Quiet and relaxed midweek meal with a friend. Food was delicious but a little pricey at around £50 per person (not including drinks or desserts). The service was quick and friendly. Would definitely go again for a treat/quiet meal. The car park nearby is 2 hours free parking but you still need to get a ticket from the machine.

We went as a family, but when greeted with staff we received appalling service. They had a lot of attitude and a lack of enthusiasm to serve theirs customers. As from the moment we arrived we asked whether we could be seated in one of the available seats which were pretty much free. But the staff denied allowing us to sit anywhere but right in the middle row in the entrance way. When there the restaurant was empty. I expected better than this. This is meant to be fine dinning area. But after the service received today. I have to say I and my family will not be coming here again.

The food was old, cold and crusty. Was so not worth the £21pp! Majority of the options were empty so there was even less to choose from! My partner raved so much about this restaurant but he swears it’s gone down hill so much and will not be returning.

This is regularly the rudest place in Tenterden. I went on Monday with two friends at 9pm. There was nobody else in (no surprise) and the host greeted us with “we close at 10” in a way that made it clear he would rather we didn’t come in. We ordered poppadoms, a bottle of red wine and a jug of tap water. He then told us they don’t serve tap water due to health and safety!! I pointed out that I live in Tenterden and drink the water all the time. He insisted tap water could not be served, so in disgust we left and had a great meal at Ozgur. The welcome at Badsha is regularly brusque and rude. By the way it is illegal for restaurants not to offer tap water!

Kimchi, steamed fish, aubergine pot, stir fry cabbage, kimchi pancake, soy bean paste tofu stew Absolutely fantastic! No frills, great food. Best kimchi I’ve ever had. Silky steamed fish. Kimchi pancake was a crowd favourite. Cabbage was surprisingly flavourful. Aubergine was authentically (weirdly similar to) Chinese Tofu stew was lacking, the tofu was not soft (per previous experience) but the broth was warm and comforting Had quite a few Chinese dishes on the menu My friend devoured his bbq pork

The food here is very poor. Lots of cheap ingredients and very little meat. I think the “spring onion” that went with the crispy duck was possibly leek as it was so tough. The sweet and sour chicken was all batter and very little chicken, the sauce was almost non existent and what was there was gluey and certainly not pourable. Everything was very greasy and looked as though the deep fat frier was their main cooking style. Very little fresh ingredients and everything lacked flavour. To sum up, this is all quantity and no quality. Very disappointing!
