Was a nice place to go for a meal. Service was good and good was ok.

We love it and we go quite often! Great food (both the selection and the quality). Never had anything we didn't like here.

Best curry I have had in years. Great service with attentive genuine people. The only downside was, the air conditioning was freezing. They needed to turn it down. I would really recommend this place. But sit away from the draft of the air conditioning

Brilliant food. We ordered the mixed grill clay pot, Khasiko Masu lamb, garlic rosti, mushroom rice, they're top notch. At 7pm on a Sunday night, it's almost full house. If you travel around this area, this place is highly recommended.

Have this evening had a takeaway from Gurkha Palace after a friend recommended the restaurant, and I can only apologise in advance, but this was extremely disappointing. The poppadom's were oily, the chilli naan flavourless. The onion bhajis light and well cooked, but bland. The momo dumplings were ok, but again no flavour. The Chicken Tikka barely spiced. The Aloo Jeera only tasted of potato, nil flavour (again). The Sherpa Kukhura (chicken dish, meant to be very hot) was anything but. It tasted like a cross between a supermarket peanut satay sauce and a Chinese standard Chicken Curry. I am certain it cannot be a packet sauce, but the texture, consistency, and once again, lack of flavour and spice had that level of quality to it. Looking at the reviews, clearly this is a well though of location, and I am pleased to see that a local business is doing well. But for me, this was a hugely disappointing experience. There is a wonderful Nepalese restaurant/takeaway in Aldershot that we have had multiple takeaways from over the 2 years that we have moved into the countryside near to Farnham. They have been of the best standard time and time again (I wont name them on here, as it would be unfair). I am sorry to say, this will be the only time we order from here, and I can only extend my apologies further as I cannot recommend this is a place to eat. I wish the restaurant the best for the future though.

Great service and great food (as per normal) at the Gurkha Palace. We attended as a 10 person group and there were no issues serving all 10 in good time.

Fantastic Gurkha food. I took a group of foreign guest with me who had no idea of the menu, they were looked after very well by the staff and owner. Definitely worth a visit.

some really good curries on the menu. always seems popular and worth booking, or ordering a take away and pick it up yourself. they seem to throw in free the poppadoms too!

All I can say is what an amazing experience we had. The team went above and beyond. Nothing was a bother, food was delicious, the best nann bread ever, so light and fluffy. If you haven’t been then you need to go

This restaurant is for Goras. The food portion is so less oh God all they can give is loads of onions in everything. If you are looking for the typical Nepali authentic food please avoid this place and find other Nepalese restaurants in Aldershot.

Nice food, music was a little loud

Date Night with the wife on a wet Tuesday evening, my lamb dish was very nice but disappointed with the chicken dish. Will go back.

Very friendly staff, who despite how busy the place was, due to the nearby conference, made sure that you didn't have to wait too long to be served and fed. I had the vegtable fritters, which were fried, had a bit of crispness, and the aubergine innards were soft without being mushy. The curry I had, had a pleasant spice and sweetness alongside the spiced okra dish. Only possible downside was due to ordering multiple sweer naan breads, I think the honey was applied to the top stack, so bottom was more plain (but still delicious).

I really want to give them 5 stars. We first dined here about 4 years ago and the food was excellent on that visit. But we’ve been back twice since and unfortunately it wasn’t as good. It certainly isn’t bad Nepalese food, it’s just not as good as it once was and not as good as another Nepalese restaurant we now visit in Aldershot. Also, on our recent visit, we were seated in a very cold window alcove.

I had visited the restaurant and had food 5 years ago. Staff in the restaurant are highly disciplined and afford food with great gesture. Recommend people to visit the restaurant and have food .

One of our all-time favourite restaurants. Have been a customer since they opened, some 15 years (?) ago. The quality of food and service is consistently excellent, and we've never been disppointed. Absolutely superb, and we look forward to our next visit.

Visited for the first time this Saturday and was very happy with everything. There were a few things that I haven’t seen on menus before, will have to go back and try them out. The restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived (usually a sign the food is good) we were sat upstairs. I was a bit worried what the service would be like being sat up there, the service was brilliant and we were well looked after. The food dishes were all good and a decent size. The bill at the end I found reasonable too. Would recommend and I will be returning. Thanks

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I'm visiting family for the holidays (I live in the US) and I went twice in December, the first time with my cousin and the second with my mum and niece. Starters and mains were excellent, as always, and everyone enjoyed their food, service was great with a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Great food, which is why we went. One waiter was excellent, one waitress was ambivalent and fairly quiet night so little atmosphere, but we created our own

I literally can't ever fault this place. My parents introduced me to it. And damn the food is good. The service is brilliant. And it's always nice and busy and everytime I go it's just perfect.

A nice visit with a group of 8 after a go karting session in Farnborough. Was recommended am meal which was the house special, it was a little bland or lacking spice for my liking but not too bad. Service was good and we had a good evening.

Lovely restaurant with an extensive menu. Lots of chefs choice meals which I chose from. My curry was delicious. Service was excellent and staff very friendly and welcoming. Id definitely eat here again.

The reviews oversell the actual experience. Ok food. Had a selection of starters - ok. Lamb curry, not too much taste to it. Garlic Naan - not too much taste to it at all. Friendly service though. Nepali draught beer was nice. It total, I would probably skip this place.

Thought we would give the place a try as stopping at a hotel close by. Arrived, no booking, shown to a table. Ordered a couple of pints of Everest and a coke. Sometimes the beer is a little hit n miss but the Everest was quite a nice drop. Lively with a taste akin to Budweiser. Ordered the pops n dips excellent. Starters were the staple onion bhagis chicken skewers and chicken livers (see photo) all arrived quickly and were very tasty. Mains were 2 tikka masalas (very adventurous) I ordered chefs special the Piro Kukhura (medium) which is a diced chicken dish which at a medium got the pulse racing. Really nice n tasty. May risk a hot next time but guessing that may be beyond my capability. Garlic naan pilau rice for 3. Great food. Great setting. Good service. No problem returning. My first try at Nepalese cuisine but not my last. Busy little place which is seldom a bad sign. I intend to return when next in the area.

Absolutely the best Lamb and Chicken Curry takeaway I've had since I moved to Farnborough. The exact name is: Kukhurako Masu( Tender boneless Chicken curry - Medium) and Staff Curry (Tender Boneless Lamb -Hot) Trust me you need to taste it. It's yummy 😋 . The staff is very welcoming and the services are so great.

Incredible food ( pre ordered ) delivered to my house for a birthday party. C 50 people, three different curry's all amazing with all the extras. There was not a guest at the party who did not say wow ! and the portion size/ amount was spot on. Thank you so much Team. Also a regular dinner and would I highly recommend, and the bar is set highly locally.

Food is always good. The staff are helpful and will accommodate you with changes to the menu whenever possible.

We have been coming here as a family for over 10 years and the quality is consistently high. Really nice choice of food from really spicy options like the green chilli chicken to mild for children and for different tastes. Their allergy menu is great too. Staff are always on the ball and combined with a decent wine choice its the go to curry house in Farnborough.

The service is first class. The food is awesome! The naan breads are the best. Meat is cooked but still tender. Love the sauces. Great restaurant.

I don’t prefer Nepalese to go in this restaurant because the hospitality towards nepalese in this restaurant is not so good. One of my worse experience among Nepalese restaurants in Uk.

The food was sooo amazing! I need to come back here again. May bring a cushion though, the seats were terribly uncomfortable 😅

Underwhelming , Basic decor cheap furniture to . Greeted by waiter and asked what Nepalese food he recommended... answer chicken or lamb is good . I pushed a little harder and said I wanted to try good Nepalese's food so what did he recommend ... The waiters answer was truthful but surprising " he said sir we cater for British market so don't really offer true Nepalese food ... and so it proved . The food was lacking in depth of flavour and spice everything just didn't marry well and the chicken just looks as it had just been added to a creamy Sause moments before it came to the table. All the veg tasted the same and were overloaded with onions , oddly our two mains came with big slices of salad tomatoes the were not really cooked but it was odd they were there ? As we were talking during the meal 4 different waiters came to ask us if we had finished our meal .... as the place was busy it seemed like they wanted us to go so on the 5th time we said ok and left . Not really a good curry place , ok if you like bland English style food.

Tasty Nepalese food at a very reasonable price. Service was standard but catered for 13 of us well. The “very hot” curry dish isn’t as spicy as anticipated so I’d recommend asking the waiter to add extra spice if you’re looking to go nuclear. Chicken dumplings are pretty good.

We came here with relatives from overseas and wanted to treat them to a decent curry and they weren’t disappointed. Every dish is decent with good quality ingredients. The hot dishes are hot without blowing your mouth off. The green chicken is a personal favourite. The okra is FANTASTIC.

Every year I visit it’s the same great taste .. 👍🏻

Food was OK. But the One star is for terribly rude and racist behaviour by the lady who was part of your service staff. She rolled her eyes at me when I smiled at her when we entered. We were taken to an awful attic place to be served. We ordered a bottle of still water with our meal and she slammed the bottle right near my hand and walked off immediately to start chatting with the white couple behind us in the sweetest voice. No thank you, no smile. We will not be returning.

Took my family to this restaurant for Mother’s Day and the service was 10/10 the food was delicious and served the foods really quick and the staff were very nice. 100% recommend....

As always wonderful service and fabulous food which caters for all types of allergies. My wife is coeliac and this is THE best place for gluten free curry dishes. Great service and great food. A visit here is highly recommended. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL !!!

Such a lovely meal with friends. Staff there are welcoming, and friendly and the food was as great as ever. The restaurant was comfortably warm! Something lacking in some restaurants visited recently. The menu was familiar from previous visits and the standard was consistently great. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed.

Went to Gurkha Palace for a works do. The staff were great and I had the best curry I have ever eaten but I had a few beers that night so needed to try again before leaving a review. got a takeaway for me and my partner this evening and can now confirm this is the best curry house in the area. 100% would recommend and I will be returning in the future. Went for dinner , loved the veg and Non-veg options. Tried Chicken dishes ( Curry and Liver fry) it was lip smacking authentic food. Food quality and Portion size were good. Lentil Daal and Rice was too good, just like home made. the atmosphere is quite unique with Nepali Artifacts and history.

Visited on Saturday night - quite busy when we arrived but quieter later. Menu has all the Nepalese favourites. Portion sizes good, service ok. On the downside, food was a little greasy (saag aloo in particular) and didn’t like the fact that 2 portions of rice were crammed into one dish

This restaurant serves high quality cuisine, with a wide choice of dishes in a warm and friendly atmosphere, they raise a great deal of money for local and the charities of Nepal, there are many, many customers who return very regularly and add to the "family" ambience.

The food was good, but not enough staff for the busy evening and the tables and chairs were a little tired, my chair was very saggy, a little refurb required?

Have been 3 times. Nice place for nepalese and indian style dishes. Fresh spinach dish was great. Lamb was a little tough on a couple of occasions. All else good.

Fantastic meal. Had friends come up from Bournemouth. Staff very nice and polite and food was stunning. Had starters mains and sides with rice's and naans and all was fantastic. Thanks to everyone.

Tired and a rundown feeling, bit of a cheesy 1980s flashback. Food mediocre and not particularly fresh tasting or exciting. Toilets a bit grim. Seems to have a loyal clientele, so I guess it won't change. Wouldn't return out of choice.

Authentisches, nepalesisches Essen. Sehr lecker und ausreichend. Von mild bis superscharf ist für jeden etwas dabei. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für den etwas humorlosen Service.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food and service is always first class. I've recommended to many, including colleagues from overseas and their feedback is always extremely positive.

We ate here last night for the first time in years and all I can say is the food was quite good but the service was very poor. They couldn’t wait for us to leave, they brought the bill over when we hadn’t asked for it and banged the open/closed sign on the window. I would suggest some lessons in being courteous, serving with a smile and an appreciation that your spending your hard earned money would help the staff.

This is one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in a long time. We went as a group of 3, ordered a main dish each and 4 sides. Literally everything tasted the same, there was no distinction between any of the dishes. The lamb was tough and the vegetables were frozen and mushy. We were asked at the end if the food was satisfactory and we passed on our feedback to the staff. They really couldn’t care less and just laughed. The meal for 3 was £100 which is absolutely ridiculous as well.

Food terrible, service mediocre

I dined here on three occasions as a late walk-in and was seated immediately. I tried the Hot Kukhura Chana (twice) and the Sherpa Kukhura. The service was OK and the food was OK. So, in summary it’s OK (the decor’s a bit iffy – not very palatial IIRC).

Really good food. My curry had good depth of flavour without being over powered by heat.

Essen war leider nur ok. Restaurant war damals deutlich besser und hat vom Service echt nachgelassen. Hatten reserviert und mussten leider trotzdem 30 min warten. Essen hat dann eine stunde gedauert und dann ist ihnen aufgefallen das sie bestimmte Sachen nicht mehr hatten. Die eine Hauptspeise kam und dann hat es nochmal 15 min gedauert bis meine kam. Service war lustlos und ein Lachen oder ein danke ist auch fehl am Platz. Komme leider nicht mehr wieder.

Came back here after 12 years , can't remember much about the previous experience much! But food is super nice, the monkfish special was very yummy. Service was good, could be improved with few extras smiles 😊
