Food was late and arrived cold.

Reliably good food. Always have the same thing and it's very consistent so you know what to expect. Highly recommended.

Food came 1 hour early. Sent it back, was returned at 7.15. Food warm, chicken tough. They used to be good. Not interested in complaints.

missing naan from the balti meal, and sag aloo near swimming in oil. Balti itself was good as were the bhajis. also restaurant got in touch quickly when I reported the balti issue which they knew was a missing naan without me saying so. they've offered some sort of recompense if I order again though I'm not sure how that'll work if I do so via the just eat app.

Delivered on time, good food and reasonably priced

Sadly the food this time round was nowhere near as good as usual. Not sure if the chef has changed but the saag was REALLY poor and the garlic naan was dry. Will look to order curry from elsewhere next time for a change which is slightly disappointing as always praised Le Raj for its quality.

Decided to try Le Raj for a take away on a weekday evening. When you walk in the front door it’s like walking into someone’s living room with dining table, sofa and armchairs !! I ordered a shami kebab which was nice, juicy and tasty. The salad was fresh and the mint sauce was surprisingly good. I also had lamb tikka madras, garlic rice and garlic naan bread. The lamb tikka pieces in the madras were disappointing and just full of gristle making it very chewy. However the sauce itself was good. Thick and full of flavour. I think the garlic rice was just pilau rice because I couldn’t taste or see any garlic. The naan bread was fresh and actually tasted very good. It is very reasonably priced and I will try them again but next time I will avoid the lamb !!

Curry was OK, kind of home made style. Don't know what was going on with the poppadoms but they were disgusting, tasted like plastic, and were thrown away.

Service was great and food came in the time expected which was good. Food was still warm when it got to me which is a nice change to some other places. The only thing that let it down for me is that my korma was a bit watery and I prefer a thicker less liquidy korma. I would probably order again but maybe try a different dish.

We’ve ordered from here many times before but this time, the food was unfortunately quite disappointing. The chilli garlic chicken had no heat to it and was super oily, and the chicken tikka masala was so incredibly sweet compared to usual. We’ll give it another go as this is one of our regulars but it’s a shame it didn’t live up to its usual standards

Delivery stood side on, holding my food abit too long, looking past me, whilst saying "Alright. How are you doing. Good?" bit odd n Over familiar for a delivery Anyhow food only warm, had to eat it quick before it got cold. Madras container was crushed, loads of ghee all over the bottom of the containers, pooling in bottom of bag. Too much ghee still pooling in the Madras i recovered. Also was mildly spiced and no heat to speak of. The best item was the mint sauce and the chicken tika starter.

Very dissapointed cold food missing items and wrong items sent I'm a regular customer so surprised at it being so dissapointing.

The food is always great and on time. Not as fast as some other places, but fast is not always good when cooking. They often include a little free treat, which is a nice touch. I am new to Kempston and Le Raj is my new Indian Restaurant of choice! 👍

No salad with starter. No options to order onion salad, red onion and/or chutney. 2 poppadoms and nothing to dip them in. I thought onion raitha would be an onion salad of some kind, not the first time I’ve made this mistake but it will be my last. It’s awful stuff! On the plus side the byriani came with a veg curry wasn’t needed to order a separate dish which a lot of Indian takeaways are doing now.

The description was totally different to what we actually got the rice supposed to have almonds and sultanas and cardamom seeds and coconut and none that was in the biraani plus the rice was different and it did not taste like a biranni and there were hardly any chicken in it and the cauliflower side dish were very small but we are regularly customers we spent nearly £50 and left over half of it and we won’t be use them again very disappointed

Great hot fresh food, so tasty. Booked a 7pm delivery time but it came at 7:30 but it was Saturday night so imagine it was very busy. That was our only issue, but otherwise, great quality food! Xx

Food cold roti hard, raita well just a lump of yoghurt with a bit of cucumber thrown on top very disappointed, popodum well soggy not nice at all I paid a lot for a treat ( well will not go here again )

Don’t have the fried chicken, it was chewy, dry and tasteless I wouldn’t even give it to my cat! But the rest of the food was great as always

Realise it was a Friday night so probably busy, but did take just under an hour and a half in the end. Had a text to say they were running late so pleased we were informed and didn't need to chase. But obviously overall the wait felt quite long. However the food was nice, so we would order again.

Normally really great. However, we waited over two hours for delivery. Had we known the delivery would take so long we wouldn't have ordered. Rang twice and was told 15 minutes each time even though there was 30 minutes between each call. Very disappointed

Our order arrived :-) the balti was the best Indian meal my husband has eaten since 30 years. The pakora was also the best we had since that time, thank you. This is our first Indian meal since we moved to Bedford. We found our favourite. Thanks for a really lovely meal.

Our bhajis were not in the delivery and there appears to be less meat in the curries. Overall though it is still delicious and we will order again

This is my favourite Indian restaurant and order every week because the food is delicious but last night I was absolutely shocked when I took my poppodoms out of the bag. They were different to normal, burnt to an absolute crisp (literally brown all over) and they were spicy! I love anything spicy but I didn't order spicy ones. Whoever packed these and thought it was ok to send them out needs a good talking to! If I could have added a picture of them to this review I would have.

I have used this take away for 10 plus years However the last year or so there is always something missing and on ringing and asking for it we are basically told tough Our order is for a family so always between £30-£50 and pay delivery fee on top Such a shame as it is always lovely food but we won’t be using them anymore
