I dined at this restaurant in November last year. The experience was quite good and I took a photo, so I always remember the taste. I didn’t have time to write a review until today. At that time, I ordered Tom Yum Shrimp Soup and Hainanese Chicken Rice. Both dishes tasted quite good and left a deep impression. The Tom Yum soup base is moderately hot and sour, with a strong Thai flavor. The shrimp meat is fresh and chewy. When paired with the rice noodles, it has a smooth texture. The overall taste is quite harmonious. The chicken in Hainan Chicken Rice is tender and juicy, the rice absorbs the aroma of chicken oil, and paired with the special sauce, it is full of flavor. In addition, the restaurant environment is simple and clean. Although the space is not large, the overall dining experience is still comfortable. I had a pretty good impression of this restaurant at the time. However, when I visited again last month, the overall standard seemed to have dropped, and I'm not sure whether it was due to a change of chef or other factors that affected the quality. First of all, the taste of tom yum soup became a bit unbalanced, with a stronger sourness and a slightly lack of spiciness, which made people feel that it was missing a bit of layering. The texture of the fresh shrimp is also a little soft, not as fresh and chewy as last time. As for the Hainanese chicken rice, the changes are more obvious. The portion of the chicken has become smaller, the meat has become slightly dry, and it lacks the tender texture before. The rice quality is also worse. Even the seasoning is a bit strange. The sauce has a lighter taste and lacks some of the proper flavor, which is a bit disappointing. This second visit did make me a little hesitant about whether I would come again in the future. Although the environment is still clean, the change in taste inevitably makes people wonder whether there is a problem with the restaurant's quality control. If it is just an occasional mistake, maybe you can try again next time, but if the quality is unstable, it may be difficult to patronize it again. I hope the store can pay attention to the feedback from customers and maintain the quality at a stable level so that customers can continue to enjoy the food instead of being disappointed every time.

I’ve reviewed Penge masala before when I didn’t have a great experience but I needed to do another review of my meal last night. Yes the delivery time is quite long but I order a bit earlier to factor this in. Food arrived piping hot, even the samosas which had a lovely spicy kick to them. The vindaloo was the spiciest one I’d had in a long time. I can handle my spice but my nose was running with every bite. The lamb so tender you wouldn’t have needed to chew it. Only downside was the potato wasn’t fully cooked but I was fine with that. The cheese naan! What can I say. Usually you need a magnifying glass to find any cheese on it but this one was absolutely loaded as it should be. The edges were black and crispy. Most people would say it was burnt but I love them like that. Who ever cooked my meal knew exactly what they were doing and it was amazing. The best takeaway I’ve had from there in a long time. 10/10.

I have been eating in this restaurant frequently during my undergraduate years and I have eaten all types of phos and rice plates. However since this year the quality of food decreased drastically. The quantity of pho decreased and more salty and the crispy pork belly becomes more and more salty. More importantly the student discount have been canceled after 5 pm during the week days without any notice. As a student who have been visiting this restaurant for two years, I am very sad I am not going to eat in this restaurant.

I was really looking forward to going to The fat Crab, as it was my birthday and I had had the delicious food previously. On arrival, we were not greeted. Although the restaurant was pretty empty, we were told that we had to sit squashed in between two other couples. Half of the people seated were still waiting for food and drinks. We waited for 15 minutes with no customer service whilst all four members of staff were behind the counter, chatting and laughing. We were so appalled that we walked out. I would not recommend going to the Harrow branch. It was such a shame because the food is really tasty.

I ordered a carvery from here for delivery, I did NOT receive the meats I had chosen, the food came cold and had very little of everything Asif I just had what was left to which I payed £17 pound all together with delivery. I also emailed the manager to which I still have had no reply from them not even a apology for the experience I’ve had with them the food was freezing cold I would of liked a refund for the food I didn’t even eat! NOT worth wasting your money AT ALL!!!

Cash or bank transfer only. The curry laksa itself is a bowl of a lot of ingredients that I don’t think they go well together. On its own, each element tasted alright, but when being put together in a bowl with a curry base, they didn’t make a whole dish to me. I didn’t enjoy this much. The salt and pepper chicken wings were okay.

Food is usually good but service is utterly incompetent and the worst I’ve ever had. We’ve been to the restaurant and ordered takeaway from Delhi 41. Sitting in is fine. Don’t bother ordering takeaway. Food has been very good whenever we have been there but I have never had WORSE customer service. Staff were rude when we asked for table to dine in but otherwise okay. But we ordered delivery only to wait TWO HOURS with no sign of food. When we rang to enquire, we were met with rudeness and lack of answers about when it would be ready. They then hung up on us. Fair enough it was New Year’s Eve, you expect delay but not rudeness and incompetence (when the food came we were missing multiple items). We gave them benefit of the doubt and ordered again, this time a random Sunday in April. Online order was accepted and money taken only for us to receive a phone call saying they couldn’t deliver to our address- it was ‘too far’ despite being in their delivery range. So we offer to pick up. They hesitate and offer to call back with a pick up time, only to call back and tell us ‘we’re a bit busy so we can’t give you a time to come pick it up’ with very little reassurance they would process a refund let alone when we would receive it. My advice is go elsewhere. Food at Shipon is as good if not better and the customer service is immaculate. We will never use Delhi 41 again and will make a point of encouraging others not to either.
