Another fantastic meal. Everything fresh, tasty and cooked perfectly.

Ordered Chicken Kathmandu very bland the reason I love Indian food is you can taste all the different spices sorry not with this one.Stated garnished with coriander no it wasn't. Won't be returning

Placed a relatively large order (four mains, starters & sides) for collection. Food quality was excellent. Somewhat difficult to find a good quality Indian takeaway, however, Abdul’s certainly didn’t disappoint. Ordered for quite a few different local Indian’s, and this is definitely up there. Ordered directly through their site as prices are cheaper than via JustEat etc. Highly recommended

Excellent as always, the food from Abdul's is always tasty, delivered on time and hot. We have been ordering from here for a long time and tonight's 3 meals were fantastic.

Might be the worst Indian I've had. The Tikka Massla was ok. I've eaten some of it. The most expensive part the mixed kebab meat was overcooked, lacked flavour and dry. Although there were 4 different items in there, I tried one of each, and they all tasted the same. Pitta bread was soggy. Totally disappointed. I'm new to Just Eats but this was an expensive amount of food to go in the bin. Would not rate at all. 2 stars for the Masala and the Poppadom, which would be impossible to mess up.

This was a fantastic Indian and I will be ordering from here again.

Unfortunately and unusually the order arrived almost cold. The biryani sauce was watery and its vegetables consisted mostly of large chunks of cabbage. I have ordered here many times before without issue but this was unacceptable.

Outstanding!! Both my wife and I loved our curries and the lamb kebab starter was a taste sensation with the dipping sauce!! Will 1000% be ordering from here again!!

The meat was rubbery and undercooked, the remaining ingredients were difficult to find. The bear managed to catch two pieces of onion and one piece of chili. The taste of the sauce is pure masala and water, I didn't detect an ounce of coconut milk. The rice was ok but not salty.

Fresh and delicious every time. We order regularly from Abdul’s and the food is always great. Crisp poppadom’s and soft naan. Chicken Tikka Masala is a favourite. We tried the Ginger Murgh this time and loved it too.

Ordered the Chicken Balti. Big pieces of chargrilled chicken in a delicious sauce. Really nice curry and sides of pilau rice, chips and garlic naan. Will definitely be ordering again from here when we visit Edinburgh again!

Thank you for a delicious chicken biryani and nann, it was a very generous portion and would easily serve 2 hungry adults! The Vege curry sauce that went with it could be a dish with rice on its own, it was also very tasty.

It's getting so difficult to find a good curry in Edinburgh and this was pretty much one of the worst we've had recently. Chef's special starter of mixed kebabs were very salty and the meat was dry like it hadn't been the first time it had been cooked and then reheated. The mains were utterly tasteless with no hint of spices and definitely no spicy heat or salt by the taste of it. The naan bread was tough and chewy and the parts that weren't chewy were hard as bricks. I'll be giving this carry out a miss in future.

The second worst curry I've ever had! Starter was tasteless and mainly soggy batter. Main was bland and tasted faintly of parsnip in a watery sauce, not what I expect from passanda. The paratha was almost biscuit texture, although the naan was ok. The only reason it was second worst, not worst was there was a reasonable quantity of meat in it.

One of the worst place ever to have an Indian. Ordered chicken tikka biryani… very dry chicken and the biryani was sweet for some reason I asked for spicy plus seek kebab dry as well. Won’t be back ever again!

The curry was hot but did not taste like an authentic madras, had better microwave supermarket versions.

First time trying Abdul’s . Will be a returning customer. Enjoyed very part of the meal . The chicken tikka was the best we’ve ever had . Amazing food and lovely delivery person . Thank you

I ordered Retford special chicken on the 12th of March Abdul’s Indian takeaway Morningside, Edinburgh Meal came on time very hot. Unfortunately when I was halfway through my meal I noticed something in it, looked like a bit of a plastic bag well I hope that’s all it was disgusting and very unhygienic informed restaurant they offered me a replacement meal, I said no, they came and took everything away. All the evidence not heard from them since absolutely disgusting will never order from them again I ordered through just eat.

The food was delicious whoch is always a nice surprise when trying somewhere new.

Although part of my order was missing a quick phone call and they had someone back out swiftly with the missing part of my order with a couple of free poppadoms thrown in so great customer service saved the day. More importantly the curry was delicous, full of flavour and best i've had in ages. Will order again.

Curries and naans were delicious. Rice portions were a bit smaller than I expected. Especially enjoyed the vegetable paratha. Unfortunately one of the containers of curry had collapsed slightly in the bag. This meant we made a bit of a mess trying to extract everything from the bag. Overall, very tasty and enjoyable though :)

Pakora and chapati were a little overdone this time but I understand Saturday is a busy time for you. Won’t put me off ordering again.

I have tried a few different Indian takeways in the area over the years but Abduls always hits the spot for me!

Worst Indian I have ever had , got a prawn Biriani and a chicken dansak , no flavour at all , will not be using again ! £35 in the bin! Meh

Just moved back to area and was told about Abduls from a friend. Ordered lamb dhansak which was superb - lean tender meat with no “chewy” bits - accompanied by a large naan bread. Very reasonable prices compared to other places. Definitely my new local Indian takeaway.

Id ordered chicken tikka north Indian garlic chili chicken abd got regular chicken. The poppadums were a joke smashed to bits and obviously to cover the fact only 1 got delivered. The food was good though and the delivery driver was great but im disappointed they gave me cheap chicken and smashed to bits poppadum

I’ve been a customer of Abdul’s for about 15 years but in the last 5/6 weeks the food has declined. A lot of the chicken seems like it cheap bought . Sometimes rubbery and not nice to taste .

after read all good reviews, I decided to order some but it was very disappointed firstly it takes an hour and half to receive the food and the taste wasn't great at all. the food wasn't freshly made and chicken tikka was absolutely disgusting, very sweet and no authentic flavour whatsoever. curry ready made food from the tin are far better.

Excellent lamb curry and tandoori chicken. Abduls is back on form again after temporarily losing it.

Lamb biryani was pretty nice but not overly flavorful. I appreciate the mild spice option! Aloo Chana Chaat was really good. Garlic naan is good too. They've always got my order right and it's usually delivered a bit earlier than JustEat's estimation.

Food quality is unbelievable. We always try something new every time we order from Abdul’s and have this discovered some new favourites - the Pathia is particularly good. Abdul’s is affordable and top-quality. So happy to have such a great takeaway near by.
