Family outing. Food awful. Service was surprisingly good. A selection of non veg and veg starters were so poor we only order one dish for mains and that was just about okay. Not great but okay. Overall won't be coming back.

2nd try today and wasn't really pleased as the meal didn't taste as perfect on my 1st try and due to that, I couldn't finish my meal.

Although all was good. I believe i was given lamb samossas not vegetable samossas. I do not eat red meat at all for religious reason. So whilst i enjoyed the rest of the food, only with bite into the samossas i had to throw them away.

First time eating here & it was very nice and enjoyable. The food was tasty - I loved my veg biryani! Very flavourful the veg had a perfect crunch, thank you. My husband’s chicken pathia was tasty but not as hot as he’d like but that’s a personal preference. Our friends had chicken vindaloo and chicken korma and both said theirs tasted “weird”, the korma was too sweet and the vindaloo was an “odd colour.” It wasn’t anything the kitchen could rectify so they didn’t mention it but they didn’t finish it. HOWEVER they all LOVED the naan breads! I’d eat here again, the three meat eaters said they may do and if they did they’d order different dishes. This is a very informal dining experience, expect a cafe-canteen-kebab house feel when you walk in, which isn’t a criticism. There was a steady stream of takeaway orders being collected and delivered, about half of the tables were full. Prices were decent and portions good for the price. It’s towards the lower end of the high street and you may have missed it in the past but I’d suggest going for the vegan food alone - if you’re a meat eater maybe you’ll experience the meat differently to my dining companions. Staff are lovely and very friendly.

This is our go to place for take away and eat in. The food is cooked fresh and always so tasty. Thanks to Ali who always makes our visits amazing.

The two curries that were served up were both supposedly different but tasted exactly the same. Identically awful. As if the lamb and chicken had just been dropped into the same bowl of dreadful sauce. Bland and unappealing to the eye, the taste buds remained unexercised. Unlike my bowels the following morning which were working overtime in trying to expel the horrid mass that had made its acquaintance. Upon approaching the counter to pay, we were greeted by at least 5 pre-cooked chickens which sat, miserably in the well of a rotisserie like after thoughts. I would suggest the food management here would be better coordinated if the chickens were in charge of matters, which is not such a leap given their prominence at the front of house. I would recommend this place to people with low self esteem and high stocks of double quilted toilet roll

Tandoori Chops Masala with fresh Naans and super tasty Kheer all are highly recomended.

The ETA time kept changing and eventually the food was 50 minutes late. I was also unable to track the driver or contact him.

One of my worst experiences. I have waited for 90 minutes to be served. The lady serving us was very very rude and layer. After waiting for 45 minutes and asked about the food, she dared to say that we ordered only 15-20 minutes ago. She even took a wrong order. Finally when the food came, it was not even good. Extremely spicy despite we asked for medium( it is not my first time in taste of Lahore, I know what medium like) NEVER go there.

We visited Taste of Lahore yesterday and had a fantastic experience. We were served by Bilal, who ensured everything was perfect throughout our meal. The food was exceptional, especially the kebabs, which were absolutely delicious. Additionally, the convenience of free parking at the back made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Can happen unfortunately Taste of Lahore, sent double pair of veg somasoas, when I ordered 1 pair of veg & another 1 pair of lamb, supposed was their crazy hectic time, but apart from that the food was prepared perfectly and arrive literally like it’s out of the oven, tasted delicious highly recommended

Ordered this on the app at 5.35pm, turned up to collect at 5.50pm as directed by the app. Order clearly hadn’t been made when I arrived, wasn’t ready until 6.15pm. Had to stand around watching every one else come in and pick up their order, no apology or anything when it was finally ready. Very poor customer service

Food is 10/10 honestly best mixed I've ever had and I've been alot of mixed grill places and the chicken saag was so tasty and staff are all so friendly and helpful really recommend this place great seating aswell but honestly the food is amazing if you haven't tried it you need to try it 💯✔️ 10/10

Food was amazing but had to collect as delivery driver was over an hour away. And then they had the audacity to knock on my door and ask me to confirm they delivered the order.

Visited in March 2025: First time visit to ToL. We’ve always walked past but never been up and until recently. We dined in, the restaurant is deceivingly bigger than it looks, with more bench seating at the back. The restaurant space was relatively clean and initial welcome was friendly. They had a good menu choice for a Iftar Buffet, for a Ramadhan special, so worth trying if you are new. We decided to go for classics - Chicken Tikka with Chips and Mixed Kebab with Naan. Although the dishes were fresh and appealing on the eye. It didn’t have that taste that I was hoping for. For us, it was a little bland, which was a shame. They had a substantial menu with typical Lahori style cuisine. The toilets and basin at the back were not the cleanest - so that’s something to note. I wouldn’t be back in a hurry but definitely worth a try.

A fish roll needs to have fish!!!

We usually order from them but today we didn’t really enjoy the food, the veg biryani was not as tasty as it usually is, the chicken was a bit bland from what I would have expected from them the mogo was not nice, to be honest. A bit dissatisfied overall unfortunately, as we usually order from them and go there to eat often.

Food wasn’t up to the usual standard. I thought ordering on a Tuesday during the week would mean the food would be cooked properly. The masala fish was overcooked and dry and I had asked for no salad but it was on a box of salad. The chips tasted of stale oil. The mixed grill was good though but not up the usual standards from previous orders

The Management at Lahore are very good, however on this occasion the Just-Eat delivery driver did not deliver our order because he couldn't find our address (although we place orders everyday and nobody has this problem)!

Not sure what's happening but, this timeI did not get ghir and yet again the chicken dish was spicy. how many times to I let go? I spoke to a chap called Ali who assured me the dish will be cooked mildly and yet again was very hot.

Food quality has gone down massively. Used to be a regular customer but will never be ordering again. Stale cold hard chips and old salad in tikka roll. Used to give decent amount of sauces which they no longer provide. For the price the quality is rubbish! Will no longer order from here again!

We were advised by the waiter that this wasn't possible as "the water isn't good ".Not sure how they manage to wash and prepare food if that is the case !We ordered food without drinks,more than 30 mins passed and tables who ordered after us started getting served their food. We left as ours still hadn't turned up. I only gave one star, as I couldn't leave a zero star rating for today's visit ,which is a shame because the food is normally really good. We will not be comming back.

Ordered the food. One food was very average second the order came incomple. I've ordered 3 times and all times They've missed something. This time they missed the drink. I hated the naan. It was chewy and cold I've put a review so that I can get a response from them.

Food was ready and was being kept on the display for 20 mins just because they were waiting for just “ One “ naan to be cooked. It took them 20 mins to prepare one naan to complete the order and the rest of the food was COLD except for that ONE naan. Terrible first time experience! Will think twice before Ordering again.

The place to be for superb North Indian food. Friendly service, lots of selections, and great prices. There is plenty of seating. Can get very busy and may have to wait for seats. Takeaway is available.

I wouldn’t give any stars for the quality, the steak burger in children’s meal was hard, the bun was not cooked thoroughly, it was too possibly frozen and there was no drink with the meal. I will not be ordering again.

Me and my family had bad stomach pains after eating, used to be regular, won't be coming back again.

This place was an authentic experience. I felt like I was in Pakistan with there selection of non vegetarian (all meats) vegetarian drinks (the mango lassi jug was my favourite) curries and more delicious meals packed inside of 1 single restaurant. Also shout out to Babar (not the cricketer) he was very kind and gave us our dessert free of charge. Overall very good restaurant ( the interior was good as well).

The taste of lahore is a good restaurant. We travel alot in search of this restaurant.The Kebabs and Kabli Pulao were really nice. The main thing i want to say staff was very friendly and helpful. The girl name faiza she is very kind and caring. Recommend 10/10.

They said that curry with rice is their wings and chips absolutely horrible.service took 45 minutes to come.would not recommend to come here.

What an absolute laugh. I went there today to try the food. Ordered chicken Rogan and rice. £18.50 🤣🤣🤣🤣. No I didn’t buy it. The food may have been amazing. The place is basic. Doesn’t mean the food won’t be good but seriously?! I have never paid that for a seriously decent meal in London.

Normally the food is brilliant but tonight the lamp chips were dry and all bones. The chicken wings were also over grilled and dead. Totally disappointing. Nihari and lamp curry were great though as usual. The chefs need to be consistent otherwise it’s like taking a chance with dinner.

This is my absolute go to. The food is always cooked fresh and delivered hot to the table. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. We have tried several dishes that have not disappointed. I would highly recommend.
