Plastic in the food and when I showed it too the staff they didn’t say anything no apologies or any sights of regret or worries would not recommend eating here

Paneer tikka used to be the best ever.... recently it tastes like they are using carrot soup as the base sauce! Disgusting,ruined the dish

Fantastic food, had the mix grill and everything tasted superb. Looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes. Staff were very friendly! Only comment is the toilets could be a little cleaner.

Watford Branch. Absolutely superb food cooked well and to personal preferences. Wonderfully delicious and cooked in a reasonable amount of time. Service was excellent though this place gets EXTREMELY busy. Great seating and surrounding. Highly recommend. Note .. Having eaten at both the Harrow and Watford branches - I can confirm that the Watford Branch is definitely far better in terms of food.

Food is way too spicy. I had to put sugar and goat cheese in order to get a taste of it. Couldn't finish and had to to throw it away.

Mainly order takeaway from here. The chicken tikka roll is just delicious. I have also had the lamb kebabs, chilli garlic Mogo. All brilliant. One of my go to's for a nice takeaway which seldom disappoints.

Took karahi keema with butter naan and it tastes like turmeric. Excpet this, everything was tasty. Recommended!

Ordered Kheer, which I really liked, and yet they have put the price up and their portions for the price is very very small and criminal. You get a moderate sized container with hardly any Kheer inside. This is typical Junglie behaviour and extremely crafty. I will not be ordering again. The staff need to stop being crafty and sort themselves out! Its bad enough they food poisoned a group of people a while back but this just takes the biscuit! Absolute piss take! When u put food into a container you fill it up properly otherwise get smaller containers!

Good fresh, tasty and hot food , tandoori wings are a must try. Very reasonable. Try Kheer if you love sweets.

Half chicken is the way to go, I'm sure there are plenty of other lovely meals but this is the way to go 👌

Without a doubt the best Indian we have ever had ! So much so have become regulars and think nothing of travelling a hour each way just to get to taste the delights that this restaurant offers. Heart warming and wholesome food, piping hot and never fails to deliver. I love La Hores special with chicken and Zeera rice and mango Lassi. 100% brilliant !

This place was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the mixed grill and it met all expectations. The meat arrived on a hot sizzling platter, and it tasted great. If you want good, traditional Pakistani food, this is a wonderful little restaurant that does the job. It might not have posh ambience, but it does have really nice spicy food that hits the spot! And for a price point you can’t argue with

I had butter naan and kadhai chicken from the place last year which was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever. Expecting similar, I ordered chicken biryani and lamb samosas for delivery today which was not upto par. Delivery time was prolonged which would have been tolerable if the food was acceptable which sadly was not the case. The biryani was nothing as expected. Rice was clumped together and the usual spices which would make the biryani delicious were conspiciously missing. It was basically a colored rice with pieces of chicken and a sprinkling of cumin and coriander seeds. Maybe it was a one time fluke, willing to give the place a try again though!

We have been here a few times for lunch and dinner. Each time the food was spectacular and the quality of food has been consistent each time. The meat is well cooked and literally melts in your mouth. Staff are friendly and the service is quick and efficient. We tried a variety of different items from the menu and were blown away with each. It is definitely a place that you should visit.

I placed an order over a week ago and they didn’t have an item so they rang me which is fine and I nicely responded no problem can you just refund me the money for the missing item and the guy got all weird with me so I explained im not a fan of the other things and if he can’t refund to give me a voucher /coupon for my next order . Basically I was told no and I have not received a refund just yet. So rude

Lovely traditional food from the heart of punjab. Kebabs with nan or parathas are my favourite. Half a tandoori chicken is enough at times.. w fresh Nan

The restaurant is conveniently located at one corner of High Street. The staffs are polite and helpful and the food is generally well cooked and delicious but the following points worth noting. * the service is very slow * the Nan bread was served cold * the Paratha served was not really a Pratha but just a whole meal flour thick chapati with oil spread on it. What a cheat! We have eaten in Lahore. It definitely was not a Lahori authentic Paratha. The chef must take some lessons. * Paya dish was cooked well * Lamb masala was also cooked good. * they don’t serve tap water! This was totally bizarre and never experienced before.

Waste of money (and time). This place fully abuses the fact that there is no other curry house in immediate vicinity. We ordered few things recently but was a total waste !!! Chicken was burnt - chips were old and had been re fried (pathetic thing to do) - and nan breads were totally cold . We had to throw away most of it . offcourer we were not eating food for the first time and would know what's fresh and what is not!l . I feel for the workers there . They seems to be working hard but perhaps overwhelmed or short staffed -

Was visiting Watford from Kent and wanted to eat some real authentic food. The food was just amazing.. The curries were delicious and exactly what i was craving for. The ambiance is not a glitzy one but the food it top notch. The service was very welcoming. We enjoyed our meal and i would definitely recommend it to my friends visiting Watford ...

Where do I begin? I’m not sure of the authentic taste of Lahore because I’ve never been there. But if the food here us anything to go by, it is super! Every dish was delicious. We had the kebabs and Karahi. Service was quick and with a smile. We totally loved it.

It’s amazing how these guys have maintained their standards and quality of food in all these years. I’ve been a customer for 12yrs and I always enjoy the food, the staff is brilliant, very friendly and respectful. Even when everyone is charging ridiculous prices for poor quality foods, these guys have kept their prices reasonable. If you are ever in Watford, do check Taste of Lahore out. Their Haleem is awesome, my other favourites are 1/2 chicken and chips, mix grill and achari gosht.

Have been coming here for quite a few years, although had been awhile since visiting today. The layout have changed substantially, and somehow the booths have become more crowded and tight. The staff seem more interested in either leisurely wandering about, crowding the till area for a natter or hiding out back. When they do magically appear, ordering from the now super hacked down menu, and asking for the main to come seperately from the starters, so they can be enjoyed, causes confusion, so they don't bother and just bring it all at once and plonk it down. Ok, it's like that eh, want us to eat up and get out? Well the chicken is sheesh starters are poorly spiced and bland, the lamb not much better. the mains were ok, perhaps some heat proof lids on the pots so we don't scald ourselves?The TV screens show ice cream, great, lets order some, what arrives is a 500ml solid tub, and 3 plastic spoons, between 5 of us.... could we have some bowls please? Staff bring 5 massive salad bowls, that's all they have, apparantly. Overall, the venue, staff quality, service, food quality and menu choice have simply fallen off a cliff. Have the owners changed? Do they actually care? I noticed there seems to be a different web address, that doesn't gel with all the other places that used to be connected, like Ealing and Harrow. All I can say is for the five of us, this was a poor experience, and we won't be returning, shame.

A group of us went there couple of weeks ago in Watford . It was unfriendly, dirty and 5-6 people got sick that night! Don't go!!

I have been to this restaurant a lot, but the last time I was so disappointed, we ordered the our food when the restaurant was empty after us 4 other groups came in…we weren’t given the sauces yet all others groups were given. Everyone other group got their food before us. The person that took our order then went out with his colleague and starting chatting in front of the restaurant. After waiting 20 minutes, I’ve asked how long considering we were the first group to order. They didn’t apologise or anything just walked off. Then when the food came everyone on our table got the food apart from me, I had waited another 20 minutes and when I asked the staff members they didn’t seemed bothered and cared more about their conversation. I ordered the same as my brother so I still was confused and kept being told 2 or 3 minutes. Once we finished I asked to removed the service charge and then they asked me to pay in cash and that they have a free cash machine outside. I refused and said the service I had was not acceptable and will pay with card considering they had a card machine. Once I paid another staff member asked “why you taking card payment?”,we gonna be charged now VAT..just say card machine isn’t working. (Spoken in Urdu) which I speak I was shocked and replied back I’ll pay in card in Urdu ! DO NOT GO !!!!! The food is good but I won’t do again to this restaurant!

Food wasn't great for the price paid, ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Karahi but didn't meet the expectations we were hoping for. Service was a little slow and the restaurant does not offer tap water for drinking which is unusual as never experienced that before. Wasn't very busy at the time so had plenty of time for us, but was disappointing.

A shoutout for kebab. Rest everything seems to be tasteless.

Please do not eat at this restaurant. Last time I visited this place I suffered severe stomach pains and diarrhoea after eating their food. The management obviously do not take customer health and hygiene seriously. If you value your health please reconsider before ordering or visiting this restaurant. There are many clean well run restaurants within the town centre that deserve your business.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for many years now and thoroughly recommend the food and the decent ambience. Their food is tasty and well cooked, portions are generous and it is reasonably priced. This is why it’s so popular with people and the owners need to take note of this. We ordered a lamb dish which was very well cooked, the meat was tender without any fat - how we like it. And portions were generous. Due to the high turnover of people, extra effort has to be made to keep the place clean all the time and the washroom area as well.

I recently dined at a restaurant that I frequent often and while the food was consistently good, I was disappointed with the customer service provided by two of the staff members. Specifically, two gentlemen stood out to me - one was tall with curly hair, and the other always wore a cap and had fair skin with a beard. Unfortunately, their service left much to be desired. On multiple occasions, I found them to be unresponsive and dismissive, which detracted from my overall dining experience. While I appreciate that they may have been busy, it would have been nice to receive a more attentive and welcoming service. That being said, I cannot fault the quality of the food at this restaurant. The dishes are consistently well-prepared and delicious, and the menu offers a good variety of options. However, the poor customer service provided by the two gentlemen mentioned earlier is something that management should address in order to improve the overall dining experience for their patrons.

I am a regular customer for a while now, all the time two of the staffs are very unprofessional and ridiculous with their attitude. Two gents staff. One with curly hair and other one always wear a cap with beard. One of the Best food in town. Very affordable as well.

Food Poisoning We (myself and my husband)had acute food poising from a take away from this place. We had a near death experience where we were extremely ill for over 2 weeks. We had to call ambulance as we couldn’t even move due to extreme dehydration and starvation as result of food poisoning. We are extremely angry.

I recently had a pleasure of dining here and I must say it was an incredible experience. The restaurant specializes in desi food and definitely exceeded my expectations. The menu had a great selection of desi dishes and everything we ordered was full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
