife could eat completely in peace. Everything very delicious, very friendly service. Recommended for all celiacs in the world!!!!

I loved this site. The place is beautiful and with the cold weather we wanted to have a soup. We went a little without expectations because we were hungry but we were very surprised by how attentive the service was (as soon as we sat down they asked us about allergies, intolerances...) and how delicious the food was. So delicious that we went again the next day and if we had stayed more days in the city we would have gone again. 100% recommended🧡

Quite a busy place as it’s conveniently located in St James quarter. Good amount of seating. the pho is okay, lacks flavour and theres better options. However its still pretty decent. staff was also really friendly

Vido, general manager talked us through the menu, I am Coeliac and only two things on the entire menu were off lists to me....Vido is lovely and took time to explain things to us. Food was delicious, he encouraged us to try the baby squid the next time we visited the restaurant, but we added it to our starters and it did not dissapoint, all food was flavoursome and as spicy as we expected...definitely will return...Linda

This is a fantastic spot! My second visit here and the food was superb! My favourite being the chicken wings, so well seasoned. The service was incredible. My mum is hard of hearing so I asked at the front desk if we could have a corner table, as tables in the middle of the room with mixed conversations from each side make it hard for my mum to hear me. Tyson offered us a large booth as it was in the quietest area. I did say I felt bad to take a larger table but he said it was completely fine, and his wife also had hearing difficulties so he completely understood. Our waiter Rafi was also super helpful and charming. He explained to us how the coffee worked and checked on us several times throughout the meal. When I mentioned to Rafi how kind Tyson had been, he told me that Tyson was one of the best managers that he had every worked with and his people skills were unparalleled. It’s so nice to see people in the Industry that are so kind and passionate and caring, and then to see them passing this on to the next generation it’s just so wholesome. Well done guys, you are fantastic! Also best fried egg ever!!!
