Banana Tree Reigate in Reigate and Banstead

I had an incredible dining experience at Banana tree !. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my meal was perfect. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the best service and great food. Can't wait to go back!

Had to wait, after our starters, for over half an hour for the mains, while watching dozens of Deliveroo orders fly through the door. When the mains finally arrived it was not hot and the portions were extremely small. Will not be going there again.

jess was absolutely lovely making conversation and making us all feel really welcome, she went above and beyond with all our requests and thoroughly explaining what my boyfriend couldn’t have with his allergy. she made it a great atmosphere.

Such a lovely meal out - would really recommend! Really good cocktails and food, would recommend either of the lychee cocktails and the bang bang broccoli. Jack was our server and was very attentive, really lovely and friendly.

6/10 okay-ish.!defo avoid the gyoza that was nasty. Food otherwise was okay nothing special. Long wait for drinks and food. Would probably not go back

We had a delivery so I can’t comment on the service but the food was AWFUL. Avoid. The Chicken Massaman literally had 3 lumps of chicken and no potatoes/nuts etc and part of our order was missing.

Decent food, took a while, but when the bill came it was completely off what we expected, so we spoke to the stubborn waitress who said that we had misunderstood the incredibly unclear menu, and refused to change the bill to what we had expected. After that, we asked for the optional service charge to be removed from the bill, which they agreed to, yet our bank accounts told us that it hadnt been removed, and we had been lied to, paying over £10 more than we had initially expected. Don't go here, they will scam you.

We had such a wonderful time - we were a big group with several young children and were made to feel really welcome. Food was great with good options for the kids too, and kids eat free on Sundays with a paying adult! Amazing!

Don't often do Reigate, but seeing as the Christmas market was on, thought we'd take a visit. For Lunch we hit The Banana Tree, I think the TripAdvisor reviews are very misleading for this great place to eat as they are more about the chain rather than individual branch. At the Reigate branch we had outstanding service from our waiter Jack, the food was lovely and going off our visit wouldn't think twice about visiting again or advising others to visit. I believe the Mango Rice Pudding deserves a special mention, as it was simply gorgeous! Only problem being, that I wasn't severed the whole pan of this delicious dessert 😂

Fantastic evening at the Bottomless Brunch. Staff were so welcoming and happy to serve whenever we needed. Food absolutely amazing.. I had sweet and sour chicken. Would recommend this place and are definitely going back soon

My first visit as a solo diner. Food was superb. Cooked to ordered and tasted really fresh. Visited the one in Reigate and staff very friendly and welcoming. My starter was Thai squid which was cooked to perfection as was the chargrilled duck. Compliments to the chef here. Good selection on cocktails and 2 for 1 offer.

Only thing worse than the server’s was the food and service time. Not to mention the price. If you can’t at least provide a welcome environment to service food, should not be open.

I got horrific food poisoning from the nasi goreng (prawn fried rice). It tasted bad at the time and I started to feel unwell soon afterwards. £90 down the drain (literally 🤮🥲) and management haven't even responded to my complaint. I'm just so lucky that I didn't give any to my 10 month old daughter as making her that unwell would have been horrendous. I love Asian food and it's completely put me off. Avoid at all costs! (The sweetcorn fritters were nice though)
