Bangin' slap up grub. Proper filled a gap. Highly recommend stuffin' ya chops at this joint. Celebrated my friends 40th and got a free bottle of bubbly which was lovely jubbly.

Can only comment on the service and atmosphere as never got to the food. Waited 5 mins to be seated with no acknowledgement from any of the staff that were milling around before asking the barman if someone was seating people, who told me they were very busy. A few minutes later the manager came over to seat me, then asked me to wait while he prepared drinks for someone. Given I had now stood there for ten minutes and had noted that none of the eight tables of guest had any food served yet, i told them I would try elsewhere and didn’t even get an apology.

Another fantastic meal here at MK Banana Tree. Great service, great food.

The food is nothing to rave about, small portion sizes, hefty prices (as is the norm everywhere now) and the flavour was very....... meh. The salmon lacked flavour, the drizzle of lemon helped somewhat but not worth the almost 20 quid, the banana fudge cake was basically a banana oat crepe cake? with ganache on top, it was very tough definitely not a fudgey cake, like I expected. The server was nice, he noticed my napkin fell off and brought me another without me even realising and the place looks and feels cosy but I won't be going back in a hurry.

Good food, nice place not too cramped and good seating areas. Service was good as well we didn't have wait long to get our food.

The security guard directed us to join the queue when we arrived at the restaurant. After waiting for 20–25 minutes, the manager informed us that we couldn’t be seated as we didn’t have a booking. Strangely, the restaurant was half empty, yet they refused to give us a table. When we checked online, we found an available table (there were plenty available), booked it, and showed it to the manager. Although he apologized for the inconvenience, he denied having refused us earlier. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. The restaurant needs to fix its booking process. If tables are visibly empty, customers shouldn’t be turned away because of system errors. We ended up leaving without dining and wouldn’t recommend this place at all

I’ve been coming to Banana Tree for a while now one of my favourite places to eat and drink. Customer service is always great staff are friendly and always accommodating my allergies. We’ve had Ramon serve us a couple of times she’s always got a smile on her face, very friendly and always happy to help 😊

I am regular customer of Banana tree. I highly recommend Thai Green curry. Waitress Ramona was excellent with the service. She served the food within no time after ordering the food.

Oh dear. Lovely man settled us in. Thereafter it was downhill. Food did not taste fresh! Waited for ages to order dessert - we gave up and didn’t order. The nice man from the outset did give us a discount for the abysmal service. I would not visit this establishment again.

Food is good, not breathtaking, but good, correct. Prices are on the higher end for what you get, in my opinion. Varied menu, which I think can be a handicap.

I had a disappointing experience at Banana Tree in Milton Keynes. Their website clearly advertises a 30% student discount, but when I asked for it, the staff outright rejected it without even trying to verify. When I insisted they check with the manager, the server didn’t even bother to ask and just pretended to dismiss the matter. What’s worse is that I’ve had no trouble getting the student discount at their Windsor branch, so this seems to be an issue specific to Milton Keynes. It’s frustrating to see a lack of consistency and such poor customer service. If you claim to offer something, you should honor it. I even have a screenshot from their website that proves the discount policy. I won’t be returning to this branch unless they address these issues and train their staff better. Very disappointing!

The food is really flavourful and the portion sizes are good. Atmosphere is nice. The waiters were really nice but it did take a while for us to be seated even tho it wasn’t that busy. The drinks are also a bit overpriced.

We came to Banana Tree on January 1st during lunchtime, and it was packed. Unbelievably, Keya was the only one managing the floor! Despite the holiday rush, she gave us personalised attention and made sure we had a wonderful time. Her professionalism and warmth are unmatched. Highly recommend dining here!
