Banana Tree- Milton Keynes in Milton Keynes

I had a disappointing experience at Banana Tree in Milton Keynes. Their website clearly advertises a 30% student discount, but when I asked for it, the staff outright rejected it without even trying to verify. When I insisted they check with the manager, the server didn’t even bother to ask and just pretended to dismiss the matter. What’s worse is that I’ve had no trouble getting the student discount at their Windsor branch, so this seems to be an issue specific to Milton Keynes. It’s frustrating to see a lack of consistency and such poor customer service. If you claim to offer something, you should honor it. I even have a screenshot from their website that proves the discount policy. I won’t be returning to this branch unless they address these issues and train their staff better. Very disappointing!

The food is really flavourful and the portion sizes are good. Atmosphere is nice. The waiters were really nice but it did take a while for us to be seated even tho it wasn’t that busy. The drinks are also a bit overpriced.

We came to Banana Tree on January 1st during lunchtime, and it was packed. Unbelievably, Keya was the only one managing the floor! Despite the holiday rush, she gave us personalised attention and made sure we had a wonderful time. Her professionalism and warmth are unmatched. Highly recommend dining here!

Good says everyone, I Went to banana tree today, I have bamboo salad grilled chicken , taste fantastic. If you are on diet ,Vegan, vegetarian, I will recommend you to eat this dish. I had lunch here today and ate Pad Thai, Chicken green curry rice and Spring rolls. They are very delicious. The environment is great and the service is excellent, especially Ramona who is very nice and friendly.

Thanks to Ramona we had a lovely afternoon with bottomless brunch, she was very accommadating, made us feel welcome and comfortable, food was lovely and service was extraordinary, 10/10 would reccomend

This seems like a really popular place to eat in Milton Keynes with a good range of food too, especially for vegetarians. We had some issues last night though which stops this from being a 5*. Service was generally very slow, we had two desserts that took 30-40 minutes to arrive. Also my spring rolls were missed and when I raised this they were then added incorrectly twice to the order. So overall good food, but some attention to detail needed on the service.

I came to the restaurant by myself on a Tuesday evening. I booked in advance and the restaurant was busy when I arrived. They took me straight to my table. The menu is amazing, and there are a lot of vegan and gluten free options. The staff is super friendly and the service was great. The place is cozy and nicely decorated. There is a bit of music in the background but it is not loud and you can easily have a conversation. I will definitely come back 🙂

A good atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food with a variety of options to cater for differing palates.ie. meat eaters, vegetarian and vegan. Unfortunately, my friend's noodle dish were not cooked fully but they acknowledged this and were happy to reimburse us for the dish, taking this off the bill. However, I would definitely go return.

Four of us came here for the bottomless brunch, I've never had so many drinks in such a short time! The staff made sure our table was never empty, we had a conveyor belt of drinks and 90% of the time they brought us the next round without even asking. Absolutely blown away by the hospitality, the manager was excellent. Thank you Banana Tree for a wonderful experience.

Shocking service - didn’t get attended to until we finally managed to wave someone down 20 minutes after being seated. Paid online because our meals weren’t taken away another half hour after finishing - but turns out if you do that then the ‘kids eat for free on Sunday’ doesn’t apply if you do it that way. Rubbish experience.

Stopped in Milton Keynes for a few nights on business, me and my colleague came here for a bite to eat. The menu looking interesting and the place seemed popular and best, had to wait for only a sort time as we had walked in, but worth it. Food was great, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would recommend anyone to try it out.
