Me he alojado aquí dos veces.

Grandes platos a precios asequibles.

We went on a Sunday evening at 6pm and the restaurant was already 70% full with mainly Koreans, which was a good sign. We ordered the seafood pajeon (pancake) which was ok, not the best we've had but the beef and baby octopus hotpot was delicious. Lots of tender beef, ample amount of octopus and tofu, veg, glass noodles, with fantastic flavours. We ordered the medium size (£23) between 2 people and it was more than enough, we couldn't even finish it all. We tend to go to New Malden for Korean food but we were in town so decided to try this place. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Went with my uncle and his friend, both their first time for Korean food, I've had it a few times before. Restaurant was packed, mostly with Korean clientele, always a good sign. Waiter was friendly but not too helpful when picking dishes, we wanted to mix and match and so chose two dishes each and a side of rice between us. The dishes were all of a good size and the rice was a tiny bowl for one! We had plenty to eat anyway and didn't need any more rice.Kimchi, pork and tofu (tofu kimchee jeyuk) was amazing and a huge portion so I took some home. Kalbi and bbq belly pork were tasty if a little tough, also they come out cooked on a skillet, you don't bbq them yourself. The chicken in lemon sauce (lemon dak) was delicious and the kimchee pancake was ok if a bit dry - I was expecting something akin to okonomiyaki so I guess maybe my expectations got away from me.Service was fine and the bill was reasonable at £60 for the three of us, and we ate a lot. I will be going back. Service charge is an unwelcome surprise, I usually tip anyway and don't like feeling compelled to do so by the establishment.

This place was the only one with empty seats on a Sunday lunchtime, We ordered a bibimbap, clear noodles with chicken and some kimchi and pickles. The rice in the bibimbap was burnt, and over cooked, the clear noodles, too salty and the kimchi was too sour. Tastewise, the food was missing seasoning, and the ingredients were not very generous, considering the price. A 10% service charge is added to the bill. I will not be coming back in a hurry.

Arrived around 7.30pm on a sweaty and hot summer night. When we enter we see two tables. One table is next to the open kitchen... the other is next along, so further away from the heat and noise. We get gruffly pointed towards the two tables by the waiter. When we seat ourselves at the table further away from the Hot kitchen, the waiter storms over and makes us take the seat that is closer. I try to ask him why and he just barks that we have to sit where he says and that the seat we wanted to sit at is only for 3 or more people, not couples!I then try to point out that both the tables are exactly the same. 4 seaters the two of them. But he wanders off.The kicker... 5 minutes later a Korean couple walk in and get seated at the table we had been so aggressively refused. The food was utterly average, much better Korean joints around. Have had much better experiences only two doors down from Woo Jung anyway.

If you are expecting a posh and stylish restaurant, better look for something else, BUT if you would like to have a taste of authentic, excellent Korean cuisine, go for it! We have been several times in-between the last 3 years and it was always fantastic. Most of the customers were obviously Asian people (always a good sign) and the smell welcomes you to Asia. Prices are in line with the quality they serve and it's definitely not expensive. Ask for a recommendation, it's worth!

Part of a row of Korean & Japanese restaurants, just around the corner from Tottenham C.R. Tube, this was a great little find. The first giveaway that this was a reliably authentic restaurant was the fact that all customers were Korean, the second, that the place was 80% full at 6pm on a Monday. We were not disappointed - the traditional Kim Chee dish was delicious (my first time of trying), followed by a saucy, spicy pork (on a - very - hot plate) with rice. The main event, a meat hot pot (medium) was more than enough for two people. The interior is a bit dated & unclean BUT I suppose this comes with the authentic experience & tbh, we weren't too bothered as the food was so good. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area - as well as the great food, it is probably a bit cheaper than your higher end restaurants around Oxford Street.

Really really wanted to like this place - unfortunately the ribs in soup I ordered was unbelievably tough. I literally couldn't tear a scrap off biting as hard I could; it was so completely overcooked and rubbery. The stock had a bold flavour while managing to be bland, and the silver chopsticks were so slippery they were useless for retrieving the noodles. The sticky rice on the side was a lovely texture. My bfs noodles were nothing special but a wiser choice at least. The 3 kinds of kimchi were as expected (the radish is my favourite) The omelette was good, very stodgy inside and oily crisp outside, worth trying. Unfortunately and as much as I cringe to share it, the food did not agree with me and I unleashed horrendous smells for the following few days - be warned!!In short, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, probably will not return and caution you to choose wisely, preferably when they have the cheaper lunch special bundle menu if you want value for money.

This is reasonably priced Korean food, and clientele mostly seems Korean and other Asian. We were first met by an extremely sullen unresponsive waiter who unsmilingly pointed to a table, plonked down a couple of menus never to bother us again. We nearly walked out. As someone who has been to Korea several times, this is not the standard of greeting/service anywhere in Korea. We eventually had order taken by someone else who was more pleasant but gave little useful advice and seemed to try and recommend things we didn't want. We requested the BBQ as I wanted my son to experience this. To my surprise when the meal came, we did not have a BBQ at the table, the meat was just served up ready cooked in dishes. This was despite other tables having the gas ring/hotpot etc. Maybe they think us foreigners (Brits) do not know anything about Korean food. The whole idea of asking for BBQ was to have a Korean BBQ. The price was reasonable, and the meal OK but was not as enjoyable as it might have been. I have been there once before a couple of years previously and it was better then. There was a 15% service charge added to the bill which is excessive and inappropriate for the standard of service we received. I will not be back..

Staying close to St Giles High St we decided to give Korean food a try for the first time. There are a number of restaurants on this street and we basically took pot luck and what a pot it was! We had to wait for a table and the food smelled delicious. The food was lovely, really crisp flavours and nicely cooked. A helpful waitress talked us through the menu. Very good value anyway, never mind for central London. Would definitely go back.

This was not our first visit but this place has improved especially offering a menu in English. We started with a seaweed soup and beef soup. Both very tasty. As a main we mixed the Korean BBQ which was made with ribs, steak, pork and chicken at the table, with Lemon chicken and Bibimbap, a Rice stew served with raw egg. The egg cooks when stirring in the sizzling pot. The only shame is, that they do not serve dessert. Overall I will come back as food was very, very nice and staff friendly.

Conveniently placed near Tottenham Court Station and round the corner from Centre Point, this Korean restaurant is no-frills, a bit cramped, but serves thoroughly enjoyable food at great prices for Central London. Seasoning of the spicy prawns had depth, not just heat and even I enjoyed the sweet and sour as it was not too sweet. The Korean BBQs cooked at the table looked really good and added a bit of fun. I was amazed at the amount of great looking shellfish in the fish one. At £18 it is great value between 2 or 3, would order that another time. Glad I didn't order the steak one as I only like rare steak and this is cut thin like ham, though plenty of it. Not having tried Korean food before, I can't compare it with other restaurants so have not gone overboard on the grading.

Visited on a weekday lunchtime. The restaurant is basic with a view of the kitchen. Service is not particularly welcoming but the food and price are both outstanding. We ordered from the set menu and both had bulgogi sets. I had the beef and my wife had the pork in spicy sauce. The dishes came with kimchi, miso soup, pancakes and rice. The food was delicious and with drinks and a 10% service the bill was about £20. Cannot recommend enough.

I have always walked pasa this place and though i want to try it out but never really got round it. On a sunday night we had a few beers in a pub and left it quite late so all the places around our area were already closing, so we though we will give this a go. I had salmon and seafood spicy soup noodles, mu partner had some beef. Food was lovely, also service was friendly and great. I think we paid around £40 for our mains + noodles + 2 bottles of beer. It is quite pricey for the actual amount of hard food that you get but im use to the west end prices so its ok. Not sure if I would go back so soon though, there was nothing extremely great about food. It was cooked great, its just the kitchen itself is quite bland.

We usually go to other Korean restaurant but thought of having a go at other place and chose this restaurant. We chose to have course meals and enjoyed their soup, pickles, salad and tempura. By the time Bulgogi came, we were already very full and it was an enormous portion. Unfortunately they are the very first Korean restaurant in the world where we were asked to order separately and pay extra for leaves to wrap meat and rice. Just for eight pieces of cheap lettuce, they charge £2.20. It was not acceptable when leaves are supposedly a part of Korean BBQ. Shame on them. Their BBQ was cooked on the table but with very low temperature, so the meat was stewed in its juice than grilled. Not very professionally done. So I would come here for rice dishes or noodle dishes for casual dining but not for BBQ.

Thisn place has recently been refurbished and is more welcoming and less asian than before. The only downside is that the staff hardly speaks any English. However, as the menu is written in English and not only in Korean, it is easy to handle. We ordered six main courses (for 4 people) and had a choice from chicken, seafood and beef, all been served in the traditional way and very tasteful. Negative was that the "odd" crab sticks have been used which is in my opinion no real food at all. Korean beer and good choice of wine is also on the menu. Overall this place can certainly be recommended.

It was wonderful, the staff were friendly- we speak Mandarin. We ordered a few of their signature dishes, which were the beef noodles, the seaweed salad, and the chow mein. The beef noodles were literally chef’s kiss, the texture and the density of the noodles was perfect- chewy, slim, and delicious. The beef was a bit on the chewier side, though, I wouldn’t recommend elderly people or babies eating this, to prevent choking. Next was the seaweed salad, it was so good! We eat this often at home back in China, so it was a burst of flavour, plus a flashback, flying me back to China. The Chow Mein was so delicious and flavourful, the noodles were a little different than the beef noodles- chewy, big, and wonderfully salty. They had a lot of veggies and onions though- so it had a huge effect on the taste. Overall, it was very nice and we would go there again.
