Morgan and her colleagues were wonderful and the food was top notch, gorgeous flavours. The drinks were also so SO good, a definite yes!

Absolutely favourite place to order pho from whenever I feel under the weather. It’s very aromatic, full of herbs and warms you up just right.

So glad I found out about this place. It's been a real struggle to enjoy food since I found out I'm coeliac but this place makes me glad I did as I found it through a gluten free website! The food is incredible, so fresh and tasty. There is so much choice for vegans and veggies. And the spicy lychee cocktail I had was amazing! I will be back time and time again.

I like Pho. Regularly go to the Liverpool one so thought I’d come here. Why not 🙌🏻 Restaurant is upstairs in the St James Quarter, which is like a fancy shopping centre. A bit like the Mailbox in Birmingham wanted to be, if you’ve been there and if it were successful, rather than slowly failing. Anyhow; so it’s opposite Gordon Ramsey Street Burger, with its limited menu. The restaurant has a queue line outside - that worries me. I wouldn’t queue for Pho, but plenty of people do apparently. Anyhow, seated instantly and service was excellent. A beer Han Noi was the beer. As it was and as it should be. Crisp. The pork spring rolls were my starter - excellent and crisp, with peanut dip - followed by the beef brisket spicy curry. Wow; such flavour. I had the pandan waffle for pudding as well. With coconut ice cream. Yum. I love coconut ice cream. It’s not on the menu, but order it anyway 👀 Overall an excellent meal. The restaurant itself is compact, but decent. Well done. As I left there were people queuing outside. Kudos to them - I wouldn’t queue but if they want to, then the food is excellent. You can ask for a knife and fork. Don’t fear judgement. 🙌🏻

The taste is delicious, but the Pho is very small and you get very few ingredients. In addition, a high “optional” service charge of 12.5% ​​is charged. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio doesn't match.

Lovely restaurant with great food and service

For food wise we ordered hot and spicy brisket and the classic beef combo pho both of them were 10/10.We really enjoyed the beans sprouts,mint leaves and finely green chilli it came with.For drinks we ordered the hot Vietnamese coffee and green tea lemonade.The coffee came with condensed milk and it was really good.However the green tea lemonde was so disappointing.It tastes like generic lemonde with no hints of green tea at all.Because of this we had to ask the staff if they got our order right and it was indeed green tea lemonade.So that for me was a let down but other than, everything else was a 10/10.I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit Edinburgh!:)

Such a brilliant place with brilliant food and wonderful service. Their menu is so accommodating for people with intolerances. I cannot eat gluten or dairy and i could have almost every item on the menu. The food is unbelievable and so well placed. Definitely recommend to anyone who may be visiting the area.

It’s the first time I’ve heard that the restaurant won’t accept cash. If so please let me know before I sit down. Or I can let everyone else know by this review. Be careful about the bill, I ordered two drinks, a spring roll, two rice noodles, which turned out to be 46, I think they included some extra charge.

Recommend, amazing food and service

Shame they systematically charge service now even for take out. Time this company takes upon themselves to pay their team decent wages instead of charging customers again for this.

Worst restaurant within Edinburgh. Worst attitude. Worst service. I came in with a child, all she ordered was a children’s portion of pho. I also ordered a summer roll that did come earlier. Then I waited more than 45 minutes, all the tables in the place were served ( who happen to be either Asian or white, I’m the only person of color) , even a table that came in 30 minutes after we did had their order who happened to be PHO! , I talked to them many times, her food only showed up when we put on our jackets and were on the door to leave. I told them that we waited for this for a long time, his answer was: soo. Do you want it or not? I have never seen this level of rudeness in Edinburgh.

A lovely dinner in a lovely restaurant with fabulous services. I am always coming back here and will never get tired of the perfectly cooked food. Fresh ingredients that have been cooked to perfection! I have been served by Tyson numerous times and they are always very polite and welcoming. Staff are happy to answer all questions and make sure they can suit dietary requirements.

After ordering, we waited for at least 20 minutes and the food was not served. The people who arrived later than us were served five minutes after ordering. We were not served immediately until we were prompted. One of the rice noodles was still warm. It doesn't look like it just came out of the pan. It feels like it has been sitting for a while after being cooked. It didn't taste good at all, salty and expensive.

First time me and my partner visited as we were stopping by, the food was super nice and light and Rafi who served us was very lovely and helpful. Atmosphere was great and staff seem super helpful and welcoming

This is a vietnamese street food restaurant but food and service is mainly ok. You cannot choose the table and you have to ask for everything (fork, glass). We are not returning.

The food is cooked fresh - you can tell! Spicy chicken curry was the best I've ever tasted. We also loved the tofu pancake, but actually all the dishes tasted divine. Recommend a fresh mint tea at the end to wash it all down! Tyson was an attentive server ☺️

First time being here for a weekend trip and I’m sorry but the Pho is one of the worst I’ve had. I ordered Pho Tai Lan and the broth was watery, plain and the chef may have forgotten to add seasoning. And what’s with the (Japanese ramen) wooden spoon? We also ordered some other dishes, they are mediocre but better than the Pho. The service and atmosphere however were really lovely so I hope this is just an accident on a Sunday afternoon.

I visit here with my girlfriend recently. I suggest everyone that please do not drink vietnamese coffee here. The amount of the coffee compared to price is sooo less. Also, I ordered pho but pho was undercooked. The greens for the pho was so less. Last but not least, the attitute of staff was not nice at all. They behave like they giving the food for free. Excuse me but It is not your charity activity. It is a restaurant and you need to behave your customers well. If you are a Pho lover like me, never prefer this place

As a Vietnamese neighbor, I can say this is the worst Vietnamese beef noodles I have ever eaten. The price is similar to other products, but the quality is quite different. First of all, the noodles were undercooked. It took me 20 minutes to wait for a bowl of noodles that looked undercooked at first sight. I couldn’t understand it. Either the boss considers changing the pink clock, or asking the employees to cook for a longer time. The temperature of this powder soup is not enough, and it doesn't have that mellow and warm feeling when you drink it. Secondly, there is a little bit of chili🌶️, but there are no bean sprouts and no condiments such as coriander and green onions. Chopsticks are very cheap and not environmentally friendly disposable chopsticks. They are very light and inconvenient for picking up food. I can't understand why a restaurant that mainly serves dine-in food uses these chopsticks. In the end, the attitude of the male waiters was pretty good. One female waitress was so disgusted when she found out that I didn't want to pay the service fee. The instant noodle versions I make are more delicious than this and have more condiments. The recipe is as follows: a pack of chicken-flavored instant noodles (available in various Tesco and Sainsbury's), some meat you want to eat, such as cooked beef and chicken, the ones you make yourself are more fragrant, a lime, some dried chili peppers, Cut the mint, bean sprouts, coriander, and chives and place them on the plate. After the powder is cooked, you can squeeze the lime. While the soup is still hot, add mint and other condiments into the soup and stir evenly. Dear customers above, you will come back to thank me.
