Worst experience visiting this place. The food need to be ordered downstairs. We ordered 2 samosa chat in starter. It was definitely the worst samosa chat I have ever tasted. The sweet sauce is usually made with dates(khajoor). Here it was made with God knows what. You can see the pink colour in my pictures. Then we ordered Sindhi biryani and lamb karahi. The biryani looked like leftover from previous day and no taste. The karahi was boned and tasteless I hardly had 3 bites and could not eat more. Most of the food was left as we could not finish it. Never visiting this place ever again. There was another group of 4 young lads and they too said the same thing to server that the biryani does not look/taste fresh. Felt like it was leftover from the day before. Edit: I said all the above to the person taking payment and he only charged us £20 instead of £34ish. But still its £20 for something that we cant enjoy at all.

There was a food in my hair, not much notice was taken of this issue. If I am paying to eat somewhere I expect good hygiene in the kitchen

The samosa was full of oil i think they drop the samosa when the oil is not hot .. Need to throw

Just hype, no taste, who's gonna tell them? This is not the taste of Pakistan, they don’t know how to cook.

Good for Desi Nashta / Breakfast. Better buy deals available

So far one of the best desi food place with reasonable prices and quantity in Birmingham. Feels like home. Though i would recommend to improve the atmosphere and service as there is so much more potential in the growth of Taste of Pakistan.

Food was old , I was very hungry but did not finish my food , hygiene here is not important to the owner, the samosas tasted like they were made a week ago and the chicken rice was like it was made 2 weeks ago, if it was fresh I'm sure would of been good but I definitely not going again, there's just freshies that go there and don't have a clue about what's what.

Nice authentic Pakistani taste for those looking for a Punjabi touch... The quality has recently gone down a bit in few areas but still one of the best choices for halwa puri breakfast and Punjabi samosas...

Underrated in my opinion, very high quality authentic tasting Pakistani food.

Visited Taste of Pakistan on Sunday as we were in thr city of Birmingham shopping. Thought of having Desi Breakfast as the place looked good for Desi Breakfast. Went to order 3 Desi Chai one without sugar, the staff said we don't make sugar free Desi Chai only English Chai is sugar free! Told him I am asking for sugar free Desi Chai and they are a breakfast place its not that i was asking him to serve me Truffles from Jamaica! They said we cannot make just for one person ! Even though I am not but told them sure there is more than 1 person on Ladpool Road who is a diabetic and would like sugar free Desi Chai. But no they were not going to make it. So we left and they lost a customer.

GAVE 3 PEOPLE FOOD POISONING AND GOT ORDER WRONG. We went in and each got a meat samosa. I asked the man at the counter if it was fresh and he said yeah. After I paid, he put the samosa in the microwave and handed it to me. I picked it up and it fell apart in my hands then I took a bite and it wasn't even a meat samosa, it was veg. This was the same for all 3 of us. We walked out and after about an hour all began to feel a bit sick. The next day I woke up with stomach cramps, feeling like I'm going to vomit and diarrhea. I asked my 2 other friends and they said they felt the exact same way. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Excellent desi sweets. We ate falooda and it was great. Some nice PAK truck art in and around the shop.

Months back falooda used to be on point. We would usually take home, place in fridge, it would be fine. This time it tasted a little off and the kulfi was filled with iced water. It tasted off, we could not eat. Phoned to complain that it’s not edible, and they took no ownership for it. Waste of money and will not be ordering from there again.

Definitely not taste of Pakistan. Few years before it was best haleem point but now waste of time and money. Please don't go for pakistani patterns. Shaami kebab became powder after 1 touch. Haleem was not able to eat, so tasteless. Chana saalan was also tasteless. They don't know how to cook. There chef is changed or something happened. Very disappointed. Service rubbish. You have to order and pay downstairs then go upstairs for eat tastless food. No staff available for order or extra naan need. Infect nobody for look after you. Too much noisy and over seated. Avoid.

Nice Desi breakfast. Good be better if staff would wear uniform to make it more customer service

We had Halwa Puri with Chanay here. The taste was geniune, I would highly recommend it. It was a bit cold inside. They should do something to make it cozy.

Ordered Nihari with Naan and samosa chaat. Food was served quickly. The chaat was good but I would've liked it more chilli. The nihari only had 3 pieces of meat in it and one of them was just bone so it would've been nice to have more meat and less bone. Other than that it was nice but again could've been more spicy. The Naan was nice and fully and soft. The prices were very good and more reasonable compared to other places. The decor was nice but probably a bit much going on and the chairs were fancy but a little uncomfortable to sit on. I would come back

Hello everyone it was my worst experience in my whole life I never been tried before that such a bad type of breakfast .The taste of food was too greasy it means they are using old or recycled oils. Apart from that I bought ice cream for my kid it was so bad in taste as well . Halwa puri and parathas were full of oils and greasy they were worst in taste. I personally not recommend for everyone to go there. Even in this price you could find another best option too. They served the tea it was bad in taste and colour it was seems like burn engine oil. Sweets apparently look old .

Had lovely desi food here! Good ambience Ordered lamb nihari and chicken korma with naan, taste was amazing. 5/5 Their chicken pulav was also nice. 4/5 Loved their mango lassi and falooda! 5/5 Halwa puri was 4/5 Must visit :))

The food is delicious with very economical prices. The atmosphere of truck style and the shayari written gives different look and makes a good impact. Felt like having food in pakistan. Really liked the idea. A must place to visit to try the food...

Food was great. We had the traditional Pakistani breakfast, but as it was during the week, not the weekend they did not do the Puri. So we had Rogri Nan instead. Katlama, chana, and Pakistani chai. 👍 👌

I just bought paya curry. The flavor was good, but I suddenly noticed that the curry is full of hairs. The paya wasn’t cleaned properly.

Staff is inexperienced and food was just average . Please don’t waste your money and time to go there …

Good Pakistani food and family environment

Great halwa puri breakfast and chai. Really good vegetable pakoras. Parking is hard to get on the street, very busy area, but there's a car park right in front, and one down the road.

A pure taste of Pakistan. My Favourite is flooda if weather is hot and Kulfi taste exactly like in pakistan. Breakfast is lovel, tried few items from menu and couldn't fault at all. Fuel up yourself before you start your day with their Breakfast.

Have tried everything from here from the breakfast to the sweet dishes to tea and I can definitely say they serve amazing food and top quality for sure

Not as good as it used to be. Recently tried the nihari was full of spice and the meat was very hard. Also tried the new cheesecake tbey had on menu, it was mouldy! Would not recommend now

Unfortunately this only thing I didn't lke is music what's the point to have music when you have already gr8 food. Taste of Pakistan u don't need music. Don't worry Allah will bring barakah in your business.

Meat was hard looked like it’s mutton not lamb, some naans were undercooked and some over cooked, halwa was nice, overall not satisfied.

We stopped to have some desi halwa puri with channa and ended up with a bad tummy. I would avoid i have never had the worse food poisoning in my life. My tummy was crying with sickness 😷

We have dinner last night at the restaurant and having the symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhea. Surely something wrong with the food.

Amazing little shop. Their falooda is one of the best and we specifically go here just for that.

The place has an amazing ambiance, the Pakistan cultural style. The beautiful truck art and the decor is just wow and humble. All of their food was very nice and fresh. Kulfi is just pure fantastic. Falooda is superb too. Tried their gulab jamun as well and it was lovely. They also have paan. This place is a must to visit when you are in Birmingham. It was recommended by a friend and our experience was great. I would definitely recommend this place. It will be my must to visit whenever I am in Birmingham

Nihari is a bit expensive. 12£ . The meat quality was not good.

Heard a lot about this place was very disappointed, to start with this place is not very baby friendly unable to tale pushchair upstairs, they provide high chair which does not have a working strap so baby can either fall out or move out, the upstairs is so squashed it's very difficult to move around. The naan we have thing it was called kulchan or something was absolutely delicious, the tea was average the channa was ok, the prata was hard and thin 0ur home made ones are much better, overall poor experience won't be going there again, oh they do take card and the halwa was ok too.

Amazing place for a good tasty Desi breakfast.

I have tried food from this shop few times. Some of them are tastier and some are average taste, bit spicy. Chicken Pastry = 5 stars Chana = 4 stars Puri, Halwa = 3 stars Kachori = 2 stars Katlama = 3 stars

The place looks lovely from outside, plenty of variety and selection to choose from, however, we had ordered a lot and picked up some extras while we were there. We did not enjoy the food we ordered, which was a lamb 1kg handi, seek kebabs, chapli kebabs. The kulcha naans and the chicken pakore were nice but nothing to rave about. I do wish they would taste what they are cooking, a bit of flavour would have been appreciated. For the price we paid, it was not worth it.

Pulao and Kulfi are amazing. The plus point is Panjeeri.

I always co.e here for the desi falooda. It's truly amazing. I'm not sure about the rest of the food. I guess you will have to come and check it out . Parking, available across the road, and it's free. I would definitely recommend popping down to try out the falooda at least.

Travelled all the way from London what a waste food was absolutely shocking paratha was so thick halwa tasted disgusting lasi was just pure yoghurt Im absolutely shocked and will never go bk there emty shop no wonder plz don't waste your money or time plenty other shops which taste alot better. Never will i go bk there.

Great customer service and food

I had falooda here the other day but the rubry milk in it was too much sweet. Apart from that atmosphere was good they built it and wrote the poetry like pakistani style awesome.

Very authentic pakistani sweet and snack shop with food items like biryani, etc, as a bonus. Feels like you're inside some Ahmed sweets type shop in pakistan. Crazy variety of mithais.

They have nice desi Pakistani style food. I love interior decoration of restaurant.

The turck art is beautiful. Very British Pakistani vibes. Qeema was great. I loved all their rotis. Don’t miss this gem because of bad reviews, try for yourselves first. The table chair layout is a bit tight however + the toilet could be alot nicer.

We ordered nashta meal. That contains channa, halwa, puri and tea. The food was of terrible quality. No seasoning in channa and halwa. The chai was awful too. The puri was good but overall a waste of money. Very bland food. Would not go there again sadly.

I had desi breakfast over the weekend chana and puri too oily chana no taste no sauce just raw chickpeas from pot puri too oily my hands cover in it tea was okay shame I was looking forward my traditional desi breakfast had food in past no problem samosa sweet etc another over hype up ladypool road busy not that good sorry to say its was just to awful to eat desi dessert traditional sweet were nice but still can be hit and miss latest update chana was very bland no spices paratha was okay used very good Pakistan restaurant standards have drop big time my latest visit boy big mistake again very poor standard chana tasted like came out curry chicken peas tin no flavour to it tea no taste to it drink boiled water definitely not desi chai brother been game 2012 used to be good breakfast not anymore time to find another Pakistani desi breakfast places eating area need to be clean table was dirty big time let down need good breakfast to get me going on busy day no offence what waste of time

Unfortunately very disappointed after years of coming here from afar. Have been robbed in broad daylight. Menu online says a different price and the price charged is different. I mentioned last time falooda had too much noodle in it instead of rectifying that mistake they overcharged me . Tried to sort this with manager who was argumentative. What a shame

This was an amazing experience, their paratah are crispy and crunchy and the deep fried egg was just right for me, lassi and halwa had good taste

Worst food I ever had. I had food poisoning. Not recommended

Even one star is more than the quality of food served. I went there with 3 friends, had naan paratha and channy. All of us are having severe gastritis now with bad abdominal pain nausea and vomiting. Not recommended at all.

Very Bad taste of Chana,that completely disgusting taste Puri was ok And I paid £9 for Paya but wasn’t couplet full Paya I’ll never come back in this place again

I took a chance on this place despite the low Google review rating. I'm glad I did. Desi breakfast was served up quickly, with great taste and service.
