Had always heard good things about MK Everest... its a bit hidden in the depths of Woverton, but worth hunting it out on the square. Momo dumplings are a must if you visit!! The Thalis are great to try a bit of everything!! Will definately go back again!

Can't believe I haven't written a review before... My first choice from all the numerous cafes in Amersham ever since it opened. [Previously a regular at the much missed JACS} Coffee, food and staff are all first rate.

A small independent cafe cooking food as and when ordered. Menu is a little exciting, providing English and some Nepalese food. Good prices, catering largely to shoppers visiting the small precinct. Friendly and competent owner and family.

Been eating here for ages as I live close by, but not lately due to holidays etc. Its not on a high street so there is no passing trade, and sometimes empty, so its always easy to get a booking. I don't know how the manager Bir survives, but he does, and several previous owners have moved on. My favourite meal is the Sherpa Lamb and the current chef is making this to perfection!!! whilst wife enjoys chicken tikka masala. The portions are too large and always need doggy bag take away for next day meal. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

This review might come as a shock to everyone, but out of the many Sri Lankan restaurants I've been to, this by far has been the worst. The service was really bad. Our plates came with hair, afterwhich the waiter simply took it to a corner, wiped it and brought back the same plate. We pointed out to him that there was hair on the plate so we needed another to which he replied "what do you want". Very rude. The food is nothing close to what you'd taste at Kolamba, Colombo Kitchen, Hoppers or Machan. The authentic SL taste is no where near any of the dishes. The choice of menu is very poor. Lots of classic dishes missing. Portion sizes are so small compared to the price which is a similar price to the above mentioned places. The restaurant felt very unhygienic. Very sorry but terrible first experience, will not return.
