Himalaya Tandoori in Milton Keynes

Had an amazing dinner at Himalaya Tandoori last night! The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was packed with authentic flavors. We tried Chilli Chicken, Veg Noodles, Shashlik Paneer, Karahi Paneer, and Garlic Naan, and everything was cooked to perfection. To top it off, the Gajar Ka Halwa and Gulab Jamun were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. A huge thanks to Ram and Sharavan for their excellent service—they were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-quality Indian food. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great Place for Indo Chinese Cuisine

Went with the family for dinner again! The food was yummy.Kathmandu lamb was delicious. So was their paneer masala. Will go back!

I normally don't write reviews or give negative comments but there are certain points which I felt obliged to make, and I also feel it is quite important for this restaurant to be aware of so that it thrives to improve their customer service. I came to this restaurant back in 2014 when their food quality was exceptional and customer service equally excellent. I came yesterday night with my wife and new born with similar expectations. . The food was okay, so I won't complain on that end , however we arrived at the restaurant at 7 pm as per our reservation. We ordered two cokes and a starter. The cokes arrived with no fizz and seemed to be poured out of a large serving bottle , we politely asked the waiter to replace the drinks, he came after few minutes , simply adding lemon to our drinks , mentioning they were poured out of a fresh bottle, but it was quite clear there was no fizz in the coke. I did not want to make a big fuss as the problem was also long waiting time, meaning every single order was taking a lot of time arriving at our table. Secondly we ordered quite a bit of food for two, and included in that was a peshwari nan. As per our knowledge it does not have coconut or is not sweet, but it turned out to be a sweet snack. We politely asked if we could get it replaced with a normal naan as we were having savoury items in our meal such as curry etc. The waiter told us he would be charging us and is unable to offer free replacement. Now the thing is we visit several restaurants and a £3 item as per a potential expense of £60 is not a big issue. My family did not complain, but deep down it was quite embarrassing for me , that a simple item could not be replaced at restaurant's discretion. The food was ok, it could be improved by perhaps increasing portion size of 10 to 20% more, and carefully researching the spices etc for specific menu items. One rule of thumb behind a successful restaurant is keeping menu nice and simple and not having lots of variety as that is where alot of restaurants fail to deliver, and this restaurant is headed in that direction. We left the restaurant at 9 pm, so 2 hours as opposed to a one hour service ,simply not good enough. Please do take this feedback onboard if you genuinely care for your customers, as I walked out of this restaurant quite dissapointed.

This is by far the BEST CURRY in MK. I have tried nearly all of them & have not come across any that taste marginally close to this place. Yes it gets busy sometimes and this service can slow down because of this but that is expected for a full restaurant. The Chilli Mushrooms are EPIC!!!!

My regular place to go to. Never once they have failed in cooking me scrumptious & Great quality food. The head chef, the FOH staff, they are all ever so friendly. Service with a smile - They work by this philosophy.

Food is superb, arrives in given time and the service is second to none. A very enjoyable time was had by all six of us. Definitely recommend this restaurant for all vegetarians and they have plenty of non vegetarian dishes and glad to say no beef etc.

Most authentic Indo-Chinese food in the UK. Tastes , food quality and portion were perfect . We order Veg momos, Veg Chowmein veg manchurian and Veg friend rice and everything was as expected.

Group of six went last Friday after a recommendation from someone and reading other reviews as this is not our regular curry house we thought would try it. Unfortunately four members of the group were very sick with diarrhoea and vomiting the following day. Will not be going again!! Having spent over £200 not what we expected!! Have reported it to MK Health & Safety.

Great choice of Indian, Nepalese and indo-chinese food. My family and I have tried our fair share of Indian restaurants in Milton Keynes but this is the one we always end up coming back to, the starters in particular are fantastic.

Been 3 or 4 times recently, always a warm welcome, consistently good food, attentive staff, good beer, there's literally nothing bad i can say, everything is spot on, good value, great food choices, it's the best curry i've had in a while, will be going back for more soon, thanks for a great few meals.

Ordered a takeaway was really disappointed with the standard soup smelt like glue and food was below par usually used to enjoy the food here but it seems chef has and the quality has dropped will not be ordering from here again.

If you are looking for authentic north indian or indo chinese food then this is the place. Quality is never compromised as the chef is the owner. I liked mix grill, Butter chicken, paneer butter masala, malai tikka, Patialia chicken, all manchurian dishes, fried rice, noodles and their starters.

Food took too long to deliver. It was cold by the time it got to us but the taste was good once reheated although not ideal. I think because they do multiple drops it takes too long and as it’s not stored in a thermal box it’s lukewarm or cold by the time it arrives. I may have to reconsider where I order from in the future.

Arrogant staff, below average food.. they asked to deliberately order more as they wanted a bill of 32£ per head.. the dishes aren't great for one to order more without wanting to eat. Will never visit again.

We come here regularly and it’s always a 5/5. Service is incredible and the staff always make us feel welcome. Vegan options are good and staff are knowledgeable. A mocktail was provided for a birthday in our party which was so lovely as they often do ice cream but we are vegan :)

The best matka Kulfi we ever tasted! We have also ordered Gobi munchrian, Matar Panneer, and Garlic Naan. All of these were tasty and authentic. The only issue we had was the wait time. The order was taken 20 mins after we were seated and the food arrived after another 30 mins. Looked like they are understaffed currently. But the wait was worth it.

Visited couple of times..a very good restaurant in the heart of Mikton Keynes. Very tasty foods if you like Asian Indian Nepalese food. Good options for veg and non vegetarians.

was recommended but poor, nan bread cold and didn't feel fresh. forgot the rice I ordered so had to try eat my madras with the bad plain nan. chutney tray with poppadoms not good, and the poppadoms look part cooked. was looking forward to a lovely curry, I won't be going here again.

I've always looked for food close to the pure authenticity that himalayan tandoori is. Possibly the best in milton keynes.

Great little Indian restaurant. The food is served very hot and fresh. The atmosphere is just perfect with the music not being too loud. We went during the Christmas period and they played Christmas music. Staff and owners very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my meal immensely highly recommended.

We had a takeaway very wide selection on the menu we had karai and Rogan was hotter than we expected a classic Johnny Cash song springs to mind the following morning. Would recommend🔥

First time trying Napelnese food, quite fond of the curry powder fried rice, rich texture n mixed of various herbs, nice fragrance!

We had a dinner and a big sharing platter. The onion bhaji were quite dry, but it's usually the case in most places, but the rest of the food was really good, the chefs did a really good job and deserve a compliment. We went there in November and got a table by the door, which was one main downside. It was absolutely freezing, and everytime someone walked in, we were greeted by a freezing cold wind. They even offered to go containers for leftover food, which was very nice. Affordable prices too. It does look like a dentists office once you are coming in, I think it is missing some "restaurant" vibes.

We always go to HT for eating their delicious food. This time we sat between their bar and kitchen. So we could see whats going on in the bar from side. When we were on our desert, the barman cleaned his nose in the sink of the bar. Which was quiet disgusting. I would absolutely avoid it from now on. @owners please give proper training on hygiene to your staff.

Beautifully cooked to order authentic Indian food ! Large portions ( we shared a rice, but had our own main courses) lovely atmosphere and very nice , polite and welcoming staff ! Can't ask for much more than that !

Had a great experience here. The food was excellent, some of the most excellent Indian I’ve had. The mixed grill starter was so good we ordered more. And the curries for the mains were so flavoursome. Would definitely return. The staff were very friendly and accommodating too.

I recently visited Himalaya Tandoori for the first time and I was very impressed with the food. I ordered the Chicken Hot & Sour Soup and the Indo-Chinese Schezuan Noodles, and both dishes were delicious. The soup was flavourful and had a good balance of sour and spicy, while the noodles were perfectly cooked and had a nice kick of heat. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Indo-Chinese food in Bletchley.

We decided to try the Himilaya as had seen some good reviews. We ate at about 8pm and had 3 starters between us (2 would have been enough as huge portions). The tandoori C & chicken tikka were v good, the sheikh kebab was average however. Our mains of himilaya lamb , chicken jalfrezi & chicken madras were all v good & the nan breads were excellent. No draft kingfisher so had bottled beers. Overall v good 4/5. It is on the expensive side however with friendly service & good food they deserve success

Himalaya Tandoori is definitely among the top restaurants in the fine dining space in MK. Vibrant, lively place - most weekday evenings find it full - yes, even on a Tuesday. The fun atmosphere is enhanced by the friendly staff (Ram, Sharad, Lama, Raju & the Chefs) and the tasty food adds to the overall ambience and vibes of the place. Family occasions or big gatherings, kids or adults, veg or non-veg options - we have enjoyed visits of all kinds. Amd every dish has its own unique taste - kudos to the Chef and the entire kitchen team - the sizzlers are definitely worth a try. Plenty of free parking and conveniently located on the Bletchley High Street. Definitely worth a visit - absolutely worth 5 stars - highly recommended.

Had dinner in Himalaya for the first time. Food was good,authentic indian taste. But we found one person very arrogant. While ordering food, when we ordered starters, they told us to order main course also. They served the whole order in one go which is very weird. Main course got cold by the time we finished starters.

1 word. Amazing. The service was amazing and the food was out of this world. Would give 6 stars if I could.
