Traditional Thai food, delicious.

Lovely and authentic Thai food. I really recommend it. The fried calamari were soft and very tasteful. The crispy belly pork was absolutely yummy and full of flavour. The pub isn't very good. Before Apple took under control of the kitchen, this pub was only a place where people were getting drunk any day of the week. I was a bit afraid to go inside for a meal. For that reason, I can't give 5 stars to the Pub, but I give 6 stars to the food.

The Dome Bar serves one of the best Thai food. The service of all the staff members is amazing and very friendly. A highly recommended place for your next Thai food experience. Apple manages the place excellently.

Had to pay £5 to gain entry.. Very Expensive.. No ales or even Guiness! Certainly won't be rushing back!!

Thai Dinner Night with a few friends

First time here , good layout and friendly bar staff , parking is a bit tricky but plenty of side roads and only a short walk to the pub ..

Excelent service, friendly staff and great bands

Our first visit to The Dome Bar. We went to sample more of Apple's amazing Thai food on her and her team's first night as The Dome's new in-pub restaurant (previously only available to take away). We were so well looked after and Apple's food was so delicious. The sauces are so authentic and tasty. This wins hands down the best Thai in Watford. We will definitely be regulars! The decor and atmosphere in The Dome bar, after renovation, was also surprisingly good. Our only point of feedback is for the bar itself to put on a wine list and/or stock a selection of bottles of wine please as they only had mini bottles of Merlot available.

Went to watch a band. Pub ok. Lots of TV showing sport. Drinks price pretty good.

Wheelchair friendly access & Accessible facilities

A small, cosy pub, not far from The Dome roundabout (hence its name) with good value beer, Sky Sports and, most importantly, dart boards! The venue regularly hosts live bands, although I prefer to meet up with a friend there on quieter evenings when I'm visiting family in Watford. The bar lady, Sarah, is very friendly and helped show me how to work the electronic darts scoreboard (no chalk needed here!). She told me the place is super busy on Saturdays, so get there early if you want a seat. North Watford has always lacked really good pubs for some reason, but this is definitely the best boozer in that part of town. I can't wait to go back for another evening of Guinness and darts. It was a great night out!

Cracking and well run venue with super live bands, fabulous atmosohere, and a fast and efficient bar staff that on your order in seconds. Big bonus is that it's free admission to see bands, unlike another nearby live music venue that charges a big entrance fee to see live bands.

I understand and respect the staff and rules of this pub. I wish more pubs followed the licence rules This is 100% a 5 star pub, without a shadow of doubt. I hope this pub runs proud for many more years Very respectful pub. More pubs should follow you lead. All the best

The establishment is racist! There is a video circulating online of the owners refusing to serve individuals due to their race which is an illegal breach of the The Equality Act 2010. Disgusting that they think this is acceptable🤮🤮🤮🤮

Have been coming here for years with friends. The pub is very basic but the Thai is superb. Not somewhere you would come for a treat but certainly with friends or as a couple for some decent food at a decent price

Had a Thai delivered the first and last time from this place. Taste was bland, chicken was cheap quality and curry was watery. Very disappointed should have stayed with my usual Thai. Thai Orchid in Rickmansworth.

Warm and welcoming. Great Thai food at a very reasonable price. Not somewhere I’d go for a special evening out, but perfect for an evening out with friends. My favourite eatery within walking distance of my home.

Went to the Dome bar after i finished my shift, got a pint and everything was gong well. After my second pint my fella got asked to leave because he was chatting to people at the bar who he didnt know and was having a laugh, the customers didnt reconise him and the landlord took this as a threat and asked him and me to leave. This is not hospitality in any way and NOT a PUBLIC hoise as is so says it is. I do not recomend this place, I've lived in watford my whole life and never had this sort of treatment.

Stumbled across this pub and fell in love with it straight away. I can only imagine the great nights that this pub has seen. Staff are fantastic. Beer tastes great and you would never miss a moment's sport with all the tellys. Hope I get back to Watford soon. Next time I will try the food

This is a good quiet pub with amazing food. The live music thats on almost every weekend is always 100%

Friendly staff and customers in here and they make strangers feel welcome,good ale too.Only been here a few times but never had a problem and as I say everyone are friendly to strangers.

Like the place but no one moves so that you can get served at the bar. Should have a designated spot to get served

Looks can be deceiving, from the outside maybe not so great but inside, it's warm, friendly & has a good local atmosphere well worth a visit

Kinda rubbish photos. We went to see scary canary and we all thought it looked a bit ruff on the outside but couldn't have had a nicer time! The band was good along with the drinks. The staff were nice and put safety first by the looks of it. Think a guy was on drugs and they through him out pretty sharpish. Nice pub guys. Shame we are not that local.

We’ve driven past this pub thousands and thousands of times but finally walked up tonight to try the Thai menu. We weren’t disappointed lovely clean pub, beautiful decorated and comfy seats. We shared chicken satay and duck pancakes. The chicken satay was delicious the peanut sauce was nice a crunchy. I had a prawn pad thai which was lovely and fresh and the prawns soft and beautifully cooked. The other half had duck ma-kam with egg fried rice it looked delicious. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu. A real treat, we really enjoyed.

Nice pub has multiple screens for watching sports, they have live bands most Saturdays. They also supply Thai food which I hear is very good, I don't like Thai food so I can't really comment.

Great atmosphere, good TVs accommodating all sports, happy to show if you ask. Made a request to watch F1 during a busy football day, made me feel very welcome and dedicated a TV to it. Very nice Thai food on offer too.

Just returned there after a year. The place has been fully remodeled is clean and cozy. The landlord is very friendly and helpfull. They have a good lineup of live music on weekends. A good spot for a nice drop of beer.

Good bar, well stocked. I come for lunch weekly. Good Thai food, very authentic. For fellow spice lovers, they can increase the spice ante on demand.

Went in for a quick lunch. Had a panini. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. They had a wide variety of lunch time menu, all day breakfast and grilled foods as well as sandwiches.

Bad mannered rude staff, dirty pub, smells bad, avoid

I have just called. And I am so disappointed. I wanted to order my meal by the phone as it is imposible to order online for collection. All I got it is been told off by a very rude and angry man. Shouting very loud at me, he said he is very busy, and I have to order online. What have I done wrong? I am calling you because I am gonna give you my money! without customers you cannot be busy, you cannot work, doesn't matter how good you are! Just remember. Today you are in the top, and what is in the top can fall.

Good music on Saturday and special events days ie St Patrick's day. Reasonable drinks price comfortable seating.

It's easy to miss this place, it doesn't really look like a pub from the outside. It's painted black..... Stopped for a lunch. Thai dishes sampled - less than £5 each - tasty stuff happily tailored to your requirement. There seems to be a range of lager and Guinness/Guinness Extra Cold. My rating - the pub is probably below average. The grub above average. My appetite was sated. A satisfied customer.
