The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

The food is really wonderful, both dining in at the restaurant or take away. It can be noisy on a Saturday night, so if you're after a romantic evening and enjoy talking to each other whilst dining, go elsewhere. We could hardly hear ourselves speak, and had to keep repeating ourselves so it wasn't ideal, especially as it was only our third date getting to know each other. The food was so enjoyable and the service impeccable so we would certainly return on a Saturday night for dinner, whether just the two of us or with friends. We have had a few take-aways though which doesn't disappoint.

There was a baby roach alive in the menu I told my bf to come get me now he made me shake my coat and bag before getting in the car. The waitress forgot all about me but that roach was keeping me company.

Another excellent meal at The Elaichi. The lamb and the prawn starters were excellent, as were the chicken shashlik and naga lamb. Side dishes of Tarka dahl and aubergine were great too.

I was visiting Brighton with some close friends and my partner this past weekend, and was told to check out Bruha in Brighton so I knew I had to book it because where there is food from the homeland - I will go! What I didn't expect was how I felt during and after the meal. The minute you walk into Bruha; you get a sense of pride straight away and there were details that I picked up on that made me really think of Philippines. Then the food arrived...and I pretty much spent the entire meal listening to my fiance and my friends (all non-filipino) making sounds and singing praise for the food that Jay had prepared. Everything was perfect, not one dish faltered - (I had the chicken adobo and I was just in love from the first bite!). One of my favourite parts of the night was when my fiance ordered the Ube Leche Flan - I was too full and our friends had decided on drinks rather than dessert. But once the plate came out; a dessert for one became a dessert for three as our friends couldn't get over how delicious it was! The service was amazing from beginning to end, Tania (I think that was her name?) was very hospitable and Jay was really lovely to talk to. Having read about his story before we visited, I could see the pride that he takes in his business and the heart that he puts into his dishes. When we left the restaurant, I had a huge sense of Filipino pride in my heart and in my belly. We were still talking about the food the next day, and taking three non-filipino's to the restaurant who couldn't stop raving about the experience was amazing. This trip to Bruha really made me proud to be Half Filipino and I hope it continues to go from strength to strength. Salamat Po Jay! 🇵🇭

Good service but the food was not amazing and it was deadly quiet. Very little meat in the curry and a few mushy king prawns in one of the dishes.

Being recommended by friends when visiting. Small oriental restaurant but nice atmosphere. Delicious food and lovely waitress, especially the Singapore noodle, my favourite!!!

Just had our first takeaway from Namaste, absolutely delicious. Delivered on time and hot. We shall be returning again soon.

Food wasnt ready when we collected and was cold

I don't normally eat Indian food but thought wed give this a try and it was very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely order again!!! Not to mention it was delivered early which is rather unusual, and easy hot - as in temp wise

I always love going to this place - delicious momo and curries. But it is temporarily closed at the moment! I hope it hasn’t gone out of business. Could the owner of the restaurant comment on this review?
