The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

Forget any revues over 3 months old. A new crew doing the business and they know their stuff. Tandoori chicken with some tomato Dahl was beautiful tasting. Will be back for more.

Had great dinner here with mum, food was excellent and very tasty many thanks.

Waitress was kind enough to accommodate us despite not having a reservation. Nasi lemak was disappointing. The sambal was cold and sweet. The acar was on its way to being off. The chicken curry was a good portion of 3 and luckily somebody remembered to heat it up. Char kuei tiaw was reasonably good. I had made an order for the kids when we sat down at the table making it clear it was for the kids. Unfortunately they kept it aside and only passed our order to the kitchen after we got back to them with the rest of our order. One order came late after the rest of us was close to finishing. Even then the waitress had to be reminded that we had not received the char kuei tiaw. The waitress had to be reminded of one of our drink orders too . We ordered ice cream and mango sago. I found the sago hard. Perhaps it was not thawed sufficiently from the freezer. Banana fritters were served instead of cream only and after mentioning that they got our order wrong , the kitchen staff told us they had run out of ice cream and will charge us for the ice Cream order only. Sadly. I watched him thereafter and he didn’t bother to mention it to the person at the counter. He was present as we paid the bill but didn’t mention it then either. By this time we had already had a long day and paid whatever bill was. I noticed the other tables were delighted by their Chinese menu orders. A previous customer also had a delayed delivery of their meal whilst the others on the table ate theirs. A couple came and were made to wait but was not seated immediately when a table was cleaned and made available. Eventually they left.

Visited in the weekday and had a lunch set! The food is delicious and especially the Tempura 🍤! Highly recommended!

I attended Maliks last night for a charity event, arranged by Mark Mason, to support Thames Hospice. After a few drinks we all sat down for a set meal created by Malik (three courses with a superb choice of flavours). The food was fantastic and the service was incredible. How Malik’s team managed to serve such an excellent hot meal for about 100 people, who all sat down at once, I will never understand. Thank you Mark and Malik for a wonderful evening.

Had a takeaway, it arrived very late and was cold, they couldn't find us but didn't bother ringing. Cold on arrival and they sent 1 starter and we'd paid for 2. We're local and won't bother again. Very disappointing.

Worst restaurant ever.... Will not try again.... Not recommended for the people who like to eat tasty food also the staff was disappointed not even know how to behave .... 1/10😞

We went last night & What an absolute gem of a place, amazing quality food at an amazing price. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the food. King prawn appetiser was done perfectly Chicken shashlik main dish was great too £30 per person with appetiser, main and a drink. Great value 👍

So pleased that Venue 7 is open and thriving! Living locally, we pop in once a week. Owners are friendly, the venue is clean, relaxed and modern. Bar snacks and games available, great drink selection and dog friendly! Lovely place to enjoy the river with HUGE outdoor seating area. Highly recommend, especially the spicy prawn crackers!

Amazing food in the restaurant. Bedrooms are a little tired but are shortly to be revamped.

Food was too salty and bland, possibly not fresh. My mouth is still salty. Very disappointed 😔

Had another amazing meal last night… great food and fantastic service nothing is to much trouble I had the North Indian garlic chicken absolutely fabulous food how Indian food should be …definitely worth a visit ..
