Just went there with family and friends. Nice food with plenty of choices, excellent service and good atmosphere. Will definitely come back again.

This was a great experience to add to our life list. The staff were great, location was really nice, clean and tidy restaurant. The only let-down was the quality of the meat. I guess thats what you get in the UK these days though so not entirely annoyed, we just know for next time to go to Korea for authenticity.

Really impressed and we often go to Korean restaurants in New Malden. Here it felt casual however clean and comfortable with attentive customer service. Recommend the the Dakgangjung for fried chicken cravings, will come here again. Biggest tender short ribs in the beef rib soup, felt clean without MSG. Thanks for the great meal 감사합니다

Really nice kbbq. The service was really nice and it's SO HANDY having a bell to call for them so you don't have to do awkward hand waving. We ordered way too much food, so we did end up spending a lot, but it was soooo good. I took half of it home and had it next day (which they let you do for normal food but obviously not if you order the buffet)! We ordered the taster set for 2 and we probably only needed to order that and rice and we'd have been sorted!

It’s our first time here and we had a great experience. Not too extravagant and not too bad but above average. The food is great as we took the unlimited bbq around £30 each. The food is served fresh, they are all great. I just really wish we can select from the initial meat to lessen the waste since we prefer beef and no other meat. Because on the initial serving, they will serve all types of meat. Lin and team are very happy to answer all our queries and able to give us excellent service. Great job! We will definitely be back again.

I had a bad experience and order today, i was contacted and offered a replacement order of items which i could choose and was offered much more than i originally ordered also!. I love atto food and the fact they called me up after finding out i had waited 2 hours for my order and the food coming stone cold was very kind of them. After the bad experience i wasn’t going to order again but after them actually taking the time to contact me and sort the issue i most definitely will order with them again as they clearly care. They explained they where extremely busy before which i understand and apologised and tried to make it right which most restaurants do not do. Can’t complain at all! A mistake was made and they did everything to fix it! The food came really hot and tasted amazing as all atto food does! They gave me triple what i asked for and was enough to feed a army! My children sat and enjoyed it all with me, thank you!x I also apologise for the phonecalls not answered beforehand i was sorting my little ones, and the first time i picked up i didnt hear anyone the other end (think the signal dropped) so i recalled I apologise I wasn’t being rude x

I had lunch on Monday. I tried the corn dog with fries offer. Really tasty and great price. I could see people having the bbq and I will def try that next time. All members of stuff were nice but specially Lynn was super friendly and willing to answer any questions from the menu and to anticipate my needs (as in ketchup for my fries haha. Lovely place. I am really impressed because, to be honest, I did not expect such nice service and customer-oriented approach. The menu is well composed, tasty dishes, efficiently prepared and quite large portions. If someone is there for the first time, while waiting for the order, they can watch short films about Korean cuisine on two large screens. I rate the entire place 11/10 and I will definitely taste Korean cuisine again. I’d call Atoo a small hidden gem in Guildford. I’ve been here twice now but suspect won’t be the last time. The latest visit was to try their bbq option. I was not disappointed. Went for the 1st option on the set menu. Good size portion with a good range of different meats. The sauces, which as I found out are replenished upon request, are a great addition to the offering. Also went for the squid as a starter and it did not disappoint. Service was good, attentive and caring. All in all, a really pleasant evening and left happy.

I went here to celebrate my birthday, and I opted for the lunch buffet recommended by one of my dear friends, Lynn, who also happens to work here. The buffet has a variation of Korean side dishes and selection of meats. The flavors were on point as well. I highly recommended to go during lunch hours as it is especially worth of value.

I went to Atto for my birthday A few days ago and it was a lovely experience. We were seated and served by this lovely lady her name is Soo. She had a really positive attitude I was very kind to me and my friends through the entire night which made the experience even more enjoyable. Food was top tier. My friends and I got the unlimited package and let me tell you those portion sizes were fitting of the name. I recommend anyone who goes here shouldn’t eat before going because you’re gonna leave stuffed.

This place was absolutely amazing! I was so happy to find a KBBQ place nearby and the quality and range of dishes was excellent. Will 100% be returning as soon as I can!

Atto is a lovely Korean restaurant; it’s clean and has a nice environment and atmosphere. My son’s favourite is the barbeque. It’s fresh, you take your time to cook your own barbeque in a pan, so the food is always hot and tasty. It comes with different sauces and vegetables that you can wrap up your BBQ and rice in a piece of lettuce that taste fabulous. It’s a unique experience and very enjoyable. The staff are polite, friendly and provide high quality service. I love the food there, so I can highly recommend it to anyone.

We had unlimited Korean BBQ. I have to say I was disappointed. Korean BBQ is not supposed to be cooked on baking paper. I get that it is convenient for cleaning but the meat is boiled instead of bbqed as result. The fact that you have to pay for salad separately is a bit of disgrace. Korean BBQ is always served with salad for Ssam. The quality of the £6.90 salad you get is another letdown. Instead of serving Chinese soup, Kimchi should be served with pride which is the national dish after all. The unlimited BBQ is timed (90min) and the service was slow, a bit too noticeably. I am very familiar with Korean culture and food having lived there for many years. I feel that the essence of Korean food is misrepresented somewhat which is a shame.

I am very disappointed about today visit. 😞 I've been to Atto restaurant a few times with family and friends, and everyone loved it. The Korean bbq is great fun, and the meat is great. Today, we went for the unlimited bbq for £29.99pp, BIG MISTAKE... Is a set menu that includes lots of starters, like Sup, noodles, dumping, sweet chilli chicken, and rice. When you finish with that, you already eat double on your normal lunch. Then the meat arrives for the bbq. Some of the meat was dark, meaning that wasn't fresh. When you give feesh meat to customers I'm expecting red meat. My wife also ordered a portion of fried calamari, and they arrived well overcook, like burned, we could not finish them 😑. If you add two coke and a bottle of water, the bill came to £87.00 including 10% service. I'm not sure if the chef or management changed or we just got there on a bad day; definitely for us... I'm sure everyone deserves a second chance, especially as we never had any issue before, but we will stay far away from the unlimited bbq.

I had a delightful experience at Atto. Their best vegetarian starter, the vegetable mandoo, was absolutely delicious. The staff were not only amazing but also incredibly friendly. I must give a special shoutout to Alicia, who was not only polite but also exceptionally helpful throughout our meal. The meat served at the all-you-can-eat BBQ was not what I had hoped for. It was stringy, fatty, and for £7, I received a wilted, old salad. I had expected to leave feeling stuffed to the gills, but after a trip to the bathroom, the lingering smell from previous occupants made me feel ill. When I was asked about my meal, the staff were very pleasant and apologetic upon seeing my distraught expression as I told them it was really awful. Perhaps their other dishes are okay, but I would definitely recommend skipping the Korean BBQ. It was a real letdown, especially since the last one I had at another establishment was amazing.

Ruined my wifes birthday. Someone watches you on cctv to make sure you are not sharing your food. All you can eat means just one portion...... Rules of all you can eat not made clear before ordering. Am a regular getting my favourites and working through unknown items visit by visit. So far, for bbq; meat to get is the La Galbi (marinated short ribs), and marinated pork one. One day, I’ll try the wagyu… Korean fried chicken on the bone with sweet soya. If you are looking for soup: the seafood tofu soup is delicious. Am yet to try the kimchi one. The all you can eat bbq is pretty good if you want to try a lot although the ribs in the meat selection- can pass on these. Always quite chewy. Request to restaurant : can you start stocking Jinro is back soju please? The staff are amazing. Milton and Patrick are so far who we know and give a great service always (even when they think they don’t).

Was in Guildford and was walking by and decided to have a meal with my husband here. Food was fine and seemed like quite a few Koreans in the place , which is a good sign :)

Was a little disappointed with this place foodwise unfortunately. We had a kimchi jeon which was quite floppy, fell apart and tasted of nothing with no hint of spice, it seemed to be mostly pancake mix and not much of the kimchi itself. It wasn't cut up when brought to the table which was a little unusual. I've been to a lot of Korean places and I think this is the first I've had where it's not cut up, especially a pancake of this size. For £12.60 I expected better a lot better, we ended up leaving most of it because it just didn't taste of anything. The chicken was fried well, nice and crispy but the sauces were a bit bland and the rice bowls we ordered to go with it were lukewarm at best, fairly sure they were just the CJ microwave rice bowls put into a metal dish to serve 🤔 Everything felt very expensive for what it was, even some London restaurants don't charge this much for the same items. Plus side, staff were nice and attentive, the teas were delicious, the decor was nice and music was good (mainly girl group kpop artists) but the food itself was really disappointing and very expensive compared to other places we've been to :( we had a tea each, a rice bowl, a chicken dish each plus mandu and the kimchi pancake to share and it was £31 each. (Forgot to take photos until we were going to leave so only have the one this time!)

Ate here for the first time and enjoyed the experience. Went for the Premium beef set but would probably have another set next time. The Brisket was every bit as tasty as the Wagyu. I would return as the Fried chicken looked amazing! Majority of clientele were Korean which is always a good sign.

Delicious Korean lunch - we popped in for some lunch on the bank holiday weekend. Had some really good Tteok-bokki, gimari, and beef bulgogi sushi roll - all very fresh and absolutely delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive and food came out quickly.

My new favourite restaurant in the world. Seriously. The only reason I can fathom to travel an hour to Guildford. Amazing food cooked right at your table.

Second time eating here, really good fun when you are in a group and are grilling the food at the table. Food is good and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Despite living in Guildford, we frequent Korean restaurants in New Malden fairly regularly, with its large cluster of Korean food joints. Our meal today at Atto was fairly middling in terms of taste. We had the spicy squid, japchae, and sundubu chige, which tasted alright, but we are unsure about its authenticity. In relative terms, prices are dear for the main meal portions and their quality. In the end, we will probably stick to going to New Malden to satisfy our craving for Korean fare (despite the distance) as it's more authentic with better value for money.

Excellent surprise, tucked away in an alley in Guildford. Gimchi rice was excellent! Other dishes such as fried chicken and spicy pork were also good.

Food was ok, suprised with the food bill. On the food bill, theres the food & hot drink price, plus service charge and 20% VAT. From all my dine in experience before and knowledge, VAT is only applicable to alcohol & softdrinks, not on fresh prepared food. Also there is no VAT reg no on your receipt. Either you are overcharging customer when you shouldn't or you billing system needs approving and get some proper advise on VAT.

Very happy to taste a real korean beef stew(galbitang). The taste so much beyond a standard of high street restaurants. Furthermore, the hugely portion enough to feel full in the stomach to night without dinner. A little high price worthy to enjoy it. I will visit again with my family in fantastic place.

Great restaurant with a great choice of dishes!! The servers are very welcoming!! The dishes are really very good! I recommend the Volcano rolls which are very well presented on the plate and excellent in the mouth! The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. It’s just a shame that the music is a little loud! The service is very fast.

Pretty rubbish experience. The food was bland and flavourless. The tteok bokki tasted as though it was from a packet of noodles from the supermarket. The dakgangjung was bland, unseasoned and the sauce tasted like watery carrot soup. The food is definitely well over priced for the quality you receive. As well as a £5 service charge for little to no service. Will definitely not be returning.

avoid tteok bokki, tasted like instant noodles with packet flavourings and the hard boiled egg, cold and inedible. And the fried chicken was bland, dry, stringy, pretty gross. kimchi hadn’t been fermented for long, had a grainy mouth feel from some seasoning. Everything needs seasoning. Shan’t be returning. And service charge of £5 for pressing a button and waiting ages in an empty place is pretty poor. :( sorry guys, up your game.

Should have more vegetarian options

Atto recently expanded their menu, there are new items since we last ate there in Nov 2022. Sushi options are new and a nice mix with the classic Korean options. I don’t think all the Siracha Mayo is needed on the Bulgogi beef roll - it was nice nonetheless. Fried chicken was very crispy and took twenty miniatures longer than the twenty minutes the waiter said it would. To cook drumsticks all the way through takes time so fair enough. Best to eat crispy cooked through chicken then just crispy chicken.

Ordered on uber eats. Food was overcooked, far too salty and the spicy squid tasted only of chilli. Rice sticky like glue. Inedible swill. Very disappointing given the positive reviews

We had a lovely time at ATTO Guildford today. We did the BBQ plus some wonderful fried chicken and noodles. The food was first rate and the BBQ was a lot of fun. Staff were very friendly and helped us where we needed - very kid friendly too. Highly recommended - we'll be back!

Amazing food ,amazing service, I'm taking all my friends there next time

Amazingly disappointing. We went for the taster BBQ for two expecting it to be a meal for two. It isn’t, it’s more of a starter for two. It was £40 for two. The bill was £55 for this and two beers, so not cheap. Sadly the tiny amount of food was underwhelming and what little there was was almost entirely fat and bone. The portion we might have expected for a single person, but not for two. There was even only three thin slices of mushroom (not easy to split that between two people) and three slices of beef rib (which was all fat and bone (see photo of what was left from two pieces). You even have to pay extra for a bowl of Luke warm rice and don’t have enough dips to add any flavour - a teaspoon in a little bowl. Other people had complete dishes which were from the menu and not the BBQ list. They seemed happy enough, but we certainly weren’t. It’s a shame as had hoped it’d be a good new restaurant in Guildford, but us leaving disappointed is an understatement. The best bit of our meal was the fact that ITSU had 50% off after we left, so went and bought some good value sushi to fill us up afterwards. Won’t be going back again.

It's OK, although not much to compare it with in Guildford. Might be a bit of a one off experience to go and sit around a table and cook some meat? The food was fine (it's cuts of meat..) although charging what they do for a salad - a few leaves of lettuce 🥬 - to go with the meat was a tad outrageous!

We went for a BBQ taster set and it was very tasty. We also ordered a kimchi pancake which was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and spicy and sour in all the best ways. The staff bring you more lettuce and sauces if you need it for the bbq, which we did. All in all, very reasonable for the price and delicious. We will be back again for sure!

Something new in Guilford! We tried the bbq set for two, it was good but we felt we didn't get much for the price they charged. We still had to get more food afterwards.

Great to have a Korean place in town, however unfortunately the portion sizes are tiny and the dishes are very expensive. By way of example, a side order of spring rolls contained just two small rolls! Bbq options looked OK but were very expensive. Service was fairly slow and unfriendly. Will not be returning.

My daughter really enjoyed the noodles and broth and they were generous with the portion of chicken. On the other hand, having tried korean bbq for many years at various places, comparatively speaking, the selection of meats were less marinated than expected and of stingy size considering how much we paid. It seemed a bit wrong. In terms of service, we asked 4 times to pay for the bill. It was okay overall. Good kimchi.

A comprehensive Korean menu encompassing Korean BBQ options - we were asked when booking if we wanted a BBQ table. The food was excellent and they offered to operate our BBQ. The service was very courteous and friendly. A great improvement would be more explanations on the menu for those people who are not conversant with this cuisine. I would definitely return.

Come across this small Korean restaurant. The food is authentic, super tasty, and affordable. They have Korean bbq and Korean fried Chicken. We had Bimbi Bap and Galbi Tang, the bill is £31. I would definitely recommend both dishes. Restaurant deco is simple and clean. Staff is friendly also.
