The best restaurants serving Asian food in West Midlands

Quick friendly service, we're visiting the area and fancied a take out Chinese. There was plenty of food and the crispy prawns the best we'd had. We had to wait as we'd arrived early but the staff were talkative and very polite- I wish we lived nearer.

Usually go across the road to Al Frash, thought we would try Shababs for a change and website menu was better value. Food not great and and the website menu prices are out of date. Back across the road next time.

Food was cold when arrived. Vegtables in curry were under cooked and overall dissapointed.

Khatlama was average and had better, don't know what the hype is about with the khatlama less meat and more pastry also very bland, lamb sheikh kebabs had a strong aftertaste to them so I'm not sure they were 100% lamb or fresh for that matter and they were a bit on the chewy side. Disappointed with my iftari meal😔

Terrible , service, phoned asking where delivery was after 2hrs went to answerphone everytime …. When the food finally arrived 2hrs 20mins later.,it was tough and not nice .. Ended up throwing most away. Won’t be going there again !!

The worst food ever 😫 actually gutted as I trusted the reviews but everything tasted like pure ghee.. we ordered pilau rice and it was just rice soaked in ghee... absolutely awful. the worst Indian takeaway ever.

Small place but very busy due to Ramadan iftaris, but we were served ok despite delays, the food was reasonable well cooked and tasted good.

We had a nikkah party arranged at shahi masala last week. Although food was fine but manager is so rude and won’t even coordinate with us. We were booked for 50 people and were a bit late he could have easily gave us at least some concession but no he charged us extra. Staff is really slow and guy who seems like manager was rude. I think it’s decent place to dine but very poor for events. Zero humanity zero sympathy from staff

lamb melted in the mouth, beautiful

We were the last customers on 15th March, it was really not a good experience. We had the following issues: Toilets were not clean so was unable to use it, told staff they did not clean it so we can use it. The spicy lamb chops was not hot, the sauce on top was heated up and then poured on top. The lamb Karahi was tasteless. The orange juice I think they used bad oranges, did not taste good. The only thing that was nice was the mango lassi. I will not ever be going back inshallah, not worth the price at all.

Normally go next door to Chung ying for over fifty years but was full today so Popped next door to china court was excellent will def come again many thanx sorry about pics eat it all

Food was average and a very long wait for a samosa chaat and dahi balley
