One of the best cold noodles I’ve had other than the ones in Korea! Great kimchi pancake as well ! Location is near central London but the restaurant is a bit small so you might have to wait for a bit for tables. Overall very nice and helpful staff that will gladly recommend food if it’s your first time at a Korean restaurant!

Came here for a quick dinner with friends on Sunday night, and we all enjoyed the cold noodle soup a lot! Both the standard one and the spicy one taste really good, especially on a hot summer day like this☀️ The japche and the seafood pancake were delicious as well though we did not finish all food as the portions are quite big.

I recently dined at Bi Won next to the British Museum, and it was fantastic! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed beef Bibimbap, seafood pancake, and rice cakes, all of which were delicious. The soju was a perfect addition to our meal. Highly recommend this spot for an amazing Korean dining experience!

Some of the waiter's service is awful. I was waiting for a table and the waitress let the table behind me go in first and when I questioned it she chose to ignore me and gave me an uncomfortable attitude.

i’ve been here for the first time, without reading the reviews... and i really liked the place it was really quiet and intimate and the staff was very nice. food was delicious and the prices are low.

Great food at decent prices, polite staff. Cold noodles were yum, kimchi jigae was good but missing the spiciness. BBQ pork was also yum!

Service in the upstairs portion of the restaurant by a lady was outstanding! She was always there when we wanted to ask for something and helped us cook our hotpot at our table very well. She even got us takeaway boxes before we even asked! Also, the portion sizes are pretty big and the food is fairly good.

Booked in advance. Great choice and variety on the menu - we ordered a complete mix of items! All were absolutely delicious! My favourite was the kimchi pancakes, the chilli KFC (boneless), and the beef bulgogi! Drank plenty of soju, trying out the different flavours they had! Cannot fault the service, they were very friendly and attentive! Definitely one that we would come back to as the food was delicious, I was absolutely stuffed, quite tipsy, and for a reasonable price!

Food is good. However, my experience was significantly marred by the poor service I received from an Asian female server on the second floor. Her attitude was unwelcoming, almost as if the customers owed her money. She was expressionless and gave off a very cold vibe, which made the dining experience very uncomfortable and awkward. I hope she enjoys her job more. I couldn’t help but feel that her behavior was discriminatory. This kind of service really detracts from the overall experience, and it’s something the restaurant needs to address.

Recommended by a Korean friend, it really tastes right and is absolutely delicious. The environment is also very Asian - it has a different feel depending on the perspective - and the seating is not friendly to larger people, but that's typical of many Asian stores.

Been a regular for the past 6 years. Until 2020 it was managed by a lovely lady, but after it, apparently the restaurant got lots of attention on some asian social and became very popular. This is the top Korean restaurant that can be found in London. Highly recommended. Due to its popularity, a reservation is recommended.

Probably the best Korean place I've had

I ordered Korean mixed vegetables and glass noodles, but when I returned to the hotel, my stomach was super bloated, I had crazy cramping pain, vomiting and diarrhea, I vomited three times in total throughout the night🤮, I even felt dizzy and had a low fever, so I canceled the next few points of the itinerary, guessing it was fungus It is very stale and produces fermentation acid, which can lead to food poisoning. After reading the comments, we are not the only ones experiencing this situation. I hope the restaurant can pay more attention to the preservation of food.

I went during the evening peak time and waited a long time before going in... Boss? employee? Anyway, you were so kind that it warmed my heart. They even gave me a drink to keep me waiting. The stir-fried pork, soybean paste stew, bean sprouts on the side, and lettuce wrap were all delicious.

The food is good, cos the good location I always go to there. But everytime the service was terrible, idk why these Korean waitress were all with the unhappy face. When I need some ice or tissue, their attitudes were so mean. And the rice cake with unmelted grated cheese, I have no idea why they serve the rice cake like this.

This is a little hidden restaurant near Holborn that is definitely worth visiting. The staff is very friendly, patient, and helpful with making food choices and recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious and couldn't stop looking at all the other dishes being served to other tables, wanting to try them too haha. Great experience and not too expensive. Good place for groups and to share a variety of dishes.

Second time come to this restaurant. But I am disappointed cos the pork bone soup I ordered is too Greasy！

This place was one of the worst experiences I've had in london service wise. We called 20 times to try and reach them(different times of day) and to ask if it was okay to bring a cake to celebrate a birthday. No luck, so we brought it, only to be told our 9 people table wouldn't be able to have the cake there, we made sure to explain we tried to call and they said okay after one of us got up to explain it. The moment we sat down at our 20h30 reservation (which they said we'd lose if we were 5 minutes late) they told us that we'd need to leave by 22h30 or go downstairs. This is before we ordered. While the food itself was good, it was quite expensive and not of a quality you can't get for cheaper at other places. But at the end it got ridiculous when I had to ask the server to clear the table after we had finished long ago and ask for the cake. She handed me the box and I had to do everything myself. Including asking for a lighter, lighting the cake and bring it to the table. Once the cake was at the table, the server didn't bring plates or cutlery. I had to ask them for it and was told they were closing in 10 minutes. We had to eat too fast for this celebration to be enjoyed and on the website said they closed at 23h. After we paid a very large bill as we all ordered loads I think this was unacceptable. To finish it off the payment was made complicated and the server was rude and actively rolled her eyes at us when we were all very polite despite our experience. So, I will not be coming back and if you aren't a fast eater or are celebrating something, avoid this at all costs. Very disappointing

Sorry to leave this review but think people should be aware before going in, as the food is quite expensive (considering other nearby options) and unfortunately our experience wasn’t good. The upstairs is extremely loud and it’s hard to hear the people right next to you (there is a constant karaoke machine right next to the table and the room is small). We were a group of 7 people and had requested a birthday cake. They told us we could not eat it, then said we could, then it seemed they were trying to discourage us from celebrating by not clearing our table until we asked them to, not giving us forks until asked. We understood they wanted us to leave by 10:30 so we said we were happy to order before our whole party arrived, and we moved speedily through the dining experience (they shouldn’t let people book for 20:30 if it has to be in such rushed conditions) anyhow, we tried to rush everything but they weren’t helping us clear plates on the table for dessert. Was very strange. Our bill amounted to almost £300 and when it was time to pay we were told we had to pay one big bill (which is absurd for such a large amount) or split equally. We insisted we couldn’t do either, as we all ordered very different things. Though they eventually conceded, this was not well received and we were overall treated rudely. Quite a shame and we regret choosing this restaurant to celebrate an important birthday.

This is my second time dined at Bi Won and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the food was average and the waitress at the reception provided decent service, I must highlight a negative encounter with the skinny Asian waiter who resembled Pororo in look. This waiter's behavior was notably rude during our interaction, and what bothered me even more was the uncomfortable lack of social distance. Despite expressing my discomfort, he remained too close throughout the interaction. I could even see the cakey foundation around his nose. With the abundance of Korean restaurants in London, there's no reason for customers to endure such unpleasant experiences. I urge the management to be mindful when hiring, ensuring that all staff contribute positively to the overall dining experience. Won’t return to this restaurant again.

The rudest Korean restaurant ever! They wouldn’t inform the customers of the closing hours and they literally chase away the customers when it got to their closing time. They don’t care if you have finished the food or if your food is served just now. When it’s time, you are ORDERED to leave. The service team were shouting and letting the door open when the customers were still dining inside, given the fact that it was minus outside. (and they are asking for 10% service charge anyways) My advice: never waste your money on this place. You will lose your money as well as your good mood for the day!

Came here with my family to make them try something new and they absolutely loved it. The waiters were so nice and available and the mood was lovely. The portions were also very big and more than enough. I can't get over the fact that they were amazingly polite and accomodating. I would 100% come back if i ever come to London again, such a nice experience.

Extrêmement déçus ! Mon partenaire et sommes y sommes allés pensant manger un barbecue à Noël...cela n'a rien d'un barbecue. Le concept n'est pas respecté ou compris. Nos viandes (petites portions) ont été cuites en cuisine, apportées avant l'entrée. Ma viande a été servi 20min avant celle de mon partenaire. Nous avons dû demandé le réchauffement de nos viandes... Le riz est en supplément...pourquoi pas mais froid. L'entrée de poulets était bonne. Aussi bien leur définition de barbecue que les suppléments riz ne sont expliqués sur la carte, ni par la serveuse. Alors que sur leur carte, ils y a bien l'image d'une plaque pour le barbecue. Le jus d'aloé véra est plus composé de glaçons que de jus...au vu de son prix, ce n'est pas normal. Le prix à la fin était exorbitant avec une taxe pour les serveurs supérieurs aux autres restaurants...et pourtant nous avons beaucoup consommé en extérieur. Je ne sais toujours pas ce que j'ai mangé pour un tel prix. Avec la conversion, l'addition était encore plus salée! La table à côté n'était pas mieux. Le mari a fini son plat que ni sa femme n'a été servi d'un plat chaud, ni de leur entrée. Si je ne voulais pas manger en même temps que mon partenaire, je serais allée manger toute seule!

근처에서 라이언킹 뮤지컬 보고 먹으러 간 저녁 뼈해장국과 부대찌개 그러고 족발 먹었어요. 뼈해장국은 뼈가 너무 많아서 기절하는줄 뼈 발굴하다 제 뼈까지 발굴할뻔 했네요. 부대찌개도 진짜 얼큰하고 맛있었어요.라면사리까지 들어가있어 음처기 동생이 배부르다고 좀 남기기 까지 함 족발 맛있어요ㅜ유럽에선 잘 먹기 힘든데 갬동 받고 갑니다.. 총총총

This is my second time to Bi Won. Last time I sat downstairs and this time upstairs. 👀 Both seats are comfy, and both dining experiences are wonderful! 🤗 The restaurant is filled with nice deco and festive vibe, especially with the poppy music 🎶 💃🏻 I also like the plates, bowls, and stew pots, they match the table and chairs very well. 😉 Hope you will like here as much as I do! 🥰

the budae jjigae and kimchi pancake was good but the fried chicken was extremely dry and was mostly bones (it was £30 for the chicken)

I haven’t eaten in yet, but yesterday I resumed a weekend tradition of getting a seafood pancake takeaway for brunch. It was damn good I’ll tell you. The lady who served me was super friendly and the food came really quick. I’ll be coming back to sit down in the near future 👍

I had the fried chicken and kimchi pancakes, the chicken was pretty dry and difficult to eat, still having a lot of bones. Also the breading for the chicken was poorly done and we were given weird cuts of meat.The pancakes were plain and nothing special. Considering the price I feel it was extremely over rated.

A small and busy restaurant during lunch time. A caucasian waitress seem to know how to provide good customer service. But not the chubby unfriendly korean waiter, who really put me off a bit with his unwelcome attitude...told us not to use side door entrance to go into the restaurant, i replied to him that it is another caucasion waitress who open the side door for us and lead the way as the front of the restaurant are too busy to go in. Steamboat portion is good size for 3_4 peoples, although we have only two persons, we managed to finished it all. Kimchi soup based is a big salty otherwise all taste good. It is a small table to put everything on the table, luckily we only order the steamboat which seem occupied the whole table.

Since it's a restaurant that celebrities have been to, my expectations were a bit high at first, and I was even a bit worried that I'd be disappointed. But in the end, the taste of the food far exceeded expectations and was simply delicious! The service was fantastic! Small store but friendly service! Suggestion Jokbal- Traditional Korean Pork Knuckle and Feet Soy chicken wings- Korean fried chicken We have 2 people. Ordered two mains, a soup, and a fried rice. Also ordered beer and drinks. The portion was big that we didn't finish it and packed two big boxes.

Great and authentic Korean food. I highly suggest the short ribs, cold noodles and pickled vegetables.

맛있고 양도 많아요. 감자탕 족발 육개장2 뚝불 갈비탕 막걸리2 잡채 해물볶음밥 큰물2. 이렇게 시키니 220파운드 정도나오네요. 전체적으로 맛났어요. 좀 매콤한거 좋아하는분은 육개장 추천. 달달한거는 뚝불. 단백한거는 갈비탕 추천해요. 감자탕은 3명이 먹기엔 충분, 4명은 살짝 부족할듯해요. 단품들은 혼자먹기에 넉넉한 양입니다. 단품들은 밥포함. 감자탕은 밥별도에요. 사진은 먹다보니 못 찍었어서 다른분들거 참고하세요. 기본맛은 외국인입맛보단 한국인입맛에 가까운 맛입니다. 알바생의 한국메뉴발음에 깜짝놀람. 발음이 좋아요. 뚝불 ~~

I love this place! Everytime I want authentic Korean food I come here and always feel satisfied when I leave. I recommend the fried chicken, vegetable glass noodles, and the kimchi pancake.

look at the huge GAMJATANG !!! it is delicious and lovely! ! also jockbal as well!! but my favourite from this restaurant is Yookejang (육개장) lovely place with great staff. always having happy memories when i get here. highly recommend!!! 영국 15년 살면서 이런 감자탕 먹어본지 정말 오래되었는데 넷이상 모이면 무조건 시켜요 감자탕!! 그리고 혼자 먹을때는 무조건 육개장갑니다. 대체적으로 음식을 잘하긴 하지만, 국 찌개류가 진짜 끝내줘요 육개장의 소고기 그냥 칼로 자른게 아니라 손으로찢은게 티가납니다. 주부로써 그게 얼마나 손많이 가는지 알기에 정성으로 만들었구나 하며 정말 잘 먹어요!!!!!! 누군가 한국음식점 추천해달라고하면 무조건 1 티어로 소개되는 집 입니다!!

避雷 味道不行 点了炒杂菜和牛肉汤结果上来两盘原料一模一样的玩意……也没人提醒我 而且和图上严重不符 餐单上标的价格竟然还不含税这不离谱？想收服务费也别把服务费说成是税吧

Very nice meal. I ordered GunManDu (dumplings) and Yukge Jang (spicy beef stew). The GunManDu were crispy and tasty but I found them quite oily. The Yukge Jang was delicious. Lots and lots of pulled beef some veg and egg in a spicy broth. The item had 2 chillies in the menu but it was not as spicy as I thought it would be. Nevertheless I loved it.

Great Korean restaurant with a homey feel to it. Food selection was great and staff were friendly. If I really have to critique the food then the only thing I would say is that the fried chicken was not as crispy as I want them to be, but each to there own, and overall everything was very delicious. If you want nice authentic Korean food around the area then look no further. Would recommend.

The food here was soo soo incredible. Had to wait a little while to get a table and the restaurant seemed very busy (which is a good sign anyway haha) but when we did get seated the service was quick and friendly the food was amazing. Kimchi pancake was the best i’ve ever eaten it was so tasty, the food came out quickly and everything was reasonably priced. 10/10 ! :^)

This is THE Best Korean restaurant in Europe. I am korean. This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Europe. We waited for the table for 20~30mins. It was worth the wait. We didn't think we were going to drink with dinner, but the food reminded me too much of Korea. I had to enjoy my food with soju and beer! With my girl friend, we drank 5 bottles of soju and 2 beers. The fried chicken was Korean market style. I loved it! Budaechigae was just the right level of spicy and all they don't skimp on ingredients. Service was so great, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait for my next visit!!!

예약하고 가시는 것을 추천드립니다! 뚝배기 불고기와 뼈해장국을 먹었습니다. 뚝불은 상상되는 딱 그 맛이어서 좋았습니다. 뼈해장국은 먹을수록 밑부분이 타서 탄 맛때문에 아쉬웠습니다. 밑반찬으로 김치도 시켰는데, 한국김치 맛을 느끼기엔 아쉬웠습니다.

Muy buena impresión de este restaurante. En cuanto a ubicación, muy buena si estas por Covent Garden o British Museum. Dentro es tranquilo y bien ambientado. Mucha gente local de ascendencia asiática, que en este caso considero buen indicativo. La comida super rica, los fideos super bien hechos y las sopas con gran potencia de saber. Precios asequibles y justificados.

I very rarely write a review of a mediocre experience, but honestly this place was so weird and expensive for what we got, that I feel compelled to contribute. A side of really old kimchi was £4.50 amongst other things, and they charged £2.50 for a couple of slices of green chilies. The music was coming so loud from the tv and the staff were super distracted. The pork back soup was delicious, but there was not much meat in it and tiny for £18. I know inflation is a hot topic but that was absurd.
