Food is excellent, hot and delicious. I especially like the saag dishes and the way they cook the fragrant rice. Highly recommended

Staff were friendly and the place was very quiet. We were the only table here and one other couple joined. But food was very nice, we both enjoyed.

Nice cuisine for traditional Indian food, good for family and social gatherings, they allow you to bring your own bottle well last time I was there and also do takeaway/ delivery's, one of the best Indian cuisines and longest established within goldenacre.

Very bland food. Naan breads were like cardboard.

Very Disappointing - Food was cold and delivered in a Plastic Carrier Bag not a "Just Eat Warm Bag".. When I asked the delivery man why it was so late he shrugged his shoulders and made no comment. This is extremely poor service and not what we expect when ordering through "Just Eat".

The food from In Touch is just so good

A LONG TIME SINCE WE LAST ORDERED FROM "IN TOUCH" BUT IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE OUR NEXT ORDER - OUR MEAL WAS SUPERB - BEST CURRY I'VE HAD IN YEARS - THANK YOU "IN TOUCH".

Worst Indian meal we have had in a long time. Food was stone cold, sauces were awful, almost like they were watered down. Nans were tasteless, Really disappointing as we have sat in before and the food was good. Never again I'm afraid. Give it a miss as there is much better out there than this offering.

I had a nice meal at In Touch last night, celebrating a friend's 60th birthday. I tried mushroom rice, chicken Tikka Massalam, and Keema Naan bread. My friends had various other dishes and there were no complaints. The staff were really nice, I'll be honest and say that I was a bit concerned when I arrived as it was empty, but it was midweek at 6:45 and within 15-20 minutes it started to fill up. Overall, the food was super tasty, the service was good and I'm sure we will go back at some point to try some more.  Thanks.

The food was on time but more than an hour is a ling time to wait

Normally very good but lamb was tough and chewy and bread soggy and cold. I will still order from here as usually I'd give 5 stars. Just disappointed today

Nice flavour, delivered in time.

Excellent lamb as always - only issue is portion size. Lots and lots of sauce with small meat offering. Too small to share, but delicious.

Always good food, delivered promptly

It won’t let me leave the time, but it was that late. All the food was cold, and the delivery man was not very pleasant. Not helpful at all.

I would rather that instead of being early with the delivery they used the time to make better food. Overcooked chicken, undercooked lentils. All very salty.

Ordered a delivery , have had a few in the last few months has definitely gone down hill , todays was inedible wont be ordering again , delivery driver as per takes the money and never offers you change just walks away RUDE

Prawns were solid and lucky I got 5! Starters: onion, chutney, sauce were minimum considering the price! Over priced for what you got.

Food great as usual. But we had ordered it to arrive after we returned home from the airport, and arrived 15 mins before the scheduled delivery time to find the driver already blocking our drive. If someone has specified a delivery time, then earlier is *not* better.

Had takeaway, service was nice but the food definitely was not my favorite. It wasn’t that spiced, and one of the dishes was very oily. They were bland but again not terrible or anything.

Ordered tonight, one of the best curry’s I’ve had which considering I originate from Bradford is a good complement. Bit pricey, the price of chapttis is too high, but it was a nice treat. Had chefs special Murghi keema massalam, and chicken pakora, very nice! Would highly recommend! 5*

Cold food was nice at all korma was very bland also

Very nice restaurant, dinner tasted very good 4 stars. Unfortunately, it was very very cold in the restaurant 1 star. They had just a little electric heater that was way too little to get a little bit of temperature inside.

Warm welcome, friendly service, very varied menu, delicious food. A bit off the beaten track, but don't let that stop you making a visit. You will find parking 1 or 2 minutes away, make sure you pop into an off-licence if you want alcohol (no corkage fee, by the way), and get stuck in. We arrived early, but it's clearly popular because it soon filled up and created a great atmosphere.

Only customers on a cold Monday night. Apparently the place to eat on a weekend. Very obliging staff and tasty food, Bangladeshi cuisine always makes me happy. If it looks really quiet, don't be discouraged.

I have been going here for years, every time I come to Edinburgh it is a treat. Tonight, 26/6/22, the food we got for takeaway was awful. No Indian I know would have accepted it, little flavour or relation to the classic Indian dishes we ordered. Really disappointed.

I've just tried this place and ordered a dry Tandoori prawn dish as a main course. When I got it the box was more than half full of onions and there were 4 king prawns in it. Really disappointed.

Loved my over all experience with In Touch. Fantastic customer experience and could tell they were genuinely lovely, hard working people. Even got a free drink on the house and the food was authentic and delicious. Will definitely be back!

In Touch is our local Indian takeaway, and we are very lucky to have it so near! The staff are always friendly and helpful when we sit in, and the delivery is always fast and efficient. The food is always delicious and the portions are generous. We always bring our out-of-town guests there, and no one is ever disappointed. 5 stars from all of us!

This was my 3rd recent meal at InTouch, having previously only enjoyed takeaways. The food is extremely authentic, enjoyable and served at a good temperature on warmed plates. Service is very good, prices reasonable and the bonus of BYOB with no corcage. I'll be going back.

Food arrived late and cold, food reasonable once everything had been reheated but not what I expected when spending £45 on a takeaway. Get more delivery drivers on and maybe the food will arrive hot.

Recently ordered 2x chicken corma’s and disappointed too say that it has been my worst Indian I’ve ever had and worst thing about it that it didn’t even taste like chicken corma it was that bad would definitely be asking for a refund

Ordered again last night and again didn’t disappoint, In touch is probably the best Indian we have had, yes they take a while delivering but, it’s worth the wait 🤪

The only thing I would add was the food needed heated up a bit but other than that brilliant as always. Just Chuck your oven in with a couple of plates and your sorted just in case!

I think In Touch does most of its trade by delivery. I'm not surprised it's popular; the food is good, the selection broad and quantity fair. It's served pretty quickly too. The in restaurant experience is only slightly different. It's generally not hard to get a table and you might be eating on your own. You can, but don't have to, bring your own bottle. What I like the most are the suggested side dishes to go with the main courses. They're good value and good matches. What I dislike the second most is the lack of dessert and limited starter. Like a menu geared up for delivery, there additional options aren't bothered about. Not even ice cream, although you can get a coffee. What I dislike the most is the lack of speed that the bill is delivered at. If there's no dessert, I've clearly finished, please stop lurking at the cash till and bring me the bill. Thankfully, it's clean, feels COVID safe and the toilets aren't a total disaster. I've been to In Touch several times, and will go back. There's not much in the way of local competitors and it's open late. I can see myself going on after an evening in town.

I had a delicious chicken tikka masala with pilau rice takeaway from this fab restaurant. Delivery man very friendly. Recommended.

Have been to In Touch for a sit in meal. Thought the takeaway would be as good. It was not, ordered a chicken Vindaloo it was not spicy, there was 4 large pieces of potatoes and the meal was cold. Also ordered vegetable Korma, it was cold, tasted of water (believe it was because the frozen vegetables) and the dish was not fresh.

Chicken was tuff snd tasted like it had been lying there a long time. Definitely not fresh. The sauce was far to thick I like to dip my bread in the sauce normally. Very disappointed as I’ve used in touch many times in the past. Food was cold and Nan bread brick hard. Also about chocked on a hard bit of tiny chicken bone. Regret my choice of delivery

Lemon rice was ordered - no lemon taste at all Middle ground but lacking

The food was so late and when I phoned to ask how long it would be the member of staff was really unhelpful.

Best local Curry House. Tasty food and friendly staff.
